  • How to change gen 3 zx10r spark plugs the EASY way
    no need to remove the tank or drop the motor
    2008 2009 2010 Kawasaki zx10-r maintenance and spark plug removal
    tools needed
    -phillips screw driver
    -14mm wrench
    -factory spark plug socket (could not find a link to buy one if lost)
    -4mm Allen wrench
    -5mm Allen wrench
    -channel lock pliers (optional but highly recommended)
    -flash light (optional)
    -magnetic retrieving tool (optional)

    Nice video! I’m sure these spark plugs come factory coated with anti seize, the solid black spark plugs don’t. I read that they can possibly work back out the cylinder head and also the torque will not be correct. Is that true?

      Thank you! Having a hard time finding a tail piece in the same color though. Doesn’t look like they made many in the burnt candy orange

      It should be a 14mm but you’ll need that special wrench more than likely to get a proper angle

      That is a great question my friend, I wanted to put a link for it but couldn’t seem to find any online, I never asked a dealer but they may be able to order them. Sorry I couldn’t help

      The tank stayed on the bike and fuel/ fuel line stayed as is
