No, Revivals didn't "Go Away". We do drag and drive events annually, and we take our fans along. And yes, race events were in our first 15 videos ever. It's who we are - racing, builds, and revivals. Thanks to the true fans that understand we like to do events, especially my wife and I, or my family and I. Since we work 365 days a year, we don't get "vacations", or "time off". This is as close as we get, and we enjoy it.
I can't believe it but I got to, I'm looking right at it!!
You rock!!! Keep on keeping on!!!
Cant believe you have to say this stuff Geeze. Love everything a guy does!
None of them revivals only ones realize you enjoy time with family. Events and working at home gives you home time.
So what you're saying to a guy is.... Revivals AREN'T going away.... got it....
God bless you, Derek and family. You do you. And I'll keep on watching.
True fans don’t care about what kind of content you put out. We just enjoy the ride and it’s even better when we get to see the family together.
Exactly right, too many ‘fair weather fans’
So true buddy!
ab so out lee !
Agree!!!
You know that's right
whether you're elbows-deep in a revival, thrashing around in the shop, at the track, cruising the hills, delivering Christmas presents in a schoolbus, petting the shop lion, wrenchin' on a kart, whatever it is, Derek, we will be here. You're such a genuinely good person it's easy to stay a fan and subscriber. I've been VGG since the 1st RUclips video and I'm not going anywhere. You even take us on "vacation"!!! Freakin' awesome!!!
Thanks buddy!
Couldn't agree more!
@@ViceGripGarage Ya, what that guy said!
DEREK, NEVER FORGET to TAKE CARE of your HEALTH.
The only channel where I like a video before I watch it. Thanks Bieri family!
And you're doing a disservice to the channel by doing that.
@@spiney2291why is that? I like his videos before I watch the whole thing. I still watch the whole thing. It just means any video with the fella is something you appreciate and it’s going to be a good one.
Not sure what you are implying... I've watched every video he's ever made! (all the way through)@@spiney2291
Agreed. This is quality programming!@@dawg4135
Always thumb up as I “tune in”. They’re always very good, better than anything on TV.
Awesome honest video no conflict, showboating or screaming! Thanks to you and all your family CAR CULTURE is alive
Much appreciated
@@ViceGripGarage Well help me UNDERSTAND Thisss....
you crack me up Derek, never change brother,....you are one hilarious S.O.B..
love it...
pointing at stuff with 3 fingers...hahahaaa
couple of Wobble pops..hahaaaa
Couldn't say it better myself, ViceGripGarage is just about perfect viewing, even for a mechanically challenged individual like me.
It doesn’t matter what’s on the video, we just love hanging with Derek. Wrenching, smoking tires, or just sipping on cold snacks!!
I love them all: Drag and Drive, Revivals, Burnout Comps, Rebuilds, Cletus and Cars, it’s all good!
Derek you have one amazing channel. Going through some tough medical issues with my wife and you and Jessica just put me in a really good place. Thank you very much I’m a Vietnam veteran and you are a savior. 🇺🇸 Artie
No need to explain anything to us, Derek. You give each of us more enjoyment than you could ever imagine. A feller loves VGG more than an ice cold wobble pop. And believe me, that was hard to admit. 😂
I have a "mountain soda" :)
totaly treu same here. i love derek.
I can’t think of a wobble pop that I would enjoy ice cold, on the rocks, sure, but not ice cold.
A cold snack after a long, hot day is a different story.
I got rid of cable and go through phases of hobbies and RUclipsrs but VGG is the only one I’ve watched religiously since discovering the channel. I’d watch all day everyday if the content was there. Absolutely awesome content, Derek. Keep it up.
Ive done the same/my house litterally only have WiFi .we dont need cable tv or dish tv
The content IS there every day! Nothing says you can’t go back and rewatch the older videos!
Appreciate all the crazy long hours you are doing just to entertain all of us. It does not go unnoticed.
Derek, focus on the overwhelming positivity from the fans , most of us would watch you rebuild a blender or anything. Who you are is the channel, not what you do!!!!! Keep it up bud love it.
I would definitely watch him rebuild a blender.
Yes !!! a mid week Vicegripgarage video to brighten up the week. Thanks Derek.
What a deal to have Bradley there to help you. What a polite young man, I can tell he has a lot of respect for his Pop’s.
Looks like Bradley has been chowing down on some Miracle Grow! Growing up FAST!
