I think the blue numbers on the skill screen indicates that it has a level tier higher than its original level due to items. I think the staff gives a level to it's minions
Great observation on the gems in the inventory. I didn't even notice it at first lol. It's neat how each individual gem's cut it's own unique skill icon.
The marked that was set around 12:52 is bone sacrifice It skewers one of your skeletons in an altar empowering the rest of the minions. It's really cool

The number is blue because he has +1 to minions level I assume.
Yeah I was thinking the same while editing.
because that minion got +1 or 2 level from somewhere else not from gem.
