This is the best video hands down for ribs. This guy deserves a nobel prize for making it. Of the other videos this one is the best hands down. I have been using this for about 7, 8 years but lot of the time i forget how long to cook and what temp for the oven because i try to avoid eating this delicious addiction. It is literally one of the best tasting foods on earth and im trying to keep my figure. 2 tips. If you dont have, cant get, or dont want to pay for apple cider then just use all apple juice. also if you want to make it easier and less buttons last night i did instant pot 35 minutes and immediately quick release that was the only difference other than all apple juice. The bone pull-back was perfect to the millionth of an inch and the ribs stayed as one using tongs and a big spatula. Baby Ray's honey hickory sauce nothing else. All said and done it was totally picturesque like out of an advertisement. It could not have tasted any better. Some people will want that smoke and yes that would be nice but honestly not worth it at all. If you were to compare this to competition ribs side by side it really would be a toss up IMO. And yet this is literally one of the easiest things that there is to make. Also i tried using rootbeer and that method is no good. not a good flavor. just stick with apple juice and cider if u can get it.
Everytime I want to make babyback ribs in my IP, I always come back to this video - Its a great recipe, easy, and delicious. I've made these a dozen times over 4 years now... and I always rewatch this video as a refresher on what ingredients I need and how to prepare before I start making my ribs again.... as I am right now. Thanks again for your excellent content.
ya i been doing it almost as long as the video has been out and i too forget the time to set it for and temp to bake at the end. I did 35 min and quick release the other day and the pull back was perfect and end up being picturesque with sweet rays honey hickory. Also dont experiment with rootbeer that was no good IMO. and if you dont have cider just use only juice.
I know I'm late to the conversation but I tried this per the recipe with two variations: I applied honey and a dry rub to the ribs. I then let them marinate for 30 minutes before placing them in the pot. Thank you so much for the inspiration. We were going to put half in the freezer for later. They won't make it. The ribs are awesome!
Omg, wow! This is such a perfect way to do ribs! What a winner! I had already put rub on my ribs for several hours from one of the most popular pork tenderloin recipes on the internet called "Island Pork Tenderloin" from Epicurious. The flavor is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Here's a shortcut if you want a rub: 2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon chili powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon Then I was searching for a way to cook my ribs with my new IP. Your method seemed like it would produce wonderful results. I unfortunately didn't have any apple juice so I subbed orange juice and followed everything else to a T. And by the way, I had no idea you were supposed to remove that stuff from the back of the ribs... thank you! Let me tell you, it took everything in me not to "sample" the ribs when they were done before I cooked them with sauce. They came out heavenly and the broth leftover was so fragrant and tasty that I jarred it for later. The 10 minutes @400 with the SBRAY sauce was the finishing magic.... amazing! This was so so so unbelievable and I am SO HAPPY I found your video!!!! Try the rub and the OJ, it's magnificent!!!
I have made these a dozen times over the course of several years now. By far the easiest and best inside the house way I have found to do ribs! Shout out to the creator! There are few recipes that I go back over an over again but this one has stayed in steady rotation! In fact its on the menu again tonight!!!! Thanks so much for a great recipe and you did a great job showing start to finish expectations! Well done, sir!!
After seeing so many comments about 32 minutes being too long, I decided to cook them at 30 and I put them in the oven at 400 for only 10 minutes per instructions...man, they turned out so delicious! they were not overcooked at all! I think that putting them in the oven for only 10 minutes is key here. just wonderful!!
Awesome Karleen !!! Excellent I'm so glad that your ribs came out good, that's fine if you take a few minutes away that's not a big deal at all! I think it's great that you come up with your own method, I'm glad I love you to some delicious ribs. Thank you so much for coming back and giving an update!!! Great to hear from you again, sorry for the delayed response but very busy week. But I'm so happy everything came out great!!! I'm actually making these for my mom tomorrow for Mother's Day lol ... Talk to you soon! Thank you so much~ Jason
I did this and it was amazing. I'm actually only back watching the video as a refresher as I'm doing this again tonight after about 5 month from having it initially.
Is there anything this amazing device can’t do? I don’t think so. This thing should win a Nobel cooking prize! No a academy award! Person of the decade or hell SOMETHING!!
This has to be one of the best hosts ever. He is in love with his food and you can see him get lost in sweet memories of the last time he ate ribs. Love it.
