- We just built a MASSIVE Reptile Enclosure for our new Tokay Gecko girl! Not only is this enclosure huge for our Tokay Gecko, some would say it's a city...oh wait that's what exactly we built!
Join our Animal Care Manager, Kasey, as she walks through the entire process of building this beautiful, post-apocalyptic city in our 2x2x4 Reptile Enclosure! Everything from the supplies she used to build the city-scape background, the neon lights, and even how she turned this enclosure fully bioactive!
We also have a very special guest for this enclosure build! @Dakotahblueexotics drove all the way to Zen HQ to judge our new Tokay enclosure!

Very cool enclosure! If she's anything like my tokay girl, those vines will eventually need upgraded 😄 my girly is beefy and comes in at over 10 inches.
Oh, and for a name I call my girl Ella - it's short for Cruella. Though she's pretty sweet for a tokay.

Name for the Tokay should be zilla. Or kadotah. I love it it reminds me of godzilla in the midst of Tokyo. But for sure if you paint the foam with dry lock it will preserve it waterproof it and make it hard like a rock. I do that for all my enclosures and it works so well.

If the floral foam starts to get funky I'd say tinted Drylok (water proofing paint) would help preserve it. Very cool build ☺

I adore tokays!!! I got one as a month old baby like 3 years ago, and she’s actually super sweet!

When will screen doors start being used for the 2 by 2 by 4 enclosure. I want that for my chameleon, but I want the door to be screen
We are currently testing them, and hoping to have them available in the future!
@@zenhabitats do you know if it would be a replacement door I could buy in the future or if I would have to buy a whole new cage?

It surprisingly hasn’t been too bad so far! We also made it bioactive, so a lot of the job is done for us!
