My Grandmother had it. She said her hearing has left in one ear after it. Said it was the scariest thing she'd ever experienced. And shes 82!!
Glad she made it through we lost my wife’s grandmother. Be well!
🙏
Everyone still trynna downplay covid-19 and no wonder the numbers spiked. Stay safe my dude.
The numbers spike when theh test more.
@ESTABLISHED IN 1982 Don't forget the covid- 19 partys these young people be throwing. A 31 yrs old man died from Covid- 19 thinking it wasn't real.
Its not real.wash ur hands 😆
Glad you and your family are ok.
So you went from coronavirus to change your guest room into a home office 😂🤣😂🤣🙈🤦🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️😜🤟🏿 to asking for subscribers 🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂 #fakenews
You've done a great public service telling people about your experience. I'm going to share it with all my Facebook friends. Thanks and hope you continue to feel better.
I have Covid 19 I been positive for the second time it is really stressful my 3 kids have it PLEASE STAY HOME
Are you contagious the second time around? I have heard people are not...and are your symptoms the same as when you got it the first time? Get well soon.
Wow. I hope you all are able to power through it!
I hope you get well soon!
Wait what! You can get it again??
When I did my first test it came positive stayed home for 14 days isolated then I went again to do another test 2nd time it came positive again.
Glad to see you safe and healthy.
Thanks Amit 💪🏾
What city are you in? Were you wearing N94 mask or respirator? Gloves when outside?
I just watched your first video; so very sorry for your experience..😥 Mom just texted me yesterday and told me that my cousin in Chicago has this and was placed on a ventilator last Wednesday; however, his condition improved and he is now in ICU.. It’s going to take a literal act of a God to lift this deadly virus. People are truly and extremely selfish and have the mentality ‘I don’t SEE the virus, so I’m good!’ (Yes, I have HEARD this..🤦🏽♀️) Well, you don’t see gravity but unless you’re on PCP, no amount of money will cause you to jump off a cliff thinking that you’re going to live, right?🙄 I wish more would listen to the secular authorities/medical experts and SURVIVORS - and live!! Congrats on your recovery and THANK YOU for sharing your story!👍🏽 Stay safe!💙
Glad to hear you're doing OK. It's crazy that people think this is some type of hoax, and that they don't take it seriously. If everyone cared enough about each other to wear masks and socially distance themselves, our current situation with massive spikes in the south and west wouldn't be happening. Stay strong!
Thank you for sharing your story. I find it puzzling that this "thing" can last so long. People talk as if it's over with in a couple of weeks...
Your story is scary and inspiring at the same time! I am so glad you are getting better and God bless! I am really scared!
Dude, thank god you came out of it ok, right? Wow. Scary for real. I have a panic moment every day. Like you, I am super careful, but a few days ago I accidentally touched my nose. Ugh! Anyway, stay well. Peace and love
Beautiful man. Glad you’re doing better ❤️ ♠️ ♦️ ♣️
Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m glad you have not transmitted the virus to your family because most transmission occurs in family units or congregate living or crowds in which people are in close contact for 10 minutes or more.
It is even possible that one of your family members, particularly children, asymptotically transmitted it to you.
Even though we may be careful, our close contacts also expose us indirectly to their close contacts.
Glad you made it safe! I had same symptoms you had except I didn't have pneumonia. I went to clinic and got x-rayed, Thanks to God my lungs appeared clear. I have a distant cousin who is my godfather died from covid. May he rest in peace, no funeral was planned so it's sad. But he was getting up there in age and was overweight his whole life, so it's kinda expected unfortunately. But prayers to everyone in this world who are vulnerable and hope we get a reliable vaccine going. Blessings to all people helping others with covid. In Jesus name, Amen!
I just finished watching your prior video and hoped to see an update, thanks for the update! Really appreciate you taking the time to share and very glad you’re doing better! I’ve heard from several others that recovered from COVID had lingering symptoms even after months of recovery. I really hope you won’t experience the same. New subscriber, happy to come across your channel. Stay well.
I have some lingering chest pains, I haven't tried working out yet. I hope my follow up with the doctor is clean. Thanks for joining the journey!
So happy that you are doing well. I am trying to be careful but I feel that your story could be me. This is a scary time but your advice here and your explanation of your symptoms were very helpful.
Thanks for the info. My you continue to heal.
Just ran across your video. I'm glad you're feeling better man. I'm sure that was a scary experience.
