I expected the Dutch to win, but I was really impressed by Adeleke. She's only 21 YO and is already a world-class athlete.
Yeah, if she took the last race, maybe be irl would be winners
disgusting
Bol & Klaver understandably get the plaudits, but NED has really benefited from Cathelijn Peeters improving her indoor 400m PB from 52.94 to 52.01 earlier this yr & her outdoor 400m PB from 51.73 to 51.08 (which has also helped improve her 400mH PB from 54.56 to 54.32). Also, moving Klaver to 1st leg from 2nd leg where she usually gets too caught up in the battle with IRL's Adeleke was very smart! NED needs the likes of De Witte (51.44 SB) & Saalberg (52.18 SB) to at the very least get close to their respective 50.77 & 51.22 PBs in Paris!
Definitely, Peeters is ahead from the 3 runners by quite a margin. Bol can't do it herself but if she and Klaver performs, they will be a good contender for gold in Paris. But of course, the US has a hoard of 400 sprinters they can choose from but if Sydney is in there, it's going to be tough to beat.
I believe Klaver is being overused in Roma 2024 where she is being pushed to her limits in terms of stamina. I believe she participated the most competitions in the Dutch team, which is something that the Dutch team needs to manage in the future. It is why she always get caught up by her opponent with other athletes.
@@ncode03 US W4x4 will likely be Syd, Athing, Gabby & Kaylyn Brown who're going to be in their own race. The interesting race will be between NED, GB & JAM for Silver & Bronze.
Yes, the second and third Dutch runners deserved the medal , they both did their best. Klaver was rather normal and Bol failed. Here are the facts. She lost six meters ... both Ireland and Belgium last Athletes ran faster than Femke Bol ./ The two supposed best Dutch runners are indebted to the supposed humble fellow runners.
@@perroguerrero9568 Klaver, Bol & Adeleke all ran 4 races each @Roma '24 while IRL's Sharlene Mawdsley ran the most with 5 races! Actually think over a 9 day schedule in Paris that Klaver is capable of 6 races; 3 rounds of the W400m & just the Finals of the Mixed 4x4, W4x1 & W4x4 IF her teammates can get the job done w/o her in the Semis!
Bol makes it so easy and calm!!! 😀😀😀
Bol with a lead and jumbotrons means she can just cruise and let them chase as hard as they want before shutting the door
Stupid, the facts are, she lost six meters ./ She failed.
But why?? Why not try to get the best time possible?
@@vampiresforesl there'd be no point in doing that, especially before Olympics
@@vampiresforeslUnnecessary waste of energy and more risk of injury eight weeks before Paris.
because the priority is winning. Remember a couple years back Bol fell a few metres from the line in the mixed relay. First win, secondly worry about the time. Especially important in a team event
Well done Ireland

Bol looked like she was out for a Sunday afternoon jog--she's AMAZING!!!
Ireland has some excellent 400m runners, but that monster Adeleke, is a beauty to watch, and she's only getting better. Congrats Ireland.

Bol just playing with her food there. She could have easily dusted them on the back stretch and win by 40m, but she let them push themselves
I waited for this one. Thank you!
Bol was just chillin' :') she ran at like 80% effort
No that's her flat out, it just looks like she's not at 100% but she most definitely is at max speed threshold