Dude, I got my Instant Pot today and this was the first thing I attempted. Holy crap, these were seriously the tastiest, tenderest ribs I've ever had! Thanks for posting this! mmmmmmmmm
Hey Todd ! Well done bro ! I'm so happy for you, I'm sure you did an amazing job ! That's exactly the point of the video; simple and delicious! and you Rocked it ! ~ You are very welcome and I do appreciate the time you took to let me know that you had success - comments like those make my day! Hey hope you subscribe , I will be doing some more recipes with the Instant Pot! Great to Hear from you my friend! ~ Jason
Not sure why people are so negative with these electric pressure cookers . I don't have this exact model electric pressure cooker but it performs as advertised. I made ribs in my pressure cooker with slightly different preparation from this video but had the same results. These random trolls are wrong electric pressure cookers are safe, convenient and make delicious food. Thanks for the video I will try my ribs next time with your braising liquid. Just used water when I made my ribs.
longevityvst Instant Pot is my first pressure cooker. I think people are concerned about safety. But the modern day pressure cooker is super safe, super quick and the food is the greatest. Check out my Instant Pot walk through - Gives a solid look at the operation and safety: ruclips.net/video/ObZXyc2pyao/видео.html
Made this recipe again today. Since I didn't have any apple juice, I substituted pineapple juice. ( 4 cups p/a juice plus 1 cup apple cider vinegar). Turned out just as good as the original recipe.
If you don't like your ribs to be falling apart like they are in this video, just cook them a little less time. Common sense right? I personally like 25 minutes and some people like down to 15 minutes. Also, I just use an inch of water in the bottom and do a dry rub on the ribs for the pressure cooker. Works great. Sauce them when out of the cooker, into a hot oven for desired time and they're great every time. Great video sir!
Holy crap sir this is one of the best things I've ever made, thank you for the recipe! Only thing I did differently was a dry rub of Meat Church Honey Hog 1/2 & Honey Hog Hot 1/2 (no I don't work there etc) and let it sit for a couple hours in the fridge. Was able to jam 5+ lbs of baby backs in the Instant Pot. Freakin' incredible!! Meat candy....
That’s awesome Matt, I’m really glad that your ribs came out awesome. I think it’s great that you add your own touches to the method that I said in the video. Sounds amazing buddy ! Thanks so much for watching hope you subscribe for more videos as a release seven. All the best to you, Thank you so much ~Jason
Wow thank you for this! We watched this video last night and I literally ran out in the rain today and bought an Instant Pot and the ribs and juice and I made ribs for my husband and 2 friends. We loved them! My friends are buying an Instant Pot tomorow! We had to pause and rewind several times while making the ribs because none of us has ever used a pressure cooker before. My friends husband said "He's a cool guy, I like him". Thanks for the video!

I’m so glad you had great success with your Instant Pot Ribs and you and your husband loved them so much... Thanks so much for letting me know!!! Great Job Superstar !!!! - Thank you ! ~ Jason
Costco sells racks of ribs, three in a package. Your recipe has my dinner guests asking for them. I'll probably do 45 minutes. We're doing a SURVIVOR house party tonight...like the TV show. They will LOVE them! Thank you so much for the recipe!!!
Couldn't sleep, happened to watch this, now I'm hungry! I'm thinking of getting up, driving to Walmart to pick up some ribs at 4AM. Thanks for the delicious early morning wake up call.
I have made this recipe numerous times. The ribs are always fall off the bone and moist. The only thing I do in addition to the basic procedure is to smoke my ribs for about an hour and a half on my electric smoker before I put them in the Instant Pot. Fantastic. Thank you Jason.
I did this. I personally like to take five minutes off the clock. I found them to dry if they cook to fall off the bone. I rather have them on my grill for that extra time. That’s just me. I still think this is a great video.
Great to have you back again , thank you so much for letting me know how much you enjoy your instant pot ribs! That’s awesome!!! Hope all is well. Great to hear from you , enjoy 😊 !!! Thank you! ~Jason
I am going to make these again today! Just stopped in to review the recipe and get psyched! Awesome fall off the bone ribs! When my sister got her instant pot, she raved about this recipe! Thanks for posting this!
Careless about the negative comments. The base recipe is awesome and works perfectly dude. Got the thing years ago just recently busted it out. This recipe worked liked a charm. Thanks dude!!
My pleasure Mike thank you for leaving such an awesome message. And I’m so glad that you love your instant pot ribs so much. Yes the base recipe is really nice and anybody else can customize as they wish. Great to hear from you and stay safe all the best. Thank you so much ~Jason
My sister got me an Instant Pot for Christmas (I know, I'm late to the game) and this was the first meal I made in it. WOW! These were the best ribs I've ever had. I'm still eating them but your recipe was so good that I had to take a break and leave a comment. Thanks, man! My hubby is thankful too lol
@@FarmhouseWF I think I read the manual like 4 times and watched a TON of videos, afraid to try it out. After watching this video I had enough courage and confidence to try and make this recipe and am soooo glad I did lol....I'm making them again tomorrow for the football game 😍 It really does make life easier!
That’s so awesome !!!!!!!! Thanks so much for your awesome message, I’m so glad that your Insta pot ribs come out delicious, and I’m so glad that you got the sneak tip that you can put the lid on the handle, to be honest I learned that by myself by mistake. But I’m so glad that you get to benefit from that!!!!! Hahah life changer baby !!! Haha ... great to hear from you! Thank you 😊 ~Jason
I'm so glad you used Sweet Baby Ray's! I LOVE that stuff! I just got an Instant Pot for Christmas and have been looking for awesome recipes. This looks like a great one!
