  • 🌟 In this first video, you can see how I added crumpled foil and a few foil balls - and a little bit of cardboard, to create the armature for my silly Stargazer Man portrait.
I used my Mannequin Head pattern to make the base. You can find that pattern here: www.ultimatepapermache.com/ma...
🦁You can find over 30 other patterns for masks and sculptures here: www.ultimatepapermache.com/pa...
Of course, you don't need to use the mannequin pattern - you could make a form yourself with crumpled foil and masking tape. You can also use the foil and other items to make a different creature, or a portrait of another character.
I hurried through this part of the process because I was trying out the new Paper Mache Clay recipe that can be used with any brand of joint compound. It worked great. You can find that recipe here: • Best Paper Mache Clay ...
If you take your time and apply your paper mache clay more carefully than I did, you can make it even smoother with a thin layer of pre-mixed drywall joint compound. You can watch how I do that in this video: • Make Paper Mache Smoot...
I put a couple of screenshots on my blog, in case you want a closer look at this fellow for some strange reason. 😊 You can find it here: www.ultimatepapermache.com/sc...
If I forgot a link that I said I'd include, please let me know.
In the next video, I'll clean up that rough paper mache clay with some new tools I just bought, and give him a bronze-look finish. Be sure and watch for it. If you just happen to write a short story to explain how Stargazer Man ended up on Earth, please post a link to it so we can read it. I'd love to know more about this crazy-looking guy. 😊

Superb! All hail to you, lovely lady, one of the world's creators, and a refreshing change from all the destroyers we're having to suffer on our planet right now!

Nice. 👋 carpenters use a tool that you push up against molding to get the shape to copy the shape. You could use it to get the curve for the crown on the head. It has little metal pieces that when you push it up against something it takes that shape.

Thanks for sharing this link! I love short stories from sci-fi magazines published in the 40’s and 50’s. Stargazer man looks like he could’ve stepped right out of one of those stories. My current favorite RUclips channel is exactly those short stories narrated by a guy with a wonderful voice. Here is a link in case you want something to listen to for inspiration while you’re creating these amazing characters.

It looks like you are frosting a cake. Mmm..cake...frosting.☺☺☺😯😯😯😯 He looks like some creature form a movie in the 50's. PBS had a show (I think) called Stargazer but I do not think Jack Horkheimer will be offended. You are always interesting. Does your new clay have good adhesion as you put it on???? You say space creature but I am think some kind of aquodic or swamp monster. Maybe I saw him on the TV show Lost In Space???? Make a story.......now I will be up all night trying to think of something. Thanks for the video. I am always glad to see you because you are so positive, giving and fun. 🤠🤠🤠🤠
