I made these ribs this afternoon!!! As always, I followed the recipe exactly and these were the best ribs I've ever had in my life! To anyone who has not followed the recipes, your missing out!
Kristen - I use a butter knife to slide under membrane, then insert finger to pull away membrane cleanly.. Also, start in middle of slab. Thanks for recipe.
Love this tutorial! I have made baby back ribs using this recipe and my 6qt Instant Pot perhaps eight or so times and the result has always been perfect. Making ribs right now!😊👍🏼
Thank you for this!! I've used this recipe and the rub for baby back ribs, spare ribs, and chicken. Everything turns out amazingly tender with great flavor and color (after being chucked in the airfryer and broiled). You've made me a huge hit with the fam. 👍
This rib recipe and instructional video is amazing! Everyone loves these ribs whenever I make them. Making a double batch today so we have more leftovers! Thank you! I love your channel and recipes.
You have just changed my rib making life!! I did need to make a few adaptations but nothing drastic. I used sliced apple I had frozen after apple harvest with water in place of apple juice. My gosh this recipe is a hit! Thanks so much for sharing.
Hi, Thank you so much. Your ribs definitely looked more than yummy! I will definitely try these in my brand new Instant Pot Pro 8qt I just received for my yes 80th birthday. I am curious though why when searching baby back rib recipes most of the recipes called for 4 or 6 cups of apple juice & about 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar. I thought my goodness that is a lot of apple juice, Just wondering if you might know why the difference? Also can these ribs be frozen after cooking and if so, before the last step of putting on the barbeque sauce or after? I am having a big event and given I have a lot to contend with want to prepare ahead. Thanks again!I
Hi Deena! Well happy birthday to you! I don't recommend cooking the ribs IN the apple juice as some recipes do, as that results in a boiled flavor. Hence less broth. You can freeze the ribs, but I would recommend doing that before adding the BBQ sauce. Once defrosted, coat with BBQ sauce and then broil. Enjoy!
My family loves to serve potato salad or oven baked fries. Here are the recipes: amindfullmom.com/instant-pot-potato-salad/ and amindfullmom.com/easy-baked-oven-fries/
Wonderful presentation and directions on setting instant pot. That's what makes first time use scary. Will do this tomorrow! Any way u can make a video on ribs just like this but using like dr pepper or something as a brine ?
I am so glad this helped you feel more confident to use your Instant Pot. And thank you for the suggestion for future videos :) If you would liket to brine or marinate your ribs, simply place in brine liquid or marinate (like dr pepper) for 12-24 hours before following these instructions for cooking :)
Before you try this, make sure you find your favorite BBQ sauce first. It ain't easy. Most stored bought sauces taste really low. Try KC Masterpeice + Sambal Olek. That worked for me.
It should say right on the package. Baby back ribs come from the top of the rib cage, near the loin and backbone, while spare ribs come from the bottom, near the belly.
I have not experimented to be able to tell you. If you are just looking to crisp up the ribs after pressure cooking, cook for 3-5 minutes at 400 degrees.
No, it wasn't. This is an older video and I have since cut out a lot of talking. But I appreciate you recognizing that. you can also just delete your comment in the future :)
came for help stayed because she said liquid smoke, this white chick is doin her best stuff folks please pay attention dont dismiss her seasoning directions cook longer for fall apart ribs if she said only salt and pepper I wouldve left😂🤣
I am sorry about that! I will be honest in saying that I often wrap up the videos fast without taking a bite--but I always test my food serveral times and always eat what I cook.
Made this a couple days ago. OK, but not super tender. I wonder if I cooked too long, or too short? I used 35min. Hmm.. these were not the best, I am sorry to say. They were not the worst, either. But.. average. Sorry. 🤨

I am SO SO happy to hear you enjoyed so much. It brings me great joy to bring these recipes to others.
I made these tonight, first time using an instant pot, they sure did indeed "fall off the bone" and tasted amazing. Thank You very much.
You are so welcome! I am thrilled to hear you enjoyed the ribs.

And thanks for the tip!
Serrated knife. Secret is using paper towel to pull it off, otherwise too slippery.
Love this tutorial!

Thanks mom. I needed a quick n dirty recipe for my first shot at ribs.
I’ll look for the liquid smoke next time I buy some ribs.
You will do great making ribs for the first time!

Very mouth watering... I'll hopefully try this as I'm a big IP user....
I hope you do Pete! I also hope you are staying well!
@@AMindFullMom Still doing ok, thanks for your concern. I hope you and your family are also doing well....
Instead of apple juice I use beer and it really gives them a nice smoky flavor especially if you use an amber or IPA
Thanks for sharing!
Oh
It’s ON! Doing this today!
Enjoy!
Would I use the same cook times if cooking two racks of ribs together in a 6 qt IP?
Yes!
@@AMindFullMom Thank you! Everything turned out great today, perfectly tender delicious ribs:)
@@la196 Wonderful :)
My go to recipe for baby backs
I LOVE hearing that!

I agree, sauce is key!
This sounds so delish we looove ribs!!! This is the next recipe of yours I will try out to surprise my family.
Hope you enjoy--and your family appreciates the surprise :)
👍🐿👍 thank you for the video.
You bet
I like how you stated 25 minutes for baby back ribs and 35 for spare ribs. A lot of videos leave that information off . Thx ☺️
Happy to help! I try to give as much information as I can :)
@@AMindFullMom 😇
How do you know the difference between Baby Back Ribs and Spare Ribs. I thought there were only Pork Ribs and Beef Ribs.
It should say right on the package. Baby back ribs come from the top of the rib cage, near the loin and backbone, while spare ribs come from the bottom, near the belly.
How long using Air Fryer?
I have not experimented to be able to tell you. If you are just looking to crisp up the ribs after pressure cooking, cook for 3-5 minutes at 400 degrees.
In the 15 minutes after it has cooked, we don't even turn the knob from "sealing" to "venting", correct?
Correct :)
@@AMindFullMom Thanks. I made these last night and OMG 🥰💃🏽. VERY yummy!
Thrilled you enjoyed! @@natashabrasfield5086
I remove the membrane before seasoning the ribs
I do as well!
Followed to the letter, and number. A bit drier that I like nd could had more flavor. Needed Cumin for that rich, BBQ flavor.
Hmm, it shouldn't be dry. Be sure to do a natural pressure release. And I do recommend finishing with BBQ sauce.
Can I use beer instead of apple juice, I totally thought it was beer for this recipe lol
That would work great Ashley!
It’s snowing I plan on making without the onion powder
Stay warm and enjoy Tiffany!
They were finger looking good!
@@tiffanysteen1845 Awesome!
whole racl for 25 minutes..? is it enough? i want my ribs falling out of its bones... lol
Yes, the instant pot works SO SO fast!!! But feel free to increase the time to 30 minutes.
Sorry that wasn't very nice.
No, it wasn't. This is an older video and I have since cut out a lot of talking. But I appreciate you recognizing that. you can also just delete your comment in the future :)

Lmao right on with that salt n pepper.
If they're so good why doesnt she take a real bite?
I am sorry about that! I will be honest in saying that I often wrap up the videos fast without taking a bite--but I always test my food serveral times and always eat what I cook.

What type of ribs did you have? Spareribs or Baby back? Baby back only needs 25 minutes. And always be sire to do a full pressure release
@@AMindFullMom Spare ribs. I've made these before, fall off the bone. Might have been tough piece of meat. Eh well. I've moved on to chili.
@@carroll6 So sorry! Sometimes the meat is just not good
Blah blah blah