Hey Shelley! Yes, I love sweet baby rays as well. I'm glad you do too, its the best lol ! Good luck if you make the ribs! Congratulations on your new Instant Pot. You are absolutely going to love your new pressure cooker. Soon you will want to pressure cook everything in sight. LOL! I am working hard to bring better recipes for their Instant Pot so we are going to have some delicious stuff on its way for you! Nice to hear from you! Thank you ~ Jason
Boy did this come out good! I put in 2 tbs garlic powder in the bath cause I LOVE garlic. Super tender and oh so tasty. Thanks for teaching us how to make this!
That’s awesome Jim, I’m so glad your instant pot ribs came out so delicious. I’m glad that you added some garlic to the liquid sounds awesome buddy ! Appreciate the message ! Stay well ! Thank you ~Jason
I have made these on numerous occasions and people tell me , " Greg these are the best ribs I've ever had . " I use Everett & Jones Medium barbeque sauce with the Yellow lid on the jar . So simple to make and absolutely fall off the bone delicious / Yummy . Thanks for sharing this recipe , it is a winner .
Just made this, so delicious, the apple juice and apple cider vinegar give it so much flavor you really dont need any extra spices while in the pressure cooker. Thanks for this video!
Hey Kristin!!! AWESOME ! Yes, I love the apple, pork and bbq sauce, its simple and super delicious! Sometime simple is the best. Thank you so much for coming back to leave a message! Its great to hear from you and Im super happy to hear you had success! You rocked it! Its my pleasure! All the best , Thank you so much ~ Jason
Have made these twice now. It is so easy, so quick and they come out ridiculously tender!! Little to no clean up!! Second time I didn’t have any cider so I used apple cider vinegar and they were fabulous! So grateful for this recipe!
That’s awesome Mary Beth, I’m so glad that you enjoyed your instant pot ribs so much. I love them too they are ridiculously tender and delicious. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
I know it's been several years since you made this video, but I just got a Instant Pot for Christmas. I made these ribs for my wife tonight and she told me that I should open a rib joint. They were so awesome. When I served them to her I gave her a knife, fork, and napkins. After she had her first bite she said why did I bring her a knife? Also cleanup was nothing! Thank you for this great recipe!
I tried your recipe last night and I have to say they were some of the best ribs I have ever had. I love ribs but my husband can take them or leave them but he was pleasantly surprised with these ribs. There was no work, just fall off the bones ribs. (I usually have to cook ribs on low and for about 4 hours to get ribs like these). He couldn't believe they were that good and had cooked for only 42 minutes total time. While the ribs were in the stove, I cooked some potatoes and carrots in the Instant Pot and those came out great as well. I did a lot of research on the internet of all the different programmable Pressure Cooker and I decided to go with the Instant Pot because it was one of the few that has a stainless steel cooking pot. Most of the other brands have Teflon coated which are not good for your to use on the stove, I can't imagine they are better cooking under pressure, plus clean up is a breeze. When I came across your RUclips video with your review on the Instant Pot and recipes, it just help seal the deal. I bought it on Amazon with a three year warranty. I love this cooker. Thank you so much for the excellent videos. I am looking forward to trying out your other recipes soon.
Hello My friend ! I'm so glad you had success with the ribs last night ! Nothing makes me happier to hear that! Trust me , when i put out a video that is public and people are actually cooking and following along , positive feedback like yours is really appreciated ! Thanks for taking the time to let me know : ) ! Yes ! You have achieved Fall of the bone deliciousness : ) Awesome ! Yes you made the absolute right decision! Instant Pot is the best. I too have seen most of the pressure cookers out on the market and I can't believe how they just don't even compare in quality and workmanship. IP is the way to go ! I am so glad that the video really helped you make the decision. I would never make a public video if I didn't believe in it. When I made the video, I really wanted to show of the product so that you can really take a look. Thank you for the feedback : ) You are very welcome , and I am glad that you have enjoyed the videos, hope you subscribe! I will have more videos coming, I am having such a great time making them for everyone! Be well , great to hear from you ! Thanks for taking the time to message, I do appreciate it ! Thank you so much, ~Jason
Hi Annleyce! Yes it's the kind you drink and apple cider vinegar, just like France D said. Thanks for visiting my channel from Australia! Best of luck! : )) Thanks~Jason
That’s so awesome I’m so glad that you enjoyed your stay at home coronavirus instant pot ribs. That is so awesome thanks for leaving a comment totally made my isolation & quarantine better ! Haha 😂 hey stay safe and best of luck ! Seriously enjoyed your message ! Thanks so much ! ~Jason
My wife and I have followed this recipe about 6 times now.... Wonderful EVERY time. I love how consistent the Instapot is. And thanks for helping us make some of the best ribs we've ever had. Next I want to experiment with a little dry rub applied right before going in the oven to see if maybe I can mix two methods and get the best of both worlds.... Soft on the inside and texture on the outside... and dry seasoning and BBQ sauce together...