Despite what the propogandists say, Covid-19 is a serious risk for everyone and will be for some time. Glad you are on the mend and I hope that you are able to shake the rest of it without permanent damage. Thank you for sharing your story. Stay safe and be well.
Good to see your alot better..you look like a very humble man. Take care and thanks for the good vids
God is good, glad you’re doing better bro 💯💯
So glad you posted a follow up and that you're well; your video has haunted me since first seeing it. If the govt doesn't mandate a shelter at home order, including fines for breaking curfew, I fear we are all doomed. It's terrifying, but seeing your straightforward account of your situation has been helpful. God bless you & yours. Stay humble, stay safe, stay inside!💛
Jane F the media doesn’t rap about so many of us that survive so it seems very gloom and doom. Don’t get me wrong this was as sick as I’ve ever been but I survived and I’m thankful.
So glad you fought it. Our family friend was 2 weeks at home and 2 weeks in ICU. His 70 year wife tested positive without symptoms. He got to go home the day before a milestone birthday They still have to quarantine for two more weeks before we can see him per doctors.
Glad he’s making it through. At 70 that’s amazing news. Be well!
Greatful to God for your recovery! Scary stuff! My 18 year old son had symptoms while out of town but tested negative.. kept him isolated a total of 2 weeks and he was very ill in bed for most of that time, never had to go to hospital thank God!
Like you, I was doing all the right things. In March I was masked before anyone I knew and following guidelines while going to work.
I had to self quarantine the month of April. I'm an essential worker and contracted COVID from a coworker. He actually took out 4 of us. My symptoms started on April 1 with high fever. Thank goodness I only had mild symptoms: sore throat, diarrhea, fever and fatigue.
I never had to go to the hospital. I had virtual treatment phone calls each day for my symptoms check (already had blood pressure monitor and thermometer store away) and Zoom chat once a week with my COVID doctor.
Retuned back to work a month and a half ago. COVID-19 is no joke.
Thank for for sharing it’s been very helpful while I battle COVID-19
I feel like a lot of my "lingering symptoms" are being brought on by anxiety . I also bought a pulse oximeter once I was diagnosed with pneumonia that was caused by Covid19 and it gave me a peace of mind . My blood oxygen level seem to always maintain 97-98% . Thanks for the update man
Yes! I still check my pulse oximeter when I feel bad. It does make you feel better knowing that your oxygen is good. I had one bad relapse that I just got better from. Hang in there! Glad you’re well
Great insight ... this and first video. Good health.
Jason? Please don't take this the wrong way but many folks have Covid19 but are asymptomatic. They show no signs of having it but are very contagious. We keep learning about it as we go. I have been in touch with my doctor via video chat. I want to get one of those finger thingies for my blood oxygen. I need a thermometer, scale and blood pressure machine so I can give my Dr my stats when I talk to him. You reminded me about those gadgets. 🙂 thank you so much for taking the time to inform us. I'll be checking out your other posts. They help me during this very rough time we're all going through.
Thanks. I’m not going to post further vids about this virus however. But thank you. Be safe and stay well!
I understand. Thank you for your videos about the virus. I did see where you are a minimalist? I need to be. I used to be then I got a grandbaby. My only grandchild. And lord only knows how she has all her stuff here with me but she does lol
I just want to thank you for the videos man it really made me feel better 👍👍
Glad you’re felling better and recovering. Sending you healing thoughts
I just watched both of your videos about this. Thanks for sharing, here's to a full and speedy recovery.
POOR YOU ! I HOPE YOU WILL BE LIKE NEW IGEN.. TAKE CARE !!!
Wow! You look so much more healthy! So glad you are progressing in your recovery!
These comments on this video & your 1st one are so interesting to read. You get a lot of ideas & knowledge. But anyways, glad you're still improving. And by the way, your camera or phone (which ever one you're using for uploads) is amazingly clear. Really professional looking.
I got covid in March , and have it now . Yup . 41 and I have the pinch in my chest , heart palpitations , the pinching is 24\7 been this way since the first battle w covid . Covid has long term effects. It's scary and doc pretend everything is fine . They keep saying you're fine go home rest and quarantine . It's like the twilight zone .
I’m having returned body aches and chills as we speak. I went to the ER because the cast pinching got so bad last weekend. This thing is crazy
Glad to hear your recovering well. You should link the thumb pulse meter under the video description for anyone that wants to find it or need to get one for whatever reason.
