i appreciate the fact that your for a ceasefire, but still your both siding the whole situation there's clearly an imbalance of power one is an occupying power while the other has been occupied for the last 76 years.
thats fine that you see it that way but the point of this is to speak to others like myself who have grown up with a certain idea of Israel ... frankly we can all debate the bigger picture ...but this is about getting people to see that a ceasefire is needed immediately ... and yeah i do think there are two sides here in spite of the fact that there is an imbalance of power...this is very complictated..and thats not a copout... its a fact
@rosenbergradio It's not complicated. Reckoning with your feelings on the matter may be complicated, and I respect that, but the reality isn't complicated. Tens of thousands of civlian casualties says it's not complicated.
My thing is why should we care when our own country isn't right. Yet, our country is supporting a side when it has nothing to with us. The US should be worried about home before they worry about other countries. Tupac said it best, "They got money for wars but can't feed the poor"
@MarlonMuzic still doesn't excuse funneling trillions of dollars there when that money could be used to fix so many problems right here. Do that and then go help those guys
Thank you for posting on youtube, Peter! I consume your content more on the ESPN app, and have done so regularly for years. Just discovered the podcast with Beadle, and I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna carve out the time. Little 5-15 min videos here are probably the fast track to my attention span. The Gaza situation is very complex, upsetting and tragic. We are all brothers and sisters, it is horrific what our species does when it loses sight of that. A true dilemma, I don't see any practical/actual solution. Wishing you and yours all the best and continued success.
It's not about who was there first, it's about who is dying there NOW and how do we stop them from dying now. The answer is a ceasefire. You can go and talk about the historical rights of this or that somewhere else. This isn't the space or timeframe of that topic, and it hasn't been since others started living there.
Bravo Peter 🎉🎉🎉🎉 excellent words proof of u
Facts. Too many people taking about wanting peace and then taking sides in war.
Just scrolling and this popped up in my feed. Agreed.
Damn good for you to say this.
