That was fantastic. We bought a new zoa the other day. Now we have the grand total of two. It seems to be ok. Your garden is wonderful and colourful. It’s something for us to aim for. Thank you so much.
Began a garden with 8 Zoas that I picked up at a swap here in Houston a few weeks back , they’re looking great ! Dino outbreak took the colors out of a few frags but got them in control and they’re back to looking great ! Still working on fully opening up a few frags but they’re looking amazing !
My favorite so far at the wwc aoi Zola, I recently purchased them from wwc, I’m in the LA area on the lookout for a little shops of horror frag! Very nice Tank you have here!
Beautiful tank! I started my tank a few months ago. Just got my zoa garden setup. I used AOI, laffy taffy, Rasta, cat eyes, nirvana, bam bams, eagle eyes, lasor lemon, Purple Hearts. Can’t wait until they start to grow into a garden like that. Makes all the money I just spent feel worth after watching this. How long dose it usually take for a frag that has 1-2 polyps to start growing more?
New to the hobby and your channel. Absolutely stunning display! I just purchased a radioactive dragon eyes zoa and I really hope I am successful of having a great zoa garden someday.
@@ZoaTankBoyz thanks dude, if they have a tenancy to melt, how did you get them in your tank with no melt issues, anything in particular you follow. If your future videos will.cover this, that would be great, I'll wait for your future content
Great looking tank. You are my inspiration to grow zoas. BTW, how do you prevent the zoas from growing over each other? Do you have to trim often to keep them on colony by themselves?
tank looks awesome. i curious how you get them to have such great color? i use reef roids along with coral nutrition, i cant seem to find the right lighting settings to get them to look like that

Just getting started with our very first reef tank (26 gallon Red Sea Max Nano Peninsula) after having many freshwater planted tanks that we still have running. Planning to get a bunch of different types of Zoanthids as the primary coral in the tank, along with some other soft corals and LPS corals that are a bit easier to start out with. Just started the tank about 1 week ago with 24 lbs of live rock and about 10 small hermit crabs. Planning to add a pair of clownfish this weekend and was wondering when you think we might be ready to add our first Zoas, and which types would you recommend? Already have some nitrates in the tank one week in, which tells me it’s fully cycled & planning to do weekly 5 gallon water changes. Prefer very colorful Zoas that are easier to keep & with growth patterns that aren’t too fast or slow, since we don’t want them taking over the tank, but also don’t want to wait a year for 1 polyp to turn into 4-5 polyps. Would love some of your suggestions & advice!
Your tank looks amazing!🔥 what’s your lighting schedule are you running?I have the same tank and lightning as you and you’d love it too pop like yours🙌
Very nice zoa collection. How do you keep the colors so vibrant? I have a few colonies and they have grown quite a bit and look healthy but their colors look dull. The colors of my scrambled eggs look nowhere as vibrant as yours.
Nice videos bro. how do you have such great flow and yet your sand doesn't look all pushed to one side? could you show everything you use for flow and what grain sand you're using?
Is that a green corris wrasse ? If so I got one too and they are a beautiful fish such a bright green there are kinda aggressive though by far one of my favorite fish
Alright man.. Easiest zoa's for a newer tank with nothing in it. Tanks 3 months old. Two Radion XR15 Pro G5's for light. I want a garden and decided that's the path i am headed.
They should open either way nitrates and other stuff affect the size color and how quick they grow. I’d say check ur phosphate or any bacteria like cyano will close them up
Great video guys 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
Beautiful ❤

Awesome, that crack zoa is expensive!! Hope you share some parameters you found zoas love. For me, I've found iodine and magnesium key components
Iodine is important I dose lugos- the kraks are awesome grow quick but have a tendency to melt if you move then to another tank imo