Hey Jonathan thanks for the message, glad that you make these instant pot ribs repeatedly. I’m so glad that it’s very consistently delicious for you. Absolutely you can modify and customize your ribs anyway you wish. I just lay out a nice bass recipe for you so you can customize yourself. I hope you’re dry rub on your Instant pot ribs come out delicious. All the best , great to hear from you stay well, stay safe! Thank you !!! ~Jason
In Whole Foods baby back ribs are way to go to make this, been doing this for years and love it, my husband and I we really enjoying every time I make it.
I've been told I make the best ribs ever. Just as tender and fall off the bone as yours. The only difference is mine take 4 hrs on the BBQ. I'm going out and buying a pressure cooker bro. Thx for the video.
Yes this instant pot ribs recipe works great with both pork and beef ribs. Thanks for letting me know how it turned out! Great job ! Thank you ! ~Jason
Have made this several times! The only complaint is that ribs are so expensive - because one rack is not enough! SO DELICIOUS! And you are very entertaining. Thanks for sharing!
Hello Elle, thank you for watching my instant pot ribs video. I know I love ribs too and they are delicious. A little expensive depending on the season. But nevertheless I still love my instant pot ribs and I hope you do too. Thank you for watching and I’m glad that you found the video very entertaining. You’re very welcome. Thanks for stopping by and leaving such an awesome comment. All the best ~ Jason
You won't be disappointed. I think the apple juice is important as it contrasts with the BBQ. A lot of people smoke with a hickory or mesquite than and apple or cherry wood. I did lessen the apple cider vinegar just a little bit as the recipe said you might. I did add a little liquid smoke to give it a smokey taste and used a dry rub on the ribs first. Hey my bottle said "apple cider vinegar"
Excellent video! I've done pork ribs on my pressure cooker many times, thruogh the years. When I do 'em after a while, I like to refresh my memory, seeing this video again. I do abit different steps. I like to pad dry 'em after washing. Then, to concentrate the flavors, I rub a bit of mustard on them & a bit of bbq sauce, let 'em marinate for an hour before they go in the cooker. Also I shorten the time to 30 min. to avoid them comming off the bone prematurely. The rest is same steps. Thanks for sharing.
Great recipe. I was confused initially because you were referring to Apple Cider Vinegar simply as Apple Cider but I figured it out and the ribs turned out awesome. Thanks
It's really unfortunate that people feel the need to nitpick small subtle mistakes. When people say "was it apple cider or apple cider vinegar?" The guy repeats Apple Cider Vinegar several times during the video and because there is even a damn bottle of it seen several times throughout the video it makes the nitpicking childish and annoying. People nowadays like to make themselves feel better about their own inadequacies by thinking that pointing out imaginary flaw of others.
The only reason to point out such mistakes is if you are editing, suggesting that their apparent lack of attention to detail calls their credibility into question, or if it makes some material difference to the presentation, otherwise its just petty pedantry.
Fantastic Layni !!!! I’m so glad your Instant Pot Ribs came out so delicious 😋 ! I’m so glad to hear from you. Thanks for watching and trying the ribs , great job !!! All the best ! ~Jason
That's great Engleberth, I'm so glad that you are enjoying your new IP pressure cooker! That's awesome thanks for letting us know! And I'm really glad that you had great success with the ribs. I love simple delicious ribs! Thanks for sharing!. Thank you so much ~Jason
7/7/23: Hey GC, your ribs looked incredible, and I love how they fall off the bone, but I would personally season my meat at some point with a dry rub before putting them in the oven. I just purchased the 8 qt. Instant Pot today and can't wait to receive it and try lots of recipes. There are so many it's overwhelming, but I'm excited! Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe. Great job! 😋
Thank you I used your method, so easy. It was delicious! I didn't have apple cider so I used rice vinegar and decreased the cooking time to 30 minutes because I didn't want it to be too tender. This is my favorite recipe.... Thank you!!!
+Dinnah Didulo Hello Dinnah! Thank you so much for the message it's great to hear from you. That's okay if you didn't have Apple cider or Apple cider vinegar; I am sure your rice vinegar did the trick and came out really great. I always encourage people to set the time or adjust their ingredients or settings as they see fit. I'm really glad that you enjoyed this super easy, super delicious method for making your ribs. You are very welcome and a big Thank You for taking the time to message! Thank you so much, ~ Jason
I tried this last night thinking that the video was going to be yet more RUclips garbage. I didn't have apple cider vinegar, so I added a bit of rice vinegar instead. I plated them for my family and grabbed a rib - and was literally holding nothing but a very, very clean bone. The meat just slid off. For fun, I tried using a butter knife to cut the meat - I didn't even get that far. The fork I was using to hold it easily ripped it apart. My wife commented that it was very much like pulled pork, which I guess it really was. The flavor was absolutely amazing! If you like fall-off-the-bone ribs, this **IS** the easiest possible method. Pour liquid in, set to saute, pull off membrane on ribs, put ribs in pot, pressure cook for 32 minutes, set oven to 400 F, get ribs out and cover with BBQ, put in oven for 10 minutes. Short of someone else cooking for me, it doesn't get easier than this.
I've been begging my wife to let me buy an instant pot for a while now, it being 50% off for Black Friday was the straw the broke the camels back, super excited to get mine soon!
