Not really. Clockwork isn't in *Glitch in Time* that much. He gets offed pretty early after Phantom (that's how everyone refers to Future Danny in this comic) absorbs him. Danny's decision to become the bridge between the ghost world and the human world was entirely his own. Prior to cementing his resolve, his powers had been steadily weakening, as he no longer had any reason to be Amity Park's sole protector, since ghost hunting became a more widespread profession after Phantom Planet. His initial purpose, at least as he saw it, was protecting the city, but when he started losing that, his ghost half began to weaken as well, thus proving that a ghost's strength is directly linked to the strength of said ghost's resolve. Ultimately, Danny himself decides that he wants to help humans and ghosts better understand each other by becoming the liaison who can connect both groups. And with this decision, Danny receives a massive power-up as well. After the timeline resets, and Phantom Planet is undone, Danny presumably regains his original motivation as well.
I was kinda hoping to see Danny go on a space adventure for a comic run or even a season when it was still going. Think about it, he always wanted to be an astronaut and Vlad was in space, it could’ve worked, we even could’ve gotten a redemption arc with Vlad which I think would’ve been cool.
The ATLA comics are being uploaded officially on Webtoons or so I've heard. There's also a slice of life Batman comic that's DC approved there apparently
@@HazeEmry really webtoons huh no wonder it's lacking in the scars of war and losses that the books and show has really weak stuff but then again at least my question about zuko's mom and and I learned something that is really a big eye opener thanks.
@@lauraborabee903 i know this might sound harsh, but it's a blessing he's not a part of this. His editors for the original show had to fight to fix a LOT of the issues the show had, and it wouldn't be so near and dear to so many hearts had he had his original vision. From what I heard, it would have been an entirely different show. Plus his behavior the last many years are not good either from what ive heard through the grapevine. Going by Danny’s new drive/goal I wonder which ghosts he’ll try explaining this to first. Ones he’s already befriended, one of his enemies? I’m hoping for some new ghosts to be introduced in these graphic novels.
Why do I feel like this was an attempt to gain popularity to bring back the show? In truth I kinda like the simple idea of hey everyone knows you’re a human and a ghost and you saved the world from a split timeline version of yourself.
lol but if you close your eyes it almost seems like nothing changed at all and if you close your eyes and it almost seems like we’ve been here before😂😂😂😂
The issue wasn't Butchhimself, but the network. They paid for a certain kind of show, so even if Butch happened to have wanted to make things more serious he likely couldn't. Not that I think he did, but again, they expected a certain type of show
If I had a penny every time a Nickelodeon character becomes the bridge between worlds, I'd have 2 pennies. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice
Phantom fans who prefer seeing Danny and his pals return for a revival continuation help further the chances via signing and sharing out the “Bring Back Danny Phantom” petition now. Just avoid the donating part.
I know there’s the novel “A Glitch in Time” but I’m kinda disappointed on how it ended, and it remains debatable if the novel is officially canon or not to the show’s continuity due to a few errors in its attempt to callback to the season 3 finale events. Not to mention Danielle aka Dani Phantom was left out of the action.
@@lbtz3192I get the fact how the ending Retcon phantom planet but something tells me that Nickelodeon wasn’t to keen on keeping Danny’s identity public and it was pretty unfair how Danielle wasn’t in that book but if you and everyone don’t like the book just stick to fan comics. @@Ken22475 Oh, I’ve seen them already. Not bad, but would have prefer seeing a revival for the show. Plus, I would have liked the novel better if they had Danny’s parents remember his double persona, I mean they were present when Dark Danny was defeated and left weakened, yet they didn’t time travel with him, Sam, Jazz, and Tucker when Clockwork took them back in time to give Danny his two choices to fix and stable reality. I mean they already forgotten Danny’s revelation twice first from “Ultimate Enemy” when Clockwork took Danny back in time after Dark Danny’s first defeat, then they had their memories wiped in the end of “Reality Trip”. I mean why again have them forget?
Yeah. The amount this comic copied from Avatar the last Airbender is really not great. And poor Evil Danny got done SO BAD. And Vlad. Oof. This thing was terrible all around. 😂

So this does feed into the theory that Clockwork is grooming Danny to be the next Ghost King.
Oh you mean fanfiction?

Yea the creator of the show had said if they’d continued they would’ve explored aliens called “The Faceless” with vlad in space storyline
Man the promotion marketing must have crap back then cause i never heard of the avatar last airbender comics or this one.

Aaaah... So essentially ghosts are Family friendly versions of Curses from JJK, got it.
To be fair, it was a kids cartoon.
so, ghost, and the ghost zone are essentially less chaotic forms of the eye of chaos and demons from 40K? WTF
Yeah pretty much...definitely explains a few villains like the dragon princess, Lunch Lady, the nerd, etc
But why box ghost

I have a copy of the graphic novel Danny Phantom A Glitch In Time. Really good.
I cant wait to see what A Glitch in Time brings us next!
I wish they reboot this show from this comic
Love the editing on this one, really clean & looks great 👌
And he didn’t even mention clockwork bringing evil Danny back in a clone body for Vlad to raise (I’m pretty sure)

So the danny phantom universe is the same as the Warhammer 40k universe. And danny is a haif human pyker and haif worp entity
That’s crazy!
This is so cool
I'm glad vlad was given a chance to be an actual character with an arc.
Also wow I was right about the nature of ghosts

Does that mean he can technically fight Ichigo?
Yes
Do not put strawberries🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓 on your fruit loops
So wouldn't that make danny technically the avatar since the avatar is a bridge bewteen the spirit relem and the human world.
So they decided to pull what Korra did in her comic but they succeeded instead?
I’ve been trying to rewatch the final but I can’t find it. Anyone know what’s it’s called and where to watch?
Idk when i heard clockwork i thought they meant ben 10
Another Time loop childhood series (Ben 10 - Omniverse) why!?
Lil bro is not korra 💀
