God that was the worst Katie bollter played and she's returning to the nottingham open to defend the title shell be out first round if we get another dreadful performance like that again.

Clay is completely different to grass.

Katie has unfortuately been brought up on British indoor hard courts and carpet, and is gonna struggle on a slower surface that requires you be able to build a point and not just slam winners into the corners. She will do much better on a fast surface like grass.

a forehand slice passing shot winner?? not very amateurish at all, requires great technique and control and before you say something about the drive volley not being good enough, true but they're on a clay court, much harder to hit volley winners