That torpedo heater running in the background brings back great memories for me. My dad had one in his shop, he'd fire it up when we'd work on projects. Thanks for another great video and some fond memories of my dad. ~ Chuck
Derek you rock ! Perfect timing! Sitting downstairs while the wife naps looking at square body shit with coffee. THANK YOU !🎉
I normally don't absorb a "cold snack" this time of day but I do what makes sense when I see a 101 minute run time on a new video :) Stoked
🥲👌 perfect timing right 👍
Sounds great. Can’t wait to see what she run in the quarter.
Derek, I hope you and the family enjoy yourselves this week! It's always a blast watching your videos of the drag and drive events, etc. I know you're grateful for everyone watching, but we're just as grateful you're putting all this time and effort into entertaining and educating us.
Derek! I want to personally thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul. I had lost the gumption to own something I could work on and make it "mine" about 11-12 years ago due to a work related accident. But through watching you these past few months (yes I'm a newcomer) I have slowly been feeling the want and drive to find something that I can build and restore-ish for myself and have something I can drive around and feel that pride of saying "oh yea, that's mine". And I hope to never ever lose that again! And I know through watching you I won't. I'd love to meet you and the family someday. Hopefully I can make it to an event you're at and at least shake your hand! Keep the shiny side up good sir! And thank you again!
I enjoy watching you work with your young Sasquatch’s. You’re a good man!
I ran a little one and a big one as needed for years while wrenching on daily cars, race cars, buy-and-flip cars/trucks, the lawnmower, weedeater, generator, snowblower, motorcycle, whatever in the garage. They WORK, fast too.
You do an awesome job with those boys. We are here man, don’t worry about revivals etc., we know you work hard. Make sure you enjoy life too.
NEW VGG DRINKING GAME!!
Every time that the shop lion walks in the front of the camera take a shot of your drunk of choice... Cheer from Canada folks
I love your channel Derek. I’m no mechanic but really admire how you tackle all the projects you take on with determination and great sense of humour. Thank you for all the amazing effort that goes into producing your videos.
You have given me such inspiration for my current build. Nothing fancy or rich, but my first build at 42 years old none the less. Thanks for all the great content with you and your family!
That was a revival..a rebuild..a swap..an upgrade...sheesh! Outstanding as always! Thank you and yours for all you do and showing us all that family always comes first! MOSES SANDALS!
The revivals and the events are both great, keep it up sir.
Moses' sandals ! What sorta show is this ? A mid-week (almost) 2 hour episode ?!
Dang, you spoil us fella!
This channel and all the platforms associated with it, is a high quality, top shelf, down to earth, real people doing things they love. And we are the fortunate ones who get to share vicariously in their adventures. Ive never had the opportunity or pleasure of meeting Derek or his family, but i consider them friends ive been following so long. So, i guess whatever a feller and fellet are gonna do, on their channel, is up to them. Im going to watch and support whatever they do and appreciate it..its quality entertainment...its their life for Petes sake....im not gonna bash them or criticize what they do or produce on thier channel, like a good friend, im just gonna support them and their endeavors...thanks a bunch Bieris for all you do, and im so glad your blesed and able to do what you love and i feel blessed and fortunate that you take the time and make the effort to produce edit and share them with us! Derek ROLL ON!
I love the revivals. But turning a car into a fun, purpose-built rig is what revs this guy’s engine. Keep up the good work Derek!
Hey Derek, thank you so much for what you do for us fans and your family. You’re my favorite content creator. Keep up the good work guy.
It was so great to be able to see you and Jessica in person today along with being able to see the Liberty Chevelle and Motion truck up close. I'd hoped to pick up a couple of your shirts while I was there but Jess said unfortunately there just wasn't enough room to bring any. So I did the next best thing and bought a shirt from your friends at Motion Raceworks. There are so many crazy and insanely fast cars at this event. I encourage any other Vice grip fans to get out there in person if you're able. You won't regret it!
You really need a vacation Derek!!!! Seriously, where do you get the time!!!
Those Magnaflows sound Awesome with a big block! Oh and thanks for the update on The Duster, Charles is Lovin' Life 😆
How cool, I come inside to take a break from wrenching on my project and VGG is on the RUclips! Doesn't get any better!
Derick, you are the father that I wished I had and the father that I wished I could’ve been. You’re a good man, May God keep on blessing you and your family!
Why couldn't you have been a father like that? 🤔
One can be ANY father that they wish to be..
@@davelowetsthe guy possibly never had chance to be a father
She sounds SO COOL!
Thank you for the laughs today, much needed as my Dad just passed. Keep doing you Derek.
Sorry for your loss, brother.
My condolences brother
Love your contagious villain laugh in the beginning 🤣🤪
You bring so much joy to some of us that are stuck in our broken bodies and can only hope to be able to ride the wave of regular life sooner than never.
