After traveling to other cities and states, Milwaukee isn't all that bad, still gets that old Milwaukee feeling
Dang bro the quality of your video has gotten way better over the past 6 months. Drone footage of downtown and the b roll of the neighborhoods was a very nice touch! Keep up the great work! 💪
Thanks Nate!! I have fun working on this, a creative break from this insane market! Congratulations to your new home BTW!!
@@MarcusMKE thank you sir! We'll see you again for the next investment property! =)
@@nathanielmartin6631 looking forward to it! If you have not done already and you have a minute please leave Kasey a review on Realtor or Zillow! I know she'd appreciate!!
Great content
Thanks Ross! How was the new build?
Great video! Great edit too
Thanks! That means a lot coming from you guys!!
@@MarcusMKE we’re just starting to dip our toes in the RUclips world. We would love to do a collaboration Video in the future If you’re ever interested😎
@@shutterzonemedia sure why not, depends on the idea!
Hello Markus, really great content! What do you think about Oak Creek, is it safe and nice neighborhood to live?
Just looked it up, Niche has it ranked #48 - it has a lot of A minus and B scores, look it up - I think totally worth checking out! On my list for the next months to make a video!
@@MarcusMKE Thank you very much!
Gurkan Tas I am a 35 year old male living in the Milwaukee area seeking friends. Was wondering if you could hit me up on Facebook. Would love to grab lunch with you sometime
Everyhouse in California has 3-6 cars. All the streets are parked cars. Its so dirty and dangerous. This town looks like a piece of heaven 🎉
Thank you, but to be fair Milwaukee has it's issues well, just like every city. However traffic is not one of them, because the city grew after automobiles bacme popular in the 1950s and so it has been built with cars and parking in mind.. I don't think they were planning on this many potholes though ;-)
Nice city
Having 60k-65k per Annum Will be sufficient enough to run a normal life in Milwaukee? What's the average Salary to live in Milwaukee?
How is the HOA in these neighborhoods ?
A lot of the houses you see in the video are not in an HOA; only if they are in a subdivision and there are common spaces that need to be maintained. My subdivision is small, only 7 houses, but we have to hire lawn service for the shared areas and the entrance, tree service, and pond service and insurance - total of $1,100 per house per year - as an example
Yeah, every place you listed is a well-off income wise area. Unfortunately, a lot of actual Milwaukee has gotten very bad with crime. I know; I lived in Milwaukee and surrounding areas since 1952. I moved to Florida in 1993. I would never go back. Milwaukee is so crime-ridden and run down, that I would be afraid to do a wander to places I remember. It's a shame. You have to pick a "pocket" to live in, which is usually expensive. Not everyone can afford those areas.
lol yea because white flight sucks all the wealth out of the city even though their lives in the suburbs are entirely dependant on the city to survive.
True. These areas are like Stepford and VERY white. NO diversity.
I suggest the Village of Eagle in SW Waukesha county. Population 1700, average home price around $300K. 40 miles from Miller park. We have no traffic lights. Think of a real life Mayberry.
That's a bit too far out to be considered a suburb.
To have things be comparable, only communities in Milwaukke
Wheres all the cars ? Looks so inviting. I have to go though adult gang members just to get to my front door.
How is caledonia?
not top 12 but pretty good and also affordable, smaller market - there are a few others around worth considering like Franklin or Greendale. What makes you ask?
@MarcusMKE possibly career relocation that would put me in racine for work. I would be looking to reside outside any city though.
@@actZR900 okay, that would give you a lot of options to the west within 10-20 minutes. Would it be to soon to set up an MLS Login for you so you can browse? BTW - just saw your username referring to a Kawasaki - I spent the last 2 weeks on a KTM 890 in Patagonia, absolutely epic roads ;-)
@MarcusMKE not quite. Alot of loose ends but just doing my due diligence at this time to understand the options when and/or if the relocation happens.
I do know exactly what youre talking about with bikes , i dont ride motorcycles anymore but that name was actually a snowmobile i had about 15 years ago. Haha
@@actZR900 cool. Let me know when you are ready, we usually start by out with what you are looking for and then helping you narrow down the list of potential neighborhoods, talk about the how-to, the process step by step, financing, selling your current home, timing and logistics etc. My email is m.auerbach@kw.com
Olá. Sou brasileiro. Tenho uma amiga americana que mora aí .2223 N.45th street. Mas infelizmente perdi o contato com ela. Nome dela é Saralice primeau
We normally love your videos, but the title of this one is very misleading. This video is about the best Milwaukee suburbs, not the best Milwaukee neighborhoods. We wished you could change the title, and then make another video about the best Milwaukee neighborhood (as in within the city of Milwaukee).
Good point; done! It was a bit of an oversimplification; like when you are from Skokie and someone from NY asks you where you from, you just say Chicago.. But that's actually a really good idea for a video!!
I mean... when you name literally every suburb of milwaukee lol
Almost LOL, we count about 35 in total, 19 are in Milwaukee county alone..
@@MarcusMKE Although I think it's pretty loose to count anything outside of the county as a suburb. It was a joke 🤣
@@SuicidelG yes I get it 😄 People always give me sh#t about calling all of it "Milwaukee" what is technically an MSA and has a lot of different municipalities. But it doesn't matter if you are from Brookfield or Mequon, if you go to FL and someone asks you where you are from the answer is always going to be MKE. Thanks for watching though!
Very disappointed the south suburbs do not meet your approval.
Well, it's actually a ranking by Niche.com and not by me. But your are right, no south burb included. Which ones are your favorites and why?
You can't touch Theinsville for under 400k in 2023.
Yeah, anything below 400 is a major project.. check Grafton instead. starts at 250
This list showed no love to the Southside
I know! What are your top 3 for the Southside?
Oops!
Only communities in Milwaukee county should have been included. Those in Ozaukee county, etc. are a different circumstance and quite a bit more expensive.
Many who live in Ozaukee, Waukesa, Washington counties criticize Milwaukee county and city, yet they drive back and forth to make a living because most of them could not make a living in the suburban counties.
Yeah, it's complicated and certainly debatable, we have 19 municipalities including the City of Milwaukee, but we when we travel and being asked where we are from we all reply Milwaukee, regardless if we live in Brookfield, Tosa or downtown. So when I say Milwaukee, it's always the MSA, the metro area. That's what you would circle when you look on an image on Google earth, the municipal borders are not visible. Property taxes are higher in Milwaukee County, that's why property values are often higher in the surrounding areas, the monthly cost includes lower taxes. But then you have more time and money for commuting back and forth. What type of criticism do you hear? About taxes or something else?
Most of them are in Milwaukee County.
I would disagree with most of these. If anyone is interested to know where to really move to let me know.
Very interested in your take - let us know!
