Woo hoo. i bought a Mini 2 on a whim and keep learning new awesome things about that little beast. First was learning about the track follow features and now I just learned I'll be able to live stream. Sweet!

Quick Tip: It is not lag.. any livestream platform such as RUclips etc have about a 7 to 10 second delay. It's just the way it is
you can turn delay off in streaming app settings and/or in youtube settings there is also extra delay option
Great video. One question….do you have to keep the laptop open and on RUclips while your live streaming? I’ve done every step you said to the T but it’s like it starts the live and then something fails. Like the connection. And I’m in my house with wifi
Thanks for the video. Hello from phoenix, Arizona. I’m a little bit confused because I used to go live to you too with my van and three pro and all I had to do was touch RUclips. I didn’t have to enter in an address like this. Maybe in that case I wasn’t going live to my channel. I was just going live on RUclips? I’m not sure I haven’t flown in a while. I just ordered a mavic air 2S should come in a couple of days. I’ve got my part one07. I’ve got updated though as well. Because I’ve been out of flying drones for a while. Thanks for the video.
Awesome Video. Thanks! Just subscribed. I'm filming a music festival this summer and will run the drone through a live stream. Any thoughts on how to sync another channel and camera so that viewers watching the drone footage can hear the music from the bands? My sense is I would need two separate streams. Newer to this so any help is appreciated.

Is there a possibility to stream footage on RUclips with the drone and then switch live to the camera from the phone?
We are a small media company and it would mean to us that this option exists, maybe it has to be streamed first on a laptop (obs) and then on RUclips?

Great video, but one question: Do I have to have a computer with me to get onto RUclips to get the code? What if I'm out and about, and decide I want to fly live... how do I get this going if I don't have a computer? Or did I miss something?

Yes, you do.
I have the same comments as many others here. I can set up my livestream at home when on WIFI and actually testing the flight while seeing the video on youtube. I believe you need to set up the video live stream each time. However, you RTMP Address with secret passcode is permanent once you setup. My guess is I have to establish the video on YT first, then livestream from the drone just as I do at home.

Hi can we have the live video streaming from a drone to Microsoft teams call.
I am in dire need of connecting my dji mavic mini 2 to OBS for live streaming but there is no HDMI or USB-C video output built in to the controllers. I hope there is a workaround. Need Help!!!!

I've been wanting to do a livestream via my DJI Mini 3 and I've seen your video and others that talk about this method of doing a livestream.
When I attempted it, I got the livestream and mic icons, but the RUclips livestream never activated. Also, I'm curious if your phone picked up the audio?
Recently I've seen others post about using the "Prism Live" app to livestream. I tried it and it worked seamlessly and did in fact create a RUclips livestream. But I've yet to test it on my drone. Again, my question is about audio. Since we have to plug in the cable from the RC-N1 into our phone, there's no place to attach a lavalier mic.
Anyone have any experience with audio and livestream?

Did you determine if the audio you toggled in the video was coming from your drone or your voice? I'm looking for a way to use voice commentary with a drone livestream so that would be great if it was you talking being picked up. Thanks!
I don't think any DJI drones have mics do they? Pretty sure the mic being refered to is from the controller.
If you have a 360 camera attached to your drone you can hear the audio as the 360 has a microphone built into it! However, you can only hear the brrrzzzzzz from the blades! That sound is unbearable! 😬

Why can't they implement live streaming directly from Facebook or RUclips apps on a smart controller?

I think they did. I’ll keep you posted as soon as I update the fly app.
The only way I can is to interface the HDMI port to a Cam-Link then to my computer. The smart controller has a regular size HDMI port but the RC Pro utilizes the mini HDMI. It was a bit of a challenge but works quite nicely.
I wish DJI would get off their butts and gives us that capability however. They are all around it except for making it work…
I tried as I previously mentioned in my first post but it just became too ridiculous to even go on, hence why I just interfaced it directly into what I knew would work.

Yes, I believe you can set this to be an unlisted stream, where only those who have the link are able to view the feed.

Have you gone live on Facebook? The link you provided mentions nothing of a livestream key for facebook.

How can this be done from a remote location when not at home with pc?
Haven't tried that yet, but assuming that if you have cell service you would be able to set up a hot spot and run it off that?
i dont see any settings or menus in the dji fly app using my dji fpv drone… do you know if this works with the fpv drone ?
Hmm, I'm not sure! If your firmware is up-to-date, and you're not seeing it in the app, then I'm not sure it's available.

At this time, you can't stream through the DJI Fly app on the Mini 3.
Which controller do you have? The RC or the N1. The RC can't livestream

So we need a YT account to stream. I don't want to share my account with my neighbors so I guess I'll need to make a 2nd one to show them what I can see flying.

Don't believe it's currently possible.
Can this be done using Facebook?
You should be able to stream to any app that supports custom RTMP streaming. This includes FB, Instagram, and LinkedIn. A number of HTML5 embeddable media players will also ingest RTMP, giving you the chance to stream live to your own website.
@@doogyob I don't know how to get the RTMP key on my Facebook app on my cell phone. Every time I get it from my laptop it says something went wrong.

Yes, RUclips requires a minimum of 1,000 subscribers to live stream from the mobile app. It doesn't apply to live streaming using a webcam or desktop though.
