Great Video! I love linked stitches and have done this with a 5 chain start for a wide blanket border. I have never done a shorter version, though it makes perfect sense to do so. I love the dense ness of the fabric it makes. Good pet pad too! and this stitch made with cord would make a super outdoor pad or welcome mat.

Oh my! Thats really an interesting stitch. I must incorpirate that in the next blanket.
Edit: actually this would be great for sweater/cardigan, tanktop as thus provides no see thru holes.