Cathelijn Peeters❤ big improvement and awesome second leg.
Speed and beauty on display there..........what fine athletes for Europe this year.........well run.
Since 1990 British womens team won 7 medals & rest of the 4 they finished 4th.
A very sad moment for British athletics that this time there was no participation for the womens team
I just broke the repeat button. ❤
Damn Ireland are fucking rocking it in 2024
well ya, bring in non-irish to promote their genocide of their own country
Bol just out for a stroll
I know many Dutch fans are very happy with the results they see in Roma 2024 for both the women's and men's side. But I think they should also notice that Lieke Klaver was very crucial in Dutch's success and I personally think that she is being overloaded with so many competitions such as the Women's 4x400m relay, Mixed 4x400m relay, and Women's 400m. Klaver was showing some level of fatigue in the later stages of the competition and she is falling short of stamina. Just check her performance in the Women's 400m and Mixed 4x400m, she always ran out of gas or ran out of stamina when she is just about to finish her run. This is something that the Dutch needs to pay attention to in the future.
Bol ran the same number of races as Klaver
@@francescostano4445 Then what explains why Klavar always fall short of stamina when is about to finish her run? It's kind of weird to me.
@@perroguerrero9568 it's because Klaver is slower
@@perroguerrero9568klaver tends to sometimes buckle under pressure and not always run her own race, a great example was the 4x400 mix, she was running Adeleke race not her own, hence why she ran out. She is her worst enemy sometimes. She needs to take notes from deWitte and Bol, to better understand running her own race and not focus on the rest. She is also primarily a former 100m and 200 runner before moving up to the 400 3 or 4 years ago. Because she used to be a standard name in the 4x100 relay once Daphne was slowly coming at the end of her career
I feel Klaver tends to run the first 200 too fast and then try to hold on during the last 200. She needs to do it the other way.
The Spanish team may not have won, but they are still winners.
USA 400m women's semi-finals in Olympic trials are imminent. So much depth - looks like a 49 might be required to proceed to the final! Top 7 finalists could easily be taken to Olympics to cover 3 off individual 400m runners and then 4 others for the mixed relay and the women's relay heats (on the same day as 400m final). All other nations are likely competing for silver.
Mind you, that part of the race is where the public will be watching with interest and cheering though the cameras will be mainly on USA.....
The Irish 2nd leg running was the real MVP. Was Bol trolling the field?
that African dude is so gross
😊🙏 Congratulations to the winning Dutch 4 x 400m Team & to the fast improving Ireland Team too! Thank You So Much to All for this fantastic race indeed! 🌷🌿🌏✌💜🕊
That awkward moment when you give everything, catch up with Femke, and she just puts on next gear...
I love how any suspense is ruined by the thumbnail for the video.
I'm quite sure Femke Bol is a T-1000!
Plaudits. Nice one Webster!
Las imágenes son fabulosas, reflejan el gran esfuerzo de las atletas, creo que una de las corredoras de Irlanda hizo el tiempo más rápido
Femke only raced the last few strides of her leg 😂
How do we get a 4x400 team calendar.?? 😊
Dutch are awesome
I have a feeling that Bol didn't give everything to the end. She wanted to see how much her rivals would press her
No shit

Why are they wearing swim suit? There is no pool or beach for them to swim!😂😂😂
The name is Bol
Femke Bol
Bol looked either tired, slow or was sand bagging. Hope she gets chance to rest and has a strong showing in Olympics.
Kaczmarek had to run on the outside lane on both bends, she had to run at least 10 meters more distance, she tried !

