His ghost half is also Danny just with ghost powers he's 2 entities with the same mind and soul and also? He's a teenager with all those emotions so imagine having the power to do something about it
1. Danny seems to get more powerful the more beat up he gets. Probably why he unlocked the Ghostly Whail much earlier than Dark Danny. 2. Danny's ghost half didn't just become evil. He simply represented a large amount of Danny's emotions and trauma. Being painfully ripped apart probably didn't feel good, and there were only two people in the room to punish... 3. The recent graphic novel actually touches on Dark Danny a bit and his motivations. Danny had a second chance. Dark Danny never got any support in his timeline.
Well it’s not so much that his ghost side was evil, but overly heroic (as proved in a separate episode where the two split). However backed by the pain and rage of losing his family he took a more…drastic approach and tried to de-power Vlad and take something from him by absorbing his power (seeing no other way to be rid of it, or thinking it would power him up with no cost). However that backfired *bad* and the fusion between the two aspects resulted in the evil future Danny we see. Vlad’s aspects literally feeding his darker aspects, including his hatred for his own weakness; from cheating to not being able to save them. Hence why he unleashed a special horror onto his human half.
According to one of the original writers, Dark Danny was going to return in season 3 because season 3 was supposed to go in a much darker direction. But Bitch(Butch) Hartman had other plans.
Also both Clockwork, the time traveling ghost that enables this little moral test for Danny. along with future Danny are both very well voice acted if I'm correct it was David Carradine who voiced Clockwork

While then implications that Danny loses everyone and separates his ghost self with the implication that even vlad was like honestly it’s better to not even talk about what happened to the human side of Danny. Like it was dark and ominous that the legit ultimate enemy was a version of himself that was evil. Just again crazy because as a kid I liked this episode but it flips the switch and gets really dark.

Plus, Danielle aka Dani Phantom was left out of the action and she has yet to be adopted into Danny’s family and become part of his team as Hartman had hoped to have done ages ago.
The most sinister thing about Dark Danny is that even if the last episode of DP showed Vlad getting trapped in space and, in consequence, Dark Danny never existing (since Dark Danny is a fusion of Danny and Vlad's phantom selves), since he is trapped by Clock, he now exists outside of time, even in Vlad is stranded in space forever.

I would have to disagree on the title; we didn't get the comradery with Valerie and Danny's ghost form until season 3. I know Butch says he can't write romance but he had all the right beats there. Even having her tell him she needed a break to focus on ghost hunting was fine. I really wanted to see him tell her himself (because I don't remember him doing so.) But shoe-horning Sam in wasn't needed. They spent the whole first season saying they weren't an item. The MC doesn't need to get together with the first member of the opposite sex introduced into their life on screen. But one question I have always had: will Danny age? I know Butch said a reboot would have Danny older but when you look at the other ghosts, they don't age past when they died. Pointdexter, for example, is the same. I would argue Johnny and Kitty don't age. So will Danny age? Will he age slower? We don't have enough detail to know if Vlad actually aged or if he had his hair change color. The time we see old Vlad is after his ghost half is taken out of him.

and best villan
I would have to disagree on the title; we didn't get the comradery with Valerie and Danny's ghost form until season 3. I know Butch says he can't write romance but he had all the right beats there. Even having her tell him she needed a break to focus on ghost hunting was fine. I really wanted to see him tell her himself (because I don't remember him doing so.)
But shoe-horning Sam in wasn't needed.
I won’t lie I actually wanted the evil Danny to win in the end his design was badass
I agree, I love the ultimate enemy. My favorite 😊 Aye the ultimate enemy was so good that it had toys from Burger King and a game that I still have on gameboy
Ehh, we got Danielle out of it, so it isn't all bad
I always thought it was a movie lol
I like the nerd ghost one