@@TheWutangclan1995 try making carnitas with it, it's insane how good it is. Normally pork shoulder/butt takes forever but it comes out beyond tender in the instant pot. 3lbs done in 34 min.
+Deirdre Munoz LOL !!! You are hilarious Deirdre! Thank you so much for your awesome message! Since I made you so hungry I must be doing my job!!! I know I love that picture too - it is a crazy amazing picture, after I was done taking pictures of the food I looked down at the camera roll and I knew that was the picture. Gets me hungry every time I look at it too. Sorry for the delayed response I've been working on another video engagement. But thank you so much for leaving a message, I do appreciate it, your the best! Thank you, ~Jason
Thank you so much for showing the pressure valve stuff, details, and which button selections!! Most ppl don't, assuming _incorrectly_ that we know this. We don't, especially if we're newbies. Much appreciated - Great job! ♥
Well thank you for coming back to remember your instant pot rib recipe. Hope they come out delicious again for you, I’m sure they did. Great hearing from you and thanks for coming back.!!!!! Fee free to keep coming back ! Lol thanks ! ~Jason
I love your passion for these ribs...just referred this vid to someone again. Great vid--makes you want a rack of ribs...STAT. Its been my go to for ribs ever since I jumped on the instant Pot train, an I made a bunch of racks for the last party...always a hit....Thanks Chow.
Awe !!!! Thanks so much Lara ! I really appreciate that comment very much ! I’m glad you felt it ! Yeah ... I love these instant Pot ribs and I do love cooking and I really appreciated you visiting, watching and leaving such a nice comment ! Hope you are doing well ! Hope you subscribe for more , would love to have you... all the best Lara, thank you ~Jason
OMG! So good! So EASY! Made it together with coleslaw and a cucumber and tomato salad. My rack was 3 1/3 pounds and I could barely finish half! Fall off the bone. Cooked 28 minutes...plus 5 minutes natural release. I don’t know where you get these recipes from but, you are a genius! 👍👍
Well I cook them. 2 racks of baby back. They turn out on a scale from 1 to 10, ten being the best, about an 8. They were tender and really good. But the cook in me wasn't yet satisfied with the overall result. I did not put them in the liquid. I added hot sauce to the broth for the acid. I didn't get to much of a smoke taste from the liquid smoke. Next time I will add more. After taking them out, I added more seasoning to the ribs for some of it had steamed off. Added BBQ sauce and put it in a 450 degree convection oven. I then put the broiler on for about 5 minutes to give the sauce some char. everybody loved them. All were eaten, but I am my worst critic. So I will try them again.
+OldVoiceofToday Wow - Awesome, sorry for the later reply I just saw this message. Glad they came out great... Guess what ? I suffer from the same thing...being a cook I always think I can do better... And you know what? That's awesome, because you just keep working on getting better and better but still taking the time to really enjoy the great racks of ribs!. I am always trying to reinvent the ultimate ribs...Honestly I can make about 10 more episodes on ribs because of all of the variations I try... My rib game is getting better and better. So good for you ... Keep going! I encourage you to keep getting better and better with your methods! Let me know how you make out ! Be well my friend ! Thanks for the message and update! Thanks, Jason
Mahalo for the delicious recipe. I have added a little liquid smoke and a no salt dry rub like Mrs Dash before I cook. It’s stays on a the ribs even after the pressure cook. I also use a little less liquid I pass this recipe on to everyone who is an instant pot newbie asking for tips. Mahalo for posting! 🤙🏽
Hey thanks so much for the awesome message. I’m really glad that you think the instant pot ribs look amazing. They’re delicious. If you get an Instant pot. Definitely give them a shot! Great hearing from you all the best. Thanks so much, ~ Jason
I tried this a week ago. Got a instant pot as a wedding gift and wanted to try to cook something with it. I was praised by my wife and mom that they were amazing (I never cook lol) they want me to do it again soon.
+Erin Domokos Hi Erin, Hey thanks for the message and I am so glad you felt comfortable enough to send me a message. OK- here is a moment of honesty (lets keep this between us, and eveyone reading this on RUclips- wink wink ; ) -- The first time I used my Instant Pot, I added all of the contents, set the time...and ran into another room until the time was up (LOL), Then I knew I had to vent it (release the steam) - I took a dish towel and moved the release to vent and ran back into the other room. LOL!!! After that, I trusted in it. Then - for my pulled pork, I freaked out because I was setting an kitchen appliance to be under pressure for 90 MIN! - Well it was no problem, nothing bad happened... Now I use it everyday, and its safe. Honestly Its such a great and well built product with safety mechanisms built in that I can tell you with absolute confidence you will be just fine : ) --Just follow along with the steps and you will see that your first use will be so easy : ) - I believe in you ! I really made the videos with the "HOW to Use it" element in mind for eveyone. Thank you so much for the message, I wish you the best Erin, If you need anything else let me know : ) Thank you ~ Jason
I made my ribs exactly how you did. When they were done in the oven and down the hatch! It made me jump up and kick the door in they were that good!!!!!!