Love the running, full respect. The chatter of the commentator is invasive, I turn the sound down but miss out on the sound of the crowd.
Finally !! some good running from runners other than Bol and Klaver! They may have a chance in Paris !
Just the six relay golds so far in recent years !
No Sweity, no medal for Poland
Her absence is clearly a factor.
Also no Anna Kielbasinska :(
Justyna Święty was not necessary here. This team should have won a medal. Unfortunately something happened to Marika Popowicz at the end of the second leg - medical assistance was provided to her after the race. Sadly the Polish team lost too much ground and Natalia Kaczmarek (who had a cold that day) was not able to make it up. She also had some problems at the end of the race.
@@grzegorzlipski6078 So Marika is her name. Yes, she lost 5 places. Hope she recovered well. Natalia could not do much then. She could have saved fourth place but decided to try the impossible. No big deal. This team will come back.
Yes it is true, Marika faded badly at the end of her leg and then required medical assistance. Luckily she recovered quickly. There was not much Iga Baumgart could do on the 3rd leg. To make thing worse Natalia Kaczmarek didn't feel well that day. She almost closed the gap, but "lost power" on the last turn and had to give up. Afer the race Natalia also consulted a doctor and got some medication. Anyway that was a bad day for the Polish women's relay team. It was the first time the Poles walked away from the European Athletics Championships (outdoor, indoor or team) without a medal since the 2016 Championships in Amsterdam. BTW: As you probably know Justyna Święty was in Rome, but she is still returning to form.
As usual, the Awesomeness of the Dutch Ladies shines through.
Nicee
femke being femke … just cruising in the middle 200 meters. Conserving her final kick.
Should be a competitive 4x400 between the Netherlands and the US. We just need the US to get the stick around the track legally this time.
The Netherlands has no chance against the U.S. A-team.
Yes, these two teams will be looking at each other in the Olympics. But the US team has a more difficult coaching challenge, which is picking the right four for prelims and the final. The absolute dream conclusion would be a final in which you have Bol and Sydney as anchors, either for the mixed or women’s 4x400 or both. But the US bench is so deep. Remember Alexis Holmes did the impossible and ran down Bol (all the headlines said Bol fell…well, she fell because Holmes ran her down) and there are so many athletes to choose from. Alexis Holmes currently is the SIXTH fastest US woman in the open 400. The US has NINE out of the top 20 open 400 times this year. And a likely finalist, Abby Steiner, isn’t on that list because she hasn’t run the open 400. I personally think the US coaches will concentrate on beating Belgium in the mixed 4x400 by getting out too far ahead of Doom. They have the luxury of then picking a final four women in the 4x400 who can get too far ahead of (or catch!) Bol. But everyone knows the linchpin is Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone. What can she take in terms of numbers of races? Will be a very exciting Olympics and I hope it’s not marred by DQs or DNFs or other drama. Just my two cents! 😊 🇺🇸
@@johnlironix2184 I’m not going to say no chance. The Netherlands has done a good job of putting together a fairly solid team.
@@tommyrq180i feel Belgium and Ireland are at such an imbalance. If i can toss the Belgian Boys with the Irish girls would be a dream team but Balengo does give the Belgium team a slight advantage over the Irish. Definitely USA, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands and Dominican Republic in my eyes the front runners for that mixed title. Which should be exciting. The Dutch is determined for a gold in the mix since the fall. They got a taste and has medalled every race since but in different dutch interviews they said, they need to get their mixed relay race sorted out for a gold.
@@MrCvjalexander Still too slow to beat the US team.
Love it! I’m an American, and id love to see those Nederlanders beat the USA girls next month. Sydney vs Femke on the anchor leg……that’ll be some drama!,
Arkansas ran a 3:17.94…..Dutch will not win Gold in Paris
I mean the USA have better 400m runners but if Europe was to put they best 400m runners we know what the results would be plus 2 of the girls from the Arkansas team are not American and will not be representing USA amber anning(GBR) AND NICKESHA Pryce(jam) just because they go to college in America don't make them American 😂
High altitude so shouldn't count
Adeleke needs to be the anchor for the Irish squad.
My sentiments exactly.
Nah Mawdsley has been a great anchor. They need someone to set them back in position. And Adeleke does a great job of that. Not everyone is great at catching up. I feel Mawdsley always over performs in relays. They need a more solid third leg runner. You can easily say the same about Belgium, their strongest leg is their third to put them back in position. Ireland has a very lets get in lead instead of let's catch up kinda race. They would rather be ahead of others with Mawdsley on the last leg than be a bit more behind and give Adeleke more to do (like Poland that doesn't always work for Kazmarek)
Not so sure about that. Still raw at times.

@@alialibaba1886 Złe ustawieni to przyczyna braku medalu.
Kaczmarek strategies didnt work.. pity that they out of medalist contender
Well, Natalia Kaczmarek had little choice. The Polish team was in a difficult situation and she wanted to close that gap quickly. Unfortunately Natalia didn't feel well that day and lost power on the last turn. If Kaczmarek has been healthy she would most likely have finished third.

But the real question is who is the most beautiful 400m runner or the most beautiful relay team? In my eyes, Blanca Hervás is in a very promising position.
That really isn't the question at all. Do you know why? Because no one is asking the question who is the best looking footballer at the current Euro 2024 either. It seems except for you, everyone else has grown out of reducing athletes regardless of gender entirely to their looks. 🤡

#2 team; typical Irish gal!
Femke Bol is a great long distance sprinter. She needs to "sprint" as she's coming around the turn. She then needs to relax her shoulder muscles and upper body, so she can inhale more air into her lungs in order to increase her sprint. This is how you put a major gap between the other runners. She needs to work on this if NED is to beat the Americans and Jamaicans.
These armchair coaches telling top level athletes how to run will never stop being hilarious. 😂

Wow!! The Africans....sorry...new Europeans got beat.
Lieke Klaver did a rather normal performance, nothing amazing nothing great in it, but the second and third Dutch runners did so well and allowed to reach to gold medal. They both raised to their summit. Ireland and Belgium last athletes ran both faster than Femke Bol, who lost perhaps six meters ! Bol Failed, that is what i clearly noticed. here is a precise and honest review.
Lol, Bol didn't fail, she did exactly enough. She didn't need to go faster, she was fully in control.
Eveline Saalberg was not in this race. It was in order: Lieke Klaver, Cathelijn Peeters, Lisanne de Witte, and Femke Bol.
Also Femke Bol held back in the first half, which is clearly visible in the footage, and also what she said herself afterwards. She did not fail, she won.
