As a Kiwi I find it interesting to hear what it is that people like, or dislike, about NZ. Some things you like I admit to being surprised about like our road maintenance but other things I am not surprised about like our sense of humour and banter. NZ could really do with more positive people like your guys. I hope you continue to enjoy your NZ experience and our sometime quirky differences.

We just got on so well and helped each other out.We didnt hang out after hours because our friendship and brotherhood at work is all we needed. We made a great team.He always ensured I pronounced Afrikaans, cosa, zulu etc properly not that Ai was fluent. He told many stories of his country and the hardship and hard times there. He loves NZ and been here over 20 years.

Hi guys, I just wanted to ask if the Internal Audit is one of the open fields and what advice you would give for someone looking in that path in New Zealand. Looking forward to your input.

    • @Dunnstakenz

      @@Dunnstakenz Thanks for your reply.
I mean, do you perhaps know if one is likely to be employed if you have internal audit. Don't if I'm making any sense - are there opportunities for internal audit?

    • @Dunnstakenz

We’re not 100% sure about internal auditing specifically but check seek.com, trade me and the companies websites directly, for job listings.

This is so exciting! We wish you guys all the best. It’s very difficult to say since we don’t know exactly how much your husband and yourself are I’ll be earning. Trades are highly regarded and I’m sure your husband will be able to make good money. All the best!

A Kiwi here replying. My son is an apprentice plumber. There is a HUGE shortgage of qualified plumbers here. So many jobs! Look on Trade Me Jobs or Seek. I think it is a trade that our Immigration Department has on their list for green light jobs (to get a work visa). If you come to the South Island, you could live on one income more comfortably, or smaller cities or towns in the North Island. There are South Africans everywhere in NZ, so you will settle well wherever you choose to settle.