Well Jason I got to hand it to Ya....These are the best ribs I have ever had, never seen them fall off the bone like that. I'm alone this Thanks Giving and decided to be untraditional in my mid sixties and make the Fall of the Bone ribs....never had anything but Turkey. Thanks for the great Thanks Giving dinner, you made my day. I am blessed to have found your site. Thanks Rick
Rick !!! Sorry for the delayed response but ... I’m so glad your Thanksgiving Instant Pot Ribs came out so good ! Awesome to hear it that the Ribs made your day a great day ! Seriously, I love hearing that , thanks for coming back to let me know ! Great job my friend ! LOL. Love the ending. You were sitting down to eat them, but the vid had more time - was wondering where it was going. Anyway, got my instant pot on prime day this week. Grocery store had ribs on special - providence, right? So I'm leading with this recipe; wanted it to be tonight, but hubby wants burgers for lunch, so it'll save till tomorrow. My new instant pot doesn't have the liquid measurements as yours does. Too bad. Thx for the clarification of apple cider vs. apple cider vinegar. Would love the recipe you use to make gravy left from the drippings. Thx for the vid; thx for the recipe.
Hi Jessica, thank you so much for letting me know how much your family loves the instant pot Ribs! I love comments like these and happy 14th birthday to your son. Tell him I say happy birthday lol !! Hope you and your family are well and that it was a very happy birthday! Great hearing from you and all the best! Thank you ~Jason
Hey Rob! I'm glad you got a chance to check this video out. Glad it made you hungry; haha. Awesome seeing you today. Hope you subscribe for more tasty videos buddy. haha! - Glad you left a comment! Thanks brotha, see you soon! ~Jason
RobertFrank615 forget the seasoning, I throw on a handful of STEEL ALPHA and the ribs double in size giving me the fuel to take the 120’s for a ride on the incline press. LETS GOOO!!
I made this last night with some spare ribs cuz that's what we had. But thank you so much. The whole family enjoyed them. They already requested it again next week
I like to put a little char on mine in the oven. Turn on the broiler and put the shelf they are on up close to it for about 10 minutes at the end. MEAT SIDE UP.
@@xVoidCypher - Haha... yeah... 10 minutes is a bit long for broiling for char. I do it for just 3-4 minutes and get a great char, but it might depend on your oven. And BTW, broiling to char causes the sauce to have much deeper flavor than baking for 5-10 minutes. Baking slightly cooks the sauce. Broiling REALLY cooks the sauce.
Same!!
me too, made them today just like this - watched first of course
Me too!
Same
I know I'm late to the conversation but I tried this per the recipe with two variations: I applied honey and a dry rub to the ribs. I then let them marinate for 30 minutes before placing them in the pot. Thank you so much for the inspiration. We were going to put half in the freezer for later. They won't make it. The ribs are awesome!
What kind of rub would you use
Mine are marinating as I type. Like yourself, I applied honey after a nice homemade rub I like to do. Anyway ...
Omg, wow! This is such a perfect way to do ribs! What a winner!
I had already put rub on my ribs for several hours from one of the most popular pork tenderloin recipes on the internet called "Island Pork Tenderloin" from Epicurious. The flavor is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Here's a shortcut if you want a rub:
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Then I was searching for a way to cook my ribs with my new IP.
I do ribs in the pressure cooker a few times a year and every time I come back to this video for a reminder,,, always good
I do the exact same. Back for the bath recipe and the times 😂
Same!!!
32 min is not to long ribs are in overall fatty.
Hi Karen
~ Jason
I just may make these tonight for dinner, haven't even used my new Instapot yet. What guy doesn't love some tasty ribs
Tastiest ribs you ever had came out of a instant pot....hmmmK.
This is our go-to recipe when we make ribs! So delicious! We love it SOOOO much! Just came back for a refresher to make again tonight. Thanks so much!
can you use something besides apple juice looking for low sugar options and not going to the grocery store
That sounds really good thanks for giving the measurements used. What size instant pot are you using?
DUDE! I did not know you could hook the lid on the handle like that. You’re a hero for sure! Can’t wait to cook these up for the lady. Thanks!
I didn’t either! I no longer need to look for a place on my countertop to place it on.
Ha, going to have to try it too
So true....this guy is my hero just for that!
The spoons it comes with also fits in it too
MASTERoQUADEMAN don’t you. CAll me dude
I just want to say thank you. I saw this video years ago and to this day I still use your recipe!
Wow that's so awesome, I really enjoyed reading your message. Good for you. It always makes me smile when I influence someone like that. Wow you literally ran out in the rain for the equipment and the ingredients, you're a trooper! I love that! I'm so glad that you and the family enjoy the ribs so much. That makes me super happy. I Really loved your message! Talk to you soon hope you subscribe for more videos as I release them. Thank you so much! ~ Jason
I loved the ribs! I didn't have apple juice so I substituted 4 cups of water, 2 heaping tbsp of sugar and 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar. Worked perfect. Thanks for the video!
