I just purchased 2 weeks ago a Jet Fighter Gray 2023 Mach 1 and we've all said it before but this time, if they get me to trade this one in and pry it outta my hands Ford will have to make a Mustang that just blows me away like nothing I've ever seen before.
Looks so much better than the s650. No damn screens
Love it in mischievous purple. I much prefer this over the 24 S650 refresh for sure, and am thrilled to have my 21 GT. Plan on having it for a very long time.
The s550 was the best looking mustang until the s650 arrived. It takes the sleek, almost exotic shape of the s550, but sharpens it up in places.
It makes perfect sense that Ford went to the giant screen on the new mustang. It’s hip, it’s techy, and it looks modern; pretty much the antithesis of “Mustang.” Ford aimed towards appealing to Gen Z. Im sure the new mustang will sell really well because there are tons of mid 20 year olds that will be buying the 50-60k sports car.
All they did was add a Carbon Air filter ....they call it. It really is just an Air Restrictor to drop HP for California laws.. easy to remove, just take off your air filter, there are 3 clips you have to push out and it comes right out and you get back up to 480 ish HP
I agree 100% with you about the 2024 Mustang interior. Unlike with the exterior, Ford gave the assignment to an interior design team that had zero understanding of Mustang heritage. It's as if they said "just get it done" and that was it. Shame on Ford!
To me, the interior on the ‘24 is a modern take on the fox body Mustang. The gauge pod in it is not unlike the screen offered now. Look at the rest of the interior without the screens, and I think you might see it too. The fox interior was quite a departure from the classic Mustang interior.
Have a 23 in racing red with handling pack and the 6 speed tremec ... Awesome car !
If I can be completely honest, the Mustang, in my opinion at least has always had this dual personality. It is both a muscle car and a traditional sports car depending on what you're looking for in a Mustang. This couldn't be more apparent now that there's the new GTD. Not to mention that in the 60s, the Mustang has gone racing which further emphasizes the fact that it is not solely a muscle car, but also a sports car. Regardless, this dual personality is why people gravitate towards this car. In other words, there's a Mustang for everyone if you will.

I have a 2022 mach 1 its the baddest mf ford ever made its the GT350 but better the 5.0 is so dependable and can be modified so easy if you want more speed but its fast as heck the way it comes

I have one, lol. Mine is a 2023 Shadow Black Mach 1.
I own a '15 GT and really want to upgrade but the 2024 just doesn't do it for me. The GT's front bumper is so ugly. That gloss black lipgloss is just weird looking. The Dark Horse is much better but the name is just so...girly. idk it just reminds me of Katy Perry and does nothing for me. Its also really pricey for being a minor upgrade over the GT. I was really hoping for a Boss 302 around 60-65k but we'll see what they do with the s650. For now ill hold off or get something else.

How did you know that i want one right now 😂 Yes i like it even tho im german and they dont have all the parts then the american ones. Anyways i like it im just a bit worried about value over time when the s650/dark horse comes out. In the past us cars didnt hold theyr values at least not in the eu…unfortunate
ps: i dont like the back and side of the new mustang because the side is to soft they removed the edge like on the m4 and the tail with this deep cut on the taillights…nah…not speaking of the int, everyone knows.
The reason why 2022 and beyond Mach 1s have less horsepower is because of the stricter emissions regulations
The perfect S550 is the pre-facelift front end with the post-facelift rear.
I'm sorry but in no way, shape or form does the Mach 1 do 0-60 in 3.8 - 3.9 s lol. It's been tested at 4.9s the lowest. Please don't just regurgitate Ford HQ BS.

First thing I’d have to do is change out that ball shifter knob can’t stand those this is definitely better than the 24 mustang imo
Base Mach1 MSRP is $58k the one you have here,the performance package $62k Yes dealers are overpriced this cars.

Too many buttons on the steering wheel IMO. I'm a purist in how a sports car steering wheel should look. Beefy and simple with a focus on performance driving.
