Putting _a clean line drawing for a colouring book_ at the beginning of prompts works for me 100% of the time in terms of generating *only* line drawings.

You can create your own private server and then invite the MJ Bot to your server. That way you keep your work private and you don't have to sift through everyone else's generations.
The stars on the listings are not sales volume count, they are reviews of the product that was purchased. The sales numbers would actually be much higher because only a small percentage of people use those reviews. Amazon used to display the sell thru rate of a product, but that was way back before 2012, it might not be there now...

Your personal and KDP accounts won't cross (totally different sign-in pages). And if I can remember correctly, it's preferred by Amazon to used the same email.. don't quote me on that though.

Market too saturated that you’ll need to sell for the lowest dollar amount in order to make sales. Also while making a long coloring book. Too much time for a lottery contest to see who writes better prompts on leonardo AI. Has anyone actually had success and is still doing it because it’s worth it?

It's an uphill battle. First, you have to check if your title is trademarked. You don't want the head ache of back and forth emails with the Amazon. Second, your cover should have a good cover to stand out. Also, if you are using those AI generating apps, make sure that the images generated does not have that uncanny valley feel. It'll be much better if you know how to edit your images in Photoshop. Lastly, you need to learn about Amazon ads. Leaving your book hanging will depend on luck or fate but it really needs an Ad boost which most content creators vaguely share. Good luck!
Just a suggestion, so you dont lose your work in the workspace where everyone else is doing theirs, do a private chat with the midjourney bot or create your own server and add the midjourney bot to your server so that way all you see is your work.
The title's a bit misleading here. You're not realistically going to make that amount of money using AI to make coloring books, it's just not going to happen unless you spend years and years at it and you have incredible products in hungry not so competitive niches. For a more realsitic figure, I think if you put in hard work and make say 100 coloring books you might maybe make a few hundred a month, but you'd also likely need to spend money to sell them using ads.
Oh sorry I didn't realize my titles were supposed to reflect the lowest possible amount you could make with a hustle while also specifying a specific the largest amount of work that might be necessary...gonna need more than 70 characters for all that...

I'm in kdp business and the first minutes i see this is not a serious video. When you sell a book 5,99 on amazon, there is NO WAY you earn 3 dollars... For a 8,5X11 book with 100 pages you earn 0,75 dollar. SO this guy teach a thing he really don't know...
Exactly. $5.99 will never make $3 royalty per book due to production costs and Amazon’s share. This is true for small (6x9 of smaller) and large page sizes. Also, this book is not public domain. And there’s no way the covers that he showed for his books are selling that well. You need a very good cover to stand out and organically attract buyers. While he showed the amount of searches from BookBolt, he didn’t show that majority of those niches for coloring books have 30k+ competition. Some even have 60k+ competition. And yes, most successful coloring books on Amazon are every other page for designs to allow the user to color with markers that bleed. Finally, low content books have not been banned and I don’t know what he’s talking about them not being free anymore to publish. Amazon stopped giving them ISBNs in 2022 but they still allow them. I know because I have a mix or high and low content books that sell.

Were you able to sell without running ads?
Yes. 2 books seemed to do well. Mandala Celtic style book did good and then a few animal emotion ones. The rest were nothing.