Awesome Job! I'm glad your substitution worked out! Sounds delicious! You are very welcome for the video, Its my pleasure! All the best and hope you make some more delicious ribs ! lol - Hope you subscribe for more videos as I release them! ~ All the best, Thank you ~ Jason
Carol M great idea - and maybe even better: I’m going to try your idea with brown sugar (no Apple juice here either)
This is my first time seeing this channel and this recipe. I spent a few minutes reading through the comments and now I can't imagine making ribs any other way. Thanks to all of the people that have commented because y'all have convinced me that this guy is amazing and so is the recipe, thanks 😊
I’ve made these a few times, and they are amazing! It’s been a while, so I rewatched your video and am making them tonight. Can’t wait!
I use this recipe and incorporated my dry rub. I also added liquid smoke to the liquid. OMG ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
Disney Gal
Do you put the dry rub on at the beginning?
Disney Gal did u leave the dry rub on overnight ? And how much liquid smoke

Hello, how are you doing my friend?
Costco sells racks of ribs, three in a package. Your recipe has my dinner guests asking for them. I'll probably do 45 minutes. We're doing a SURVIVOR house party tonight...like the TV show. They will LOVE them! Thank you so much for the recipe!!!
Just bought an Instant Pot this week. I tried this recipe. It was my first time every making ribs. They turned out amazing!
Couldn't sleep, happened to watch this, now I'm hungry! I'm thinking of getting up, driving to Walmart to pick up some ribs at 4AM. Thanks for the delicious early morning wake up call.
😉
😂👍🏼
I have made this recipe numerous times. The ribs are always fall off the bone and moist. The only thing I do in addition to the basic procedure is to smoke my ribs for about an hour and a half on my electric smoker before I put them in the Instant Pot. Fantastic. Thank you Jason.
I did this. I personally like to take five minutes off the clock. I found them to dry if they cook to fall off the bone. I rather have them on my grill for that extra time. That’s just me. I still think this is a great video.
Love the recipe. I have told sooo many ppl about this RUclips page. Your rib recipe ROCK !!
I'm back again for a refresher. I make your recipe a couple of times of year. Still, just as good as the first time I watched this.
Great to have you back again , thank you so much for letting me know how much you enjoy your instant pot ribs! That’s awesome!!! Hope all is well. Great to hear from you , enjoy 😊 !!! Thank you! ~Jason
Same here!!
I've made these several times now with your recipe and everyone has liked them!
I am going to make these again today! Just stopped in to review the recipe and get psyched! Awesome fall off the bone ribs! When my sister got her instant pot, she raved about this recipe! Thanks for posting this!
Leave the membrane on it helps keep them from falling apart. Also turns crispy when you broil them still fall off the bone.
@@FarmhouseWF ooooh, I haven't done hard boiled eggs yet. I'll do those next, thanks for the tip 😄👍
@@ModgePodge1111 Eggs were my 1st pressure cooking adventure! From now on, this is how I'm boiling eggs!
Same with corn-on-the-cob and pasta!😀😀
These were a hit, kids loved them..they did fall off the bone completely, but wouldn’t change a thing, thank you!!!
What I took from this video besides tips on making ribs..... the lid. You just changed my life!
Shooot! I forgot that I could put my lid on the handles until I watched his video 🤣.
Hello, how are you doing my friend?
Love how you speak Clearly. You did a great job.
Omg! Just bought an instant pot and first time I’ve ever done ribs...they were Amazing! Easy to follow directions were so helpful! Thank you!
Used your method for ribs with new pressure cooker, they are as good or better than ANY restaurant. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for the feedback : )
You are very welcome , and I am glad that you have enjoyed the videos, hope you subscribe! I will have more videos coming, I am having such a great time making them for everyone!
Be well , great to hear from you ! Thanks for taking the time to message, I do appreciate it ! Thank you so much, ~Jason
The apple juice and cyder are like the kinds we drink? sorry I live in Australia.
+Annleyce Yawingu Yes, the kind you drink and apple cider vinegar.
France D okay I see, thanks so much.
Hi Annleyce! Yes it's the kind you drink and apple cider vinegar, just like France D said. Thanks for visiting my channel from Australia! Best of luck! : )) Thanks~Jason
Hell yeah! Worked out great during my "Stay at home Corona Virus" ... ribs came out GREAT! Thank you!
Fantastic recipe/method!! Family loved them! This is the 3rd time I have made them. Thanks for posting this great, easy recipe!
Hello, how are you doing my friend?
I just discovered Sweet Baby Rays bbq sauce last year, its my all time favorite now
In Whole Foods baby back ribs are way to go to make this, been doing this for years and love it, my husband and I we really enjoying every time I make it.
I've been told I make the best ribs ever. Just as tender and fall off the bone as yours. The only difference is mine take 4 hrs on the BBQ. I'm going out and buying a pressure cooker bro. Thx for the video.
My Muskoka I did!
i hope u can share ur recipe too :)
This worked so well I did it twice: once with pork ribs & once with beef ribs. Both were excellent, TY!!