Thanks D dog

I lived in north western MN and eastern ND for many years....I moved to TN 18 years ago and am still amazed at how terrible they are at handling snow down here. We got 6" last Monday and like you said....out of school for a whole week!.....I sure wish it worked like that growing up in the great white north! We didn't miss school for 6" of snow per DAY......lol I feel your pain about being basically snowed in with not much snow......Enjoy it while you can.....Summers are brutal!
The thing about it is this: it snows where the snow actually sticks to the ground and causes issues here maybe every 4 years. And that's only once during the whole winter. It doesn't make sense for the counties/cities to purchase and upkeep a fleet of plows and such that will rarely ever get used. It's much easier to just have 1 or 2 snow days every few years. This year was a freak event that wasn't even snow. I live in a rural area close to the TN line and it took over a week for the literal inches of ice to thaw.
@@shawnpotts7207 I agree.....the main problem for me is that nasty brine that the county sprays before it snows. It just makes a mess under the snow....why not wait for the snow to stop then put the brine down?.....It might actually have some effect other than rusting out our cars. But, my kids don't mind and I do enjoy the snow and cold weather....lol, how often do you hear that?:o)
FLASHBACK! Adjusting that timing. Helped a buddy back in high school. He had the light I was doing the Adjusting. Boy oh boy, ANY Crack in them lightning hoses can and WILL light you up. I know for sure.....
The Gratitude flows BOTH WAYS! Appreciate you all providing this content!!!
Absolutely love this channel. I could watch it all day long. Doesn’t matter the content because you know it’s gonna be good. Thanks Derek and family for what you do. I know a lot of hard work goes into every video you make. Thanks for sharing and have a great sick week!!
Can’t wait for the SICK week videos! Always enjoy the drag/drive event series.
Derek, VGG family and friends...that metallic blue, black and chrome Chevelle looks SICK! (See what I did there...sick..."Sick Week"?) 🤭
I’m looking forward to some drag hits & seeing the family drag racing if they choose to. They have a great mentor.
It's the variety of content that keeps me coming back to this channel
Derek's videos are always a 10/10
Always good wholesome videos that a guy can sit down with his kids and watch and not worry about what they're gonna hear or see. I really appreciate it Derek!!
I'm glad to see it's ready. Have an awesome week.
Liberty Chevelle has to be one of your nicest cars. Enjoy your channel, keep up the great work.
A guy really likes the ol’ Libertah Chevelle. Watched every video about it ever since you picked it up and drove it home! Love the car and your channel, Derek! Keep it up! God bless VGG!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
1:06:01 - my favourite band! They were active from 1977 to 1988 and again from 1990 to 1995, Mark Knopfler is now an independent solo artist.
Whooo hooooo a video on a Tuesday, whatta treat.
Pizza and a show!!
1:33:45 That startup puts a big smile on my face!
Perfect timing, just finished dinner in the Netherlands .... lazy seat, feet up and VGG 👌🏻
Here also👌👌💪
Fellow Dutchy
What the hell kind of cars you fellas have there? I'd imagine lots of Volkswagens and Mercedes, no?
@@JohnnyOla511 alot of everything! Alot of Volvo's etc too! (And up north at least) quite some American classics 👌🏻
What? A new video and it's not even Friday! Loving the extra content! We are blessed to be able to watch a guy do what you do when a guy can't sleep. Thanks Derek and have a good week. Look forward to your updates as you hit the road.
I know you’ve been in that shop for a bit. But watching this video for some reason brought back memories of the old shop and where you came from. What a road you have come down!!!!! Keep up the great work my friend, my favorite youtube family!
NICE!!! Lunchtime vidja's!!! Congrats on getting all that work done, Derek! I know it ain't easy!
Just opened RUclips and sat down to some Subway at my desk.
I like your "vidja's". Hard to get pronunciation into words.
How long is your lunch break this is almost a 2hr video lmao
@@daltonseay4544 As long as I want it to be. One of the perks when you're your own boss.
I love watching the drag & drive events that you and your family do. It's just like Hank Williams Jr. Sung once upon a time, 🎵🎶 ..." It's a ... family tradition" ❤️...🎵🎶. Truthfully at this stage of the game, and the fact that I've been following your channels for a very long time, you need not to apologize. Especially because you've stayed true to us fans. Thank you.
Be safe, and God bless you and your family. God bless America 🇺🇸 🙏🏻 ❤️!
What a beautiful great rig! Truly enjoy everything you do. Have a great safe trip!
