  • This recipe for "fall off the bone" pork ribs is so easy to make, it's almost embarrassing - because they are absolutely delicious!! Tender, moist and very tasty - it doesn't get much better than that. Whether you prefer back ribs or side ribs, either way, they will be amazing!! Enjoy

    00:38 Prepping the ribs

06:27 3 hours later, add the sauce and broil

    Fall-off-the-bone-RIBS
    Ingredients:
    • 1 rack of pork back ribs or side ribs
    • Salt
    • Pepper (or Roasted Garlic and pepper spice)
    • Paprika
    • Pork BBQ sauce
    Process
    • Preheat oven to 275 Deg F
    • Remove thin membrane (Silver Skin) from the back of the ribs (sometimes this is done already)
    • Add salt, pepper (or roasted Garlic Pepper Spice) and paprika to both sides of the ribs (to taste)
    • Place in a dry Dutch oven, bone side down. Put the lid on and bake at 275 Deg. F. for 3 hours.
    • After 3 hours, remove ribs from oven, and change oven setting to broil.
    • Baste any juices over-top of the ribs, then brush on your BBQ Sauce (top side only)
    • Place ribs back into oven, this time with the lid off, and let it broil for usually 10 minutes (ovens vary) or until you achieve your desired color.
    • Remove ribs to a serving platter and enjoy while they are still hot 😊
    Home Made BBQ Sauce:
I like to make my own BBQ sauce and this is how I do it:
    • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
    • ¼ cup ketchup
    • 1 TBSP soy sauce
    • Mix all ingredients together…great flavor!!

Very nice for indoor ribs. I kind of do the opposite for ribs on the grill using charcoal and wood chips for smoke flavoring. I sear them to a light brown and then brush them with b-b-que sauce and let them caramelize on both sides and then I wrap them in aluminum foil and let them finish cooking on the cooler side of the grill.

I plan to make these ribs as soon as I get the lab results that my transplanted liver can handle these beautiful slab of ribs. I couldn't read the name of the sauce on the bottle. Thank you.

New to your channel! Great video - my mouth is watering! 3rd generation Sicilian here - my husband & I are going to try your Italian sausage recipe - he’s German, so we have the equipment for making brats, so we should be good to go! Your wife is darling! (I hope I will be as patient as she was untangling & rinsing those casings!) Anyway, I wish you showed how you removed the silver. Was that little piece all that you removed? Or did you take it all off? Thanks! Love your channel! Keep ‘em coming!

Yes - the silver skin is on the back and you just peel it off, but sometimes, the butcher would have done it already....and I absolutely love Sicily!!! In fact, in the near future, I will also share my version/recipe for arancini :) As for the sausage, so glad you are going to make it, as it turns out fantastic every time 👍👍

If you party freeze the raw ribs I find it easier to remove with a regular butter knife. Just get the knife under the end to start and with your hand & paper towel pull off.

Always keep the silver skin on to keep the ribs together. Competition competitors are learning that silver skin on IA the very best way.

The brand I used is ANOVA - it's a "combi" oven and there are many to choose from so be sure to shop around 👍👍

A small dash of liquid smoke would be great in that BBQ sauce of yours. I also like to wrap my ribs, brisket or whatever in parchment paper. This holds in the juices really good.

I used my Anova Combi oven but I could have also just used my regular oven....it doesn't matter which oven you have - they key is to use the Dutch oven with a lid👍

The Dutch oven and 1rack looks like it works perfect. What about multiple racks would it work the same?

I'm a BBQ nut with every smoking gadget out there. I sometimes oversmoke which troubles my wife so I thought I would try this recipe. I have to admit but these ribs were crazy tender without being mush. No smokey flavor of course so season well, easy to do but your dutch oven is going to get crusty...but well worth it.
