"We have resolved an issue where tunneling creatures could pick a location that would prevent progression in "Echoes of the Past" in Update 1.7.36." This is great. Moving forward no one should have this issue.
I left the Warden's office to clear the shuttle bay. Wiped out all the bugs but then the Boss didn't appear. There were many tips for the PC with cheat codes but they didn't work for Xbox. Hopefully this'll help anyone in a similar situation. Being stuck like this is the worst.

Ive killed the boss. The door is open. I cannot board the shuttle. Where is this place where you can jump out
Not sure. My problem was trying to get the boss to pop out. There may be one of the smaller creatures still alive and trapped under the surface. Hope that helps.
Boss came out and is dead but ship ramp and opening to surface are closed for me as of 10/17/2023
Did you try walking around to see if maybe a smaller bug was stuck. Might not be the boss. Also check on bethesda's site. They ais they put a fix in for this problem. I hope you can get rolling again. It's so frustrating.
@@ActionRobotPunch Walked around for 3 hours looking shooting at the ground and at the ceiling (entire map) hoping to reveal the stuck Grylloba. This was after there fix and I am def updated…I’m not the only one. Thanx for the advice anyway…Look forward to playing again for sure after another patch or so.
Something different happened to me, the boss actually showed up, but then, after first encounter, it hides under the snow and never showed up again. Scanner and map show mission target abobe the door to leave the control room (going back to where I came from)... it seems the boos managed to get out of the map 😢
So, I'm stuck there, I don't know what to do, all my quick and auto saves are after thia happened, and the most recent save before is about 30 hours before! I don't know what to do 😢
Try what I do in the video. When I got the boss back sometimes he will go back under, but then get stuck under concrete or rocks. Maybe your boss got stuck. Crouch and try moving around shooting. See if he detects you. Don’t go back out that door. That’s what ruined all my auto saves. Let me know how it goes. I think you can do it.
Yeah bro loving this game but I'm freezing up all the time now. Wiping out Bugs is defiantly the solution. 😁

i kill the boss and my spaceship still doesnt open.
I read that sometimes there’s a little one left. All the bugs need to be killed. Try walking around using the same method, crouching, and see if you get detected while shooting. That indicates there’s something still there. Maybe a little one went back under and is stuck. I hope this helps.
