This is definitely one of my favorite interviews with him. I don't think he was drunk here, just younger and enthusiastic about being at the premiere. Is there more to this video available? It looks like the interviewer is about to ask another question when it cuts off.
Gosh, I just love 90s' Alan. This was when he was super new and fresh-faced in Hollywood and he didn't have the poise and elegance he did in his later years. I love that side of him too, but he was so adorable and lovable here. What a great talent we have lost.
Poor Maisie, if I was her, I'd die of laughter if he asked me so and wouldn't be able to finish...Anywayz, it always makes me curious how such forced couples get on in real life. RH PoT is on my "Hindi translation probable for dubbing" bucketlist; I'd like to see how Nirbhay Wadhwa (candidate to dub Sheriff) and Parineeti Chopra (candidate for Marian) will get on after the recordings.
@@Elizabethloveit93 I'm sure one of the reasons he loved the role is because he had one of the best lines in film history: "Why a spoon, cousin?" "Because it will hurt more, YOU TWIT!" Bonus: "And cancel Christmas!"

Hiii Mary Elisabeth! I love him in these interviews, he seems almost a little drunk :p I wish my name was Mary Elisabeth right now! -3 But what's up with the hamster-smile at 0:47? O.o
I got to meet Alan this week after a performance of John Gabriel Borkman in Dublin. He is definitely not as upbeat as he was here, but a magnificent performer nonetheless.
I think the woman with him is Marcia Firesten. I also think he and Rima were having a 'break' from each other at this time, but fortunately got together again .
Wow he has changed. I've never seen him that excited lately. But well, that was only his second big film and he was young there so I can imagine he's more used to it now...
Clean shaven and facilay hair awesomely suits him i miss this guy aswell, Bruce Willis for Die Hard 1 and Kevin Costner for Robin Hood Prince fo theives he portrays villian to diffrent actors and its awesome too.
Hey everyone, I'm here in 2024. I had recently watched Robin Hood, and I was wondering what extra stuff they had. I saw Alan Rickman on this and thought, I'd love to see this man smile and make my day. I do wanna say rip Alan Rickman 🕊️❤
No I'm not sure, he kept his private life private. I read an article that mentioned that for a time he and Rima had separate flats but it's possible this had something to do with her running for a seat in local government. I don't think it matters anyway, they were together for a very long time which is the important thing. I hope she's doing ok.
I wonder if Catherine O'Hara partly modelled her voice/accent for Moira Schitt (From Schitt's Creek) based on Alan Rickman's. Definitely some similar inflections between the 2

He's definitely not resting, he's as alive as you are, and no doubt busy as always. Sorry, but no such thing as death just going back home as it were. He's very much in control of himself here, natural as always, and having a good time, Lovely vid.
Lanie westcott Kevin was awful in that movie! Rickman didn’t want to do it, as the script was so bad, he only agreed after being allowed to rewrite his own parts and ad-lib. Rickman made that movie AND made it watchable. He was one of the best Sheriffs ever. Not to mention Kevin’s god awful ‘English’ accent.
@@willowmadhuridixit8991 Waaa I didn't know he rewritten his character, and maybe also some part. Yes. The film circles around his performance. He so damn good in playing Nottingam.
I don't know why Alan was never voted "Sexiest Man Alive" by People Magazine!
He was in the Empire one tho. He placed 8th