Yes this instant pot ribs recipe works great with both pork and beef ribs. Thanks for letting me know how it turned out! Great job ! Thank you ! ~Jason
Did you use the same time for the beef ones?
@@sam08willie yes, same time and they came out very tender.
@@jimedward8908 thanks so much
Have made this several times!
I made them today, and they were the most tender, least greasy, ribs I've ever eaten! 👍👍
I know right smh.. people
Arianus Especially since they are not mistakes they are preferences!
The only reason to point out such mistakes is if you are editing, suggesting that their apparent lack of attention to detail calls their credibility into question, or if it makes some material difference to the presentation, otherwise its just petty pedantry.
Watch the video again He never says apple cider vinegar even one time. All he says is apple cider...could be a little confusing
Road Angel only if you're an idiot and can't see the bottle of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR on the table.
This has been my go to for like 3 years. The best. Thank you!
I made these tonight in my instapot and I must say I’m impressed! They turned out amazing!
Fantastic Layni !!!! I’m so glad your Instant Pot Ribs came out so delicious 😋 ! I’m so glad to hear from you. Thanks for watching and trying the ribs , great job !!! All the best ! ~Jason

Great job! 😋
Gave this recipe a try tonight. They came out perfect! This will be our go to Rib recipe! Thanks for this video:)
I’ve made these several times and my husband LOVES them! Thank you!!
Hello, how are you doing my friend?
This is the best recipe. I go back to this video time and time again. Thank you!
I love this recipe!❤ This is my "go-to" rib recipe. Always easy and fall off the bone. I never do them any other way now. Thanks so much!! 🍖🍖🍖🍖
You are welcome! :)
My instant pot is on the way and my husband's skeptical about it. THIS is gonna be the meal I make to shut him up, lol.
I've been begging my wife to let me buy an instant pot for a while now, it being 50% off for Black Friday was the straw the broke the camels back, super excited to get mine soon!
I just put an order in for one. Hope that this will help me reduce the number of times I go out to eat.
@@TheWutangclan1995 try making carnitas with it, it's insane how good it is. Normally pork shoulder/butt takes forever but it comes out beyond tender in the instant pot. 3lbs done in 34 min.
I bought mine two weeks ago at Costco, and have used it practically every day. Totally worth every penny.
@@deeprose4 what are you making with it? Bought one, and have yet to find anything that I cant do better, except braise quicker.
i HATE the fact that you put those ribs so close to the screen....NOW IM HUNGRY, GOOD JOB DUDE
Thank you,
~Jason
Thank you so much for showing the pressure valve stuff, details, and which button selections!! Most ppl don't, assuming _incorrectly_ that we know this. We don't, especially if we're newbies. Much appreciated - Great job! ♥

The ribs melted off the bone!! I did two racks and just added one extra cup of apple juice and an extra dash ok apple cider. Thanks again.
Thanks for this reply 😜
Great recipe! I made my ribs exactly how you described and they came out absolutely amazing!!
OMG! So good! So EASY! Made it together with coleslaw and a cucumber and tomato salad. My rack was 3 1/3 pounds and I could barely finish half! Fall off the bone. Cooked 28 minutes...plus 5 minutes natural release. I don’t know where you get these recipes from but, you are a genius! 👍👍
PS: like pulled pork without the Pulling!
The actual cooking starts at 2:10
How long do you bake the ribs after you have pressure cooked them?
Thanks, Jason
how much liquid smoke did you use the 1st time. I want to add that to mine as well.
+SmoothbassmanStudios I added 2 tablespoons.
Mahalo for the delicious recipe. I have added a little liquid smoke and a no salt dry rub like Mrs Dash before I cook. It’s stays on a the ribs even after the pressure cook. I also use a little less liquid
I pass this recipe on to everyone who is an instant pot newbie asking for tips.
Mahalo for posting! 🤙🏽
Made this 10 times and every one loves it
So do you know how long he did the oven? He said 400 but not how long
@@rebelvictory 5 - 10 min ... he states this at 1:39 , good luck I made these for Thanksgiving and by demand Christmas
@@rebelvictory think 5=8minson broiler setting
Those ribs looked amazing I was going to cook mine in the oven , now I'm definitely using the pressure cooker
I just got an Instant Pot for Xmas, and I'm excited but intimidated! Thanks for making your videos
I'm alone this Thanks Giving and decided
to be untraditional in my mid sixties and make the Fall of the Bone ribs....never had anything but Turkey. Thanks for the great Thanks Giving dinner, you made my day.
I am blessed to have found your site. Thanks Rick

We have been making these for years. Today, I'm making it as a birthday dinner request for my 14 year old son. Thanks for the great recipe!
PRO TIP:
Use better apple juice! It DOES make a difference. Something unfiltered if you
can find it. Cheers! 🍎 🍻 🍏
This video made me hungry. Thanks Jay
MEAT SIDE UP.
a LITTLE char????
@@xVoidCypher Yeah... like a little color, browning, carmelization of sugars... char. :) Stay safe & be well.
