I just watched your first video; so very sorry for your experience..😥 Mom just texted me yesterday and told me that my cousin in Chicago has this and was placed on a ventilator last Wednesday; however, his condition improved and he is now in ICU.. It’s going to take a literal act of a God to lift this deadly virus. People are truly and extremely selfish and have the mentality ‘I don’t SEE the virus, so I’m good!’ (Yes, I have HEARD this..🤦🏽‍♀️) Well, you don’t see gravity but unless you’re on PCP, no amount of money will cause you to jump off a cliff thinking that you’re going to live, right?🙄 I wish more would listen to the secular authorities/medical experts and SURVIVORS - and live!! Congrats on your recovery and THANK YOU for sharing your story!👍🏽 Stay safe!💙

Glad to hear you're doing OK. It's crazy that people think this is some type of hoax, and that they don't take it seriously. If everyone cared enough about each other to wear masks and socially distance themselves, our current situation with massive spikes in the south and west wouldn't be happening. Stay strong!

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m glad you have not transmitted the virus to your family because most transmission occurs in family units or congregate living or crowds in which people are in close contact for 10 minutes or more.
It is even possible that one of your family members, particularly children, asymptotically transmitted it to you.
Even though we may be careful, our close contacts also expose us indirectly to their close contacts.

Glad you made it safe! I had same symptoms you had except I didn't have pneumonia. I went to clinic and got x-rayed, Thanks to God my lungs appeared clear. I have a distant cousin who is my godfather died from covid. May he rest in peace, no funeral was planned so it's sad. But he was getting up there in age and was overweight his whole life, so it's kinda expected unfortunately. But prayers to everyone in this world who are vulnerable and hope we get a reliable vaccine going. Blessings to all people helping others with covid. In Jesus name, Amen!

Like you, I was doing all the right things. In March I was masked before anyone I knew and following guidelines while going to work.
I had to self quarantine the month of April. I'm an essential worker and contracted COVID from a coworker. He actually took out 4 of us. My symptoms started on April 1 with high fever. Thank goodness I only had mild symptoms: sore throat, diarrhea, fever and fatigue.
I never had to go to the hospital. I had virtual treatment phone calls each day for my symptoms check (already had blood pressure monitor and thermometer store away) and Zoom chat once a week with my COVID doctor.
Retuned back to work a month and a half ago. COVID-19 is no joke.

Jason? Please don't take this the wrong way but many folks have Covid19 but are asymptomatic. They show no signs of having it but are very contagious. We keep learning about it as we go. I have been in touch with my doctor via video chat. I want to get one of those finger thingies for my blood oxygen. I need a thermometer, scale and blood pressure machine so I can give my Dr my stats when I talk to him. You reminded me about those gadgets. 🙂 thank you so much for taking the time to inform us. • @iamjasonthompson
      @iamjasonthompson  4 года назад

Hey, I'm not making any more videos on it. But I'll comment here. One thing I didn't mention. After the first video , getting through the pneumonia was the worst part. LOTS of coughing. Even coughed up some blood ( which the doctor says comes with pneumonia but it freaked me out a bit ) At the time of this video I was too afraid to work out because of the occasional chest pains. I have started working out. Doing strength doesn't bother my breathing too much so I feel like I can stick with it. I'm certainly weaker than i was before but that's probably just due to to the lack of exercise and being sick for 30 days. So I've had to lighten the weight. But I hear from my fitness friends this isn't much different from when you take a break or start taking in less calories while healthy.
The right side of my lung still feels funny at the top of a full deep breath. Like i can feel it , i can't feel it on the left in the same way. This was the part of my lung that hurt so bad I went in to the ER.
So I haven't done any running or even any HIIT yet just out of precaution. I meet with my primary care this month and we'll talk about if I need to do any x-rays for blood clots or anything. Until then I'm just starting some yoga and a push pull legs split. I hope to be fully back in the game soon. I hope this helps. Take care

In your other video, you mentioned that you called off work. Yet in a comment I think you wrote that you worked from home. I’m just trying to figure out the risks of where one could pick it up. Were you going to work out of your home during the time period that you might have been exposed? Thanks for sharing your information with us.

Do you think you're able to continue working out at this point, or is that completely off the table? Working out is one of the most important things in my life and helps keep me physically and mentally healthy.

It depends on my check up. I haven't tried anything strenuous yet. But I would really like to get back to it. I was working out almost daily before I fell ill. I had recently lost 15 lbs. I'm sure this helped me get through it also. I did some yoga yesterday. Let me say, feeling any soreness after a workout brings back bad memories of the pain. I'm going to take it slow. weights and jump rope this week.

Hi actually it’s been 2 months and I still have an issue with pneumonitis. I can breath fine but this is a condition where my lungs are becoming inflamed. I have a doctor appointment on Tuesday. I had a diagnosis of pneumonia and pneumonitis from the ER. I didn’t go back but my first day was tough. About one week the breathing was fine but I was coughing up a lot of phlegm from the pneumonia. So maybe it took almost the entire 2 weeks before I was cough free

They took an X-ray of my chest and saw the pneumonia , monitored my blood oxygen for a few hours, took blood. They skipped the cat scan because the chest X-ray showed then obvious infection. They only gave me standard stuff : ZPAK for the pneumonia (not the virus) , pain meds, and albuterol inhaler.

Boom Shaka-Locka yeah that’s good for at home. They sent me home with Percocet. I don’t really like opioids so I didn’t take them.