Good idea! Thx
Getting better I’ll keep you in my prayers🙏🏿 and happy belated Father’s Day hope you had a wonderful day but I don’t know how much fun you could be having with your family and being sick but still enjoyed another day here on BBC earth
Thank you for sharing your experience in an honest and open manner. Keep safe x
Am truly grateful to hear of your recovery...thank you again for sharing your experience. Continue to take good care of yourself.
Glad you're better! 🤎💜💙💚💛
Thanks u so much get well soon, I tested positive for Coronavirus currently admitted in hospital recovering hopefully going home tomorrow after 8days, it's very painfull scaring experience, I hope vaccine or cure come soon, play safe people
Glad you made it through! Take it easy in the days ahead
Thank you so much for sharing your story and for giving us all an update on your recovery. This really puts things into perspective. Blessings 🙏🏽
So glad you recovered and your family didn't fall ill! P.S. and consider taking a vitamin D supplement! :)
Thank you for the update. May you continue to heal and your family continues to remain healthy.
Thank you Jason. My story is very similar to yours came home from hospital yesterday in for five days feeling ok but worried about next few weeks will it come back no one can tell me.
All we can do is manage our symptoms. I’ve been back to the hospital for X-rays and even got checked for blood clots when my relapse got really bad. Just take care of your health 10fold from here on out my friend. Glad to hear you’re feeling better.
Glad to hear you are better. Praying for you to to get all the way back to health. Love and respect to you and your family!! Xx
Thank you for sharing information and your story. Hope you and your family continue to be safe 🙏🏾
I believe you 100 and I’m glad you are better ! It’s rough out there. Stay safe everybody. Sanitize!!!
Thank God your ok!!🙌🏽🙌🏽
But I sounds to me like you had it for a while before any symptoms showed up.
Has anyone else in your home got it?.or possibly had it and has are a-symtomatic?
No one else has got it. I did isolate as soon as I had chest pains. Its even possible that maybe my family was asymptomatic and I didn't catch it at the restaurant. . . no way to be sure. I'll be following up with doctors and we may explore the antibody test for the family.
Thanks for sharing your story, and I pray for a quick recovery.
Wow!! You look so much better!!! Thank goodness!!!
Ohh YAAA!! I’m glad this was in recommendations!!! I’m happy your family is doing good too 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙏🏽
Just my test 2 days ago, not having any symptoms like you had. Glad u and ur fam are doing well.
So glad to hear youre feeling better ánd that your family have been spared this dreadful illness.
Glad you are ok my friend
Very glad to hear Ur getting better by day. Our God is amazing.
Nice to know that Jah Rule is doing better. Now we need another album.
Hey man. Can you give us a little update on the whole covid status? How do you feel now? Did you start doing some random body workouts? Can you do the same number of repetitions/same volume? Do you feel like you have the same stamina as before contracting COVID?
Hey, I'm not making any more videos on it. But I'll comment here. One thing I didn't mention. After the first video , getting through the pneumonia was the worst part. LOTS of coughing. Even coughed up some blood ( which the doctor says comes with pneumonia but it freaked me out a bit ) At the time of this video I was too afraid to work out because of the occasional chest pains. I have started working out. Doing strength doesn't bother my breathing too much so I feel like I can stick with it. I'm certainly weaker than i was before but that's probably just due to to the lack of exercise and being sick for 30 days. So I've had to lighten the weight. But I hear from my fitness friends this isn't much different from when you take a break or start taking in less calories while healthy.
The right side of my lung still feels funny at the top of a full deep breath. Like i can feel it , i can't feel it on the left in the same way. This was the part of my lung that hurt so bad I went in to the ER.
So I haven't done any running or even any HIIT yet just out of precaution. I meet with my primary care this month and we'll talk about if I need to do any x-rays for blood clots or anything. Until then I'm just starting some yoga and a push pull legs split. I hope to be fully back in the game soon. I hope this helps. Take care
Thank you. I appreciate your posts.
Jason, did they check you for possible blood clots? D-Dimer blood test? I ask because of the vivid description of "pinches" inside your chest. You seemed to have recovered nicely.
I did go back. Months later the pinches came back during a relapse. I got a D-Dimer and it came back negative or “normal” 🤦🏾 I’m glad they didn’t find any but still not fun to have pain with no explanation. I hope you’re well!
I AM SO HAPPY YOU ARE OK NOW.THANK YOU FOR TELLING THIS HAVE A NICE DAY
Very glad to see you're OK.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I am v glad you are feeling better and your family is ok. Peace.
