Hello Anna, there is other app w can use? i dont have a mac, and in my country is very difficult to have one. Instead i m thinking other options, do u know other?
Would I be able to use this If I only have a layout of the space?
Absolutely! Here are the ways to draw a space: you can draw spaces based on a floor plan / from scratch; create a rendering based on a computer model; use a photo; collect decor or furniture libraries for future projects; put collages together :)

What do you think about buying an iPad or a laptop for an abyss of interior design and a desire to learn design and self-study it through the available programs? Which is better, an iPad Air or a mid-performance laptop? Can you give me suggestions?
Architect and interior designer here; I would advise getting a laptop with decent specs because it is more useful in the long term and you could render your designs with laptop-only softwares. I use my iPad and Pencil as an extra tool and medium, instead of drawing on paper like I used to..

how do you determine if it is the right size?
Great point! Can not use this in real client’s project cos won’t be v accurate. In my opinion, It’s kinda useful for Just to show the look and feel at very early of concept design stage.
What ipad do you use? I'm in interior design school(just about to start) and I'm looking to buy an ipad for design and note taking
I have the iPad Air 2022 and it’s fantastic, hers might be the iPad Pro but either are fab 😄
