  • I had a lot of fun painting this new rhino mask, and it was really fast. Most people will probably want to take a bit more time than I did - but I do enjoy experimenting. The warm grey gives him a metallic look, don't you think?
    I used the paper towels to give him a few wrinkles. I did the same thing last month to put some texture on the ram's horns. It's an easy way to add details, but next time I'll try to find a paper towel brand that has bigger bumps. 😊
    You can make a rhino mask with my pattern - there's a small charge for it, and you can find it here: www.ultimatepapermache.com/rh...

    A lot of thought went into developing this mask to fit a human! You are a marvel! And, there are no crazy moves when doing art! Thanks Jonni.

    Well, I guess there is no limit to your creative powers. He looks real nice and once again real. I am so glad that you did not make the rhino from the movie "When Nature Calls" with Jim Carry. Good job on the video and the project. You are a inspiration to many people.

      Thanks, Alan. I've never seen that movie - but if you didn't like the rhino, maybe I should skip it. 😊

    Looks fantastic, I think with masks it's sometimes nicer not to try to make it all anatomically correct, a bit of artistic licence is fun. 😊

      Thanks, Darrell. I didn't have much choice with this one, but it was definitely fun. And my readers are loving your book, by the way. 😊

      @@UltimatePaperMache Thanks Jonni, seasons greetings to you x The book is doing well and I'm attempting to find time (between real work) to add more stuff on here and onto my social media, it's like another full time job! I'm sure you can empathise. 😆

    Hi Joni. Do you know if there’s a paper mache recipe with book and notebook pages? They come out super rough, which is good for a few projects, but not many.

    Can I use your air dry recipe for lamp shades?
    Kim

    • @UltimatePaperMache
      @UltimatePaperMache  6 месяцев назад

      It won't allow any light to shine through. People do use paper pulp for light shades, if it doesn't matter if the shade is opaque, so I suppose you could use the air dry clay, too.

      I’m more worried about it catching fire! Lol

    • @UltimatePaperMache
      @UltimatePaperMache  6 месяцев назад

      I don't have a lab that can do fire testing - if you intend to use bulbs that get hot, you might want to do some testing on your own. I've never used the air dry clay for a lamp shade, and I've never tried to see if it would burn - so you'll have to use your own judgement.@@user-bh6xb6zt2n