I'm glad you are ok! May you and all of your family stay safe and healthy!💞
Glad your feeling better man
Thanks Man!
Thank you for posting your video! So informative. Just curious did you guys use a surgical mask, cloth mask or n95 mask? I'm just trying to be as preventative as I can. The restaurant should have limited the outdoor capacity and its no telling how many other people could have also been infected. Thank you again for the update!
No we have cloth masks. Never got n95.
Here For the update to make sure everything is fine🙏🏿
Thank you for sharing your info with us. We are high risk so this really helpful as a reminder we need to stay secluded. Blessings. 🙏
Thanks for sharing. Glad you and your family are doing well.
I'm glad you made it thru dude
Glad u r okay u in your family 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'm glad your ok... just wondering what doing everything you did helps since you still got it... but thanks for the video
Yeah it’s tough. I think the lesson I learned was you have to be careful about where you go. Because everyone may not be taking precautions.
@@iamjasonthompson critical thinking is important... that's all I can say. If I said what I really wanna say youtube will delete my comment. Critical thinking will have people asking the right questions and staying healthy and surviving the illness
@@EveLovesGod yep I understand thanks for keeping it chill.
God bless you and your family! Praying for you all to stay safe and healthy ❤️thank you so much for sharing your story and info and caring so much about keeping others safe ❤️
Praise God! Thank you!
Happy to see that you're getting better 🙌🏽
Thank you so much for sharing. More people need to.
Glad you’re ok and your family is ok.
Good to see your alive and made it
Glad you’re feeling better 🙏🏾
In your other video, you mentioned that you called off work. Yet in a comment I think you wrote that you worked from home. I’m just trying to figure out the risks of where one could pick it up. Were you going to work out of your home during the time period that you might have been exposed? Thanks for sharing your information with us.
Glad that you have recovered!!
I'm so happy you made it!
God bless u brother glade to see u are well
Glad you're doing better.
Do you think you're able to continue working out at this point, or is that completely off the table? Working out is one of the most important things in my life and helps keep me physically and mentally healthy.
It depends on my check up. I haven't tried anything strenuous yet. But I would really like to get back to it. I was working out almost daily before I fell ill. I had recently lost 15 lbs. I'm sure this helped me get through it also. I did some yoga yesterday. Let me say, feeling any soreness after a workout brings back bad memories of the pain. I'm going to take it slow. weights and jump rope this week.
just subbed to your channel uch love i am staying safe also i tell my youtube family the same
thank you so much for sharing it means a lot!
Great to hear!
glad you're good!!
Please thank you for your video..i need help im currently in the hospital right now really scared..just needs something positive same as you took care not sure how I got it..but I do today is like my 8 days with the symptoms came to hosp cause I was feeling two tired the admitted me with pneumonia 2 days ago got discharge and had to come back because got worst the breathing is horrible can you share how long the breathing problems last
Hi actually it’s been 2 months and I still have an issue with pneumonitis. I can breath fine but this is a condition where my lungs are becoming inflamed. I have a doctor appointment on Tuesday. I had a diagnosis of pneumonia and pneumonitis from the ER. I didn’t go back but my first day was tough. About one week the breathing was fine but I was coughing up a lot of phlegm from the pneumonia. So maybe it took almost the entire 2 weeks before I was cough free
@@iamjasonthompson thank you so much for letting me know god bless you...this is very sad and scary😪😪
God Bless
That’s good to hear man
Since you had it do you now have immunity to it? If so, for how long?
What about the treatment you received in ER and what you are taking or doing at home to help get thru? Thks
They took an X-ray of my chest and saw the pneumonia , monitored my blood oxygen for a few hours, took blood. They skipped the cat scan because the chest X-ray showed then obvious infection. They only gave me standard stuff : ZPAK for the pneumonia (not the virus) , pain meds, and albuterol inhaler.
@@iamjasonthompson thanks I really appreciate it did you take Tylenol at home. If so how often
I guess Tylenol was the painkillers
Boom Shaka-Locka yeah that’s good for at home. They sent me home with Percocet. I don’t really like opioids so I didn’t take them.
Do you know your blood type? Glad you're feeling better. God Bless
The problem is is that these ppl they are going out to these restaurants go out and party at bars or at home. Ppl really aren't taking it seriously.
I'm glad your ok ✝️😁
glad you're okay dude, hope this is still finding you well.. cuz USA looks like ________
Thanks man. Yeah it’s rough over here. We stay pretty well quarantined now after this scare. Be well!
