you can just allocate one set of the weapon set points. only thing to look out for is where you put your main weapon in the inventory screen and to make sure you dont accidently click the 'x' key because it'll swap the sets and the skill points.
if you use a controller on pc it will swap to the console interface. Poe 1 already switches to console ui if you play it with a controller. They have talked about maybe letting you move some parts of the interface around in an interview but they haven't said anything about it since then so not sure if they will or not. Im so used to having the health globes at the edges of the screen. I also never really look at them, i always look at the healthbar above my character's head :P I agree that D4 ui doesn't feel like it belongs in the game. For me the ui for D4 is bad. Parts of it feels like a mobile ui.
Weapon set point can only be aquired from skill books from quests. I think you will have a maximum of 10-20 points per weapon. The normal skill points are separate :) It also looks like every character starts at the center now. In poe 2 you can now hold down a keybind when hovering over a node on the passive tree and it will show you what changes on you character and skills and stats and if it has any effect. If a node does nothing for your character the way it is at that point it will tell you. That is how the are trying to remove some complexity but keeping the depth and systems by having lots of tooltips to explain how stuff works etc. So i guess if players dont understand now its because they don't read :P
When you get a Uncut skill gem and right click it you get the menu to choose the gem you want, when you hover over a skill in that menu it will now start playing a video showing the skill in action and a GGG dev explaining how the skill works. I have watched every interview so far that the devs have done the past 4-6months. There has been a lot of information about the game in them. Im thinking about maybe rewatching them and making of list of everything they have said/confirmed so far

@@oxfordkingreacts You mentioned orb of regrets, Don't know if they exist anymore. Respec now costs gold. Cheap during the campaign and a bit more expensive early endgame. When you get into the 80-90's it will be more expensive.

+orb of regrets still exists.
What i feel is that in the early game, you can use gold because in the end game, the skill point refund will scale depending on your level so it would not be cheap and that's the time you use orb of regrets.
