Great series of tutorials, I’ve watched a bunch of slap tutorials on RUclips and most teachers spend more time making jokes and playing cool riffs than actually showing you a close up of what is actually going on, this was both entertaining and very helpful, thanks a lot man.

So, I suppose you shouldn't use much force when hitting the string? I can get an acceptable tone on an open string somehow, but not if I press down on any fret, unless I got the string very weakly.

thats up to you but you should do this daily you wont regret, this is probably best exercise like ever for slap beginners and right hand precision, once you get this go on your left hand
DankTard keep practicing & pretty soon you'll be able to hit all of the strings with your thumb. It's not that hard really, just focus on the accuracy of your strike. Good luck!

Yes absolutely ! if you play everyday the "Crispiness" of a new set of strings will disappear within two weeks...sadly
