Tbh I don't think it's a problem. This IS a highlights package after all, and I already know who's likely to advance from these heats, I just wouldn't want them to do something like this for the final).

Nah, it was expected to be fast between those two. I didn’t think it would go sub 49 but I thought maybe 49.0 - 49.1. The time wasn’t that surprising since they’re both very talented and have endurance in the last 100m

To think the Swedish man Erik Erlandsson wasn’t going to be allowed to run in the final even though he qualified for it, and he ended up 4th. Imaginge what he may have done with a better track. And he’s only 20 years old and this being his championships debut, that’s insane.
some athletes reach their potential at a very young age. nothing says that he will progress much. I'm thinking of Christophe Lemaitre but there are others, who did his best times when he was 20/21 years old. for this E.Erl athlete nothing is guaranteed, maybe you just attended the best championships he will ever do.

Nora Lindahl also did a very good result for being her first championships and being only 19.
