    Thank you for getting the word out! My perspective has changed on Covid as well now that I’ve had it for three weeks. Starting to feel stronger and better finally! And thank God! But I had a few moments that I have never felt closer to death which scared me to the core. People don’t seem to understand how serious it is and I am devoted to getting the word out and to helping others through it. I have symptoms that come and go, and even that can be scary because it feels like I’ve made headway and then I wonder if I did something to bring it on again. God bless you and your family.

    Good to see you back again - you “look” well! (I get tired of hearing that myself! 😉) And you’re pretty smooth on camera. You SHOULD try out the acting thing! I was March. Gastro. Neuro. 30lbs weight loss. Vocal loss. Others. Fatigue is the only thing really waned. Still not great and definitely trouble doing ANY exercise. But to your point, I’m back to Making. Photography is my (non-exercise) thing, and I’m finally back at that, doing night urban instead of landscape because hiking is out. But it works. Feels good to get creative again. So you’re right on. Keep the faith and keep up with the videos - you’re a natural.

But it’s a hobby at best. I hope to dig into it and videography for the sake of the channel. Add me on IG. @iamjasonthompson I’d love to see some of your shots. I’ll definitely keep it up here. So glad I found your channel. I’m currently on Day 6 of my Covid infection and thank God, my symptoms have not been serious. But as I’ve read, all of this can change at the drop of a hat, especially on day 7-8. With 7-8 being the next two days for me my mind races and I worry as I wait for the shoe to drop. However seeing this video and your previous Covid video have really given me peace. I appreciate you sharing your journey, including all of its scary places and sweet victories. I appreciate you man. Glad to see you're doing better , I have in the past few weeks came almost full circle and almost back to normal . I can honestly say that the "post COVID" was worse for me than when I had COVID. It took about 12 weeks after it to regain my energy and full strength and I had this weird lightheadedness almost everyday . I still get weird pains in my chest and rib cage but Xrays have come back normal . I was concerned that I my have suffered damage to my heart but test says otherwise and that my heart is fine . I feel lucky to be here , no I didn't need to be hospitalized but having the pneumonia from it really kicked my butt and ran me through the ringer. I feel for the ones that had to be vented I can only imagine for the ones that survive how hard it will be for them .
    Glad you're doing good man you're videos gave me hope and talking to you though comments gave me a light at the end of the tunnel .

      Happy you’re recovering bro. The chest pains are surely scary. But I experienced the EXACT same thing. I got an X-ray and checked for clots when i started having chest pains again. My relapse was just as bad as the first time just without the lung swelling. So trust me when I say I know how you feel. I’m glad the video helped and that we who are suffering through this can lean on one another. Be well. Happy New Year.

But thank God, I seem to be finally getting through it. I agree with you, I feel heartbroken for the people who have had it even worse, not to mention died. This is very real and very scary and people need to be awake about it! God bless you

      Did any of you get an ultrasound for the chest, my husband has chest pain and did X-rays and everything came back fine. But he then got an ultrasound and now it shows that his right vertical is very enlarged. Now just waiting a month to see if it’s still enlarged.

  • @yasip9897
    @yasip9897 3 года назад

    Amen! I’m glad you are feeling much improved. It might be a good idea to look into post viral syndrome. Many doctors think this is what the long term condition is. On a positive note, I have a lot of residual muscle and joint pain, but my lungs are much better (I still get a tickle sensation in them now and again - just not daily as before). My hair is growing back (I had lost a lot of it towards the front of my scalp). I’m much less fatigued than I was in previous months. I do still have insomnia sometimes, but I sleep much better at night. I think I mentioned I experienced pressure spikes on your last video - well I did ultimately develop high blood pressure from it unfortunately and now have to take daily medication and consume pressure controlling foods. My post infection pressure jump was more than 30+ points, from a daily normal of 120/80 or lower to 150/100 + (which is quite high).
    All and all I am thankful to God for every new day. This is going on 10 months for me, but hopefully “normal” is around the corner. I am hoping and praying everyday that complete recovery will be the reality for us all. 😊 I saw a video somewhere about a long hauler who had been complaining about joint inflammation. He had previously had two Covid tests and they were negative, but when they drained the fluid from his joints and tested the fluid to see what was going on there, the fluid was Covid positive. So, it’s pretty apparent that even though many long haulers tested negative, it doesn’t mean evidence of the infection isn’t present somewhere in the inflammed areas. I think it’s also important to note that not everyone develops antibodies. So stay masked up! My next move for pain management is to try trigger point therapy, acupressure and lymphatic drainage with body brushing in hopes that might help get some of the fluid out. Not because there’s any science behind them- they’ve just helped with pain in the past and I need something now that I can’t take NSAIDs anymore. Happy New Year guys and stay safe! 😊

      Your message came at a good time … covid uprooted my life and made everything difficult, as it did for many. So recording took a back seat. Then I began to think… people don’t want to hear me just post about how hard life is, so that kept me from creating. I started my channel to inspire people to create. So it felt wrong.