I can honestly say I have enjoyed every episode. Keep up the good content.
The real fans that love the channel will watch no matter what you're doing. It's the content maker more so than the content.
Good luck during the week Derek!! Thanks for your time and I REALLLY ENJOY What you do! Looking forward to the journey. Thank the family for me also. Everyone have a great day!!
One heck of a project! Hope all goes well with Sick Week!!!
Derek, just knowing that you love cats tells me a lot about you. I love the little critters too and our personalities are very similar. God bless you, sir, never change what you do or who you are.
I'm happy that it all worked out. Your work ethic is outstanding. You earned the respect you have. Good luck with your trip.
Man, I LOVE this content! Just watched your interview on C-10 trucks and we know how hard you work. We all appreciate YOU and your ability to keep this Americana moving down the road and taking us with you.
Derek, what a sweet ride! Have a blast, we will be watching.
I feel your pain. I remember as a kid in 70's Britain watching the news about people being trapped in their cars and farmers using poles to look for livestock buried under the snow.
Now, there's a slight icing sugar coating of snow, and the whole country panics and basically shuts down.
1:09:47 Foreshadowing Cleeters last Sick Week run in Mullet lol
Liberty sounds SOOOOOOO good with that Magnaflow exhaust!! Huge props to you all for thrashing on that ol gal! Can’t wait to see the Sick Week videos!
Man oh man it's great to see that car back in action 😁. Great job everyone 👍. Thanks for sharing 🙏.
I love the revive and drives but that recent video where you repaired and painted that truck might be my new favorite video.
Just finished the video and I loved what I saw. You give me the confidence I need to keep going forward on my trans am build. Today marks 4 years since my father’s passing but I will continue to build his car and your videos help me get a better understanding of certain stuff.
Keep doing what you do brother much love from Memphis Tennessee. Have fun at sick week!
Member for almost a year, and proudly so. Love everything you do, VGG!
You know what Willie is singing right now... On the road again! What a thrash, great job Fella!
Working on my own project...slowly, I'm always so impressed with just how much you work Derek. Take a vacation dude, your channel won't die, don't worry!
Good to see you getting the boys into the garage and giving them some learning !
Love the shows. Do what you want and let the haters hate. We all, including them, watch for you, your inspiration, and little tid bits of information.
Derek any content you make is great! Always look forward to your videos!
Always a great video!! Your proof that hard work has it's benefits !! Just look at yours in the last few years !!👍
Bought the livestream just to watch you and Chad, not the other Chad but also Camaro Chad, make passes. Great runs, so far!!!
Hey Derek I got a challenge for you if your interested!! I own an entire 66 chevelle Malibu, a FEW parts are sitting on shelf ready to be reinstalled 😊. This could make a really good episode for vice grip!
Love to see Brad helping you more and more.
Thanks for your hard work and taking us along
My absolute favorite RUclips channel and the best host a guy could ask for! Been subscribed since the early days
Yep! Another good one during supper!
You do what you do, that makes you and your family happy, I’m along for the ride regardless. Wish I could do what you do.
This old fella has to say. Derek you're awesome family man. I absolutely love your entire family. Bradley is getting to be a rather good size young man. I can't get enough of VGG .
I look forward to your drag an drive videos , its part of the automotive scene an thank you for your hard work brother .
Always good to see the boys helping.
Derek. You and your family are the kind of people I'd love to take out to breakfast after church😊.
Thank you for sharing the build Derick!
Derek are awesome and do great work restoring these vintage vehicles. And the way you include your son's in your projects, well that is always great to see...
One suggestion Derek....You should come out with some shirts that say, "Well, I'll Be Dipped" lol
love the tuesday hour plus video! way to knock the boring out of quiet workday! love what you do Derek!
Talk about a total rebuild! Everything was gone through, and in a short time period to boot! Congrats on the build and looking forward to seeing it street and strip!
Liberty Chevelle is a thing of beauty I tell you what, getting excited to see what she can do
Hey bud us that watch all your shows and respect what you do are not worried about a little back ground noise as long as your warm it's fine I promise! I'm in Friendsville tn and the snow didn't stop me at all no problems!!
That is one BAD ASS CHEVELLE!!! Glad you did the front end rebuild,Liberty deserves it!
Man... Miss Liberty is looking so good now the way that rear end and suspension look underneath this beast is better than a feller could imagine. You truly put out the best videos on the RUclips's and this is going to be a extremely fun week for videos. Have a great time on sick week.
Love the power! Chevelle is my favorite car, always has been. I had a 69 once. Wished I was there having fun with y’all.
