I'll say something... And I'll keep saying it... Mike Bello is a "Genius Master Craftsman"
"if you're doing this kind of work you need to put the tools down"...truer words were never spoken..
Back yard boogie used to be getting some panocha.
😂
You have a great talent for turning someone else's dumpster fire into a well-engineered and well built product. And in this day and age it's great to watch a man who actually believes in doing right by people.
I think the thing I really appreciate about your work is that you take things a step or two above the next guy. Your plates and brackets are thicker, better designed, and more thought out. That goes for the rest of the builds as well. Fuel lines, air lines, sheet metal, all of it.
Mike you can unbolt the front crossmember on a 1962 to 66 ,and take a crossmember from a 1976 and up disc brake front crossmember with power steering and it bolts in...
You have to move the steering box to out side the frame and drill two holes and use two spacers...
It takes about 4 to 6 hours...
It's a great way to update your truck to have power steering and power disc bakes...
great job. In the beginning of the video I saw how bad the tie rods looked and was like Mike is not letting that leave the shop like that, he'll fix that and by the end I was right. sweet job
You called it right at the beginning, Mike: "Whoever did this needs to put their tools down". Pronto!! Great fix!
Just don't piss off the video guy...he's by far the best one to date. 🧐
What makes this video stand out from the rest is the interaction between the 3 of them and you have a story within a story Mikes relationship with Carapilla & then His relationship with the Videography & explaining to them & us his understanding of the situation & the way in which he intends to put it right coming from the UK our access to the Custom Car World is limited & we are dripping fed what ever motortrend or discovery decides we are going to see
But what we get with Mike is Top Quality bare bones Hot Rod design & build based on years of experience & it’s that honest approach coupled with the cameraman’s ability to capture it all & edit it out which makes us the viewer feel we are there
I for one look forward to Sunday evenings when I get the opportunity to watch a true craftsman man at work & I thank all involved
As for me I live in South Wales & I drove a 1949 Ford Popular/Anglia powered by a Buick 3.9 litre V8 on a full race chassis it’s brilliant Red runs a shortened Volvo 240 axle on 15x50 rear tyres so it’s fat & narrow & fast
Real AMERICAN HERO💪🏻💪🏻. Doing the right thing for good people.
I love watching an artist at work
If it's Sunday it has to be Bello's time better than going to church . Watch and learn from one of the great ones Gracias Carnalito for the video
Always “better at Bellos Customs “, that thing was a mess thanks for saving somebody’s life !
Great job Mike
The Maestro on his Plasma Cam Plotter/Cutter...I love the accuracy. Skool these Chollos- Bello!
Ese lokochon, the world would be a better place if all our classic cars had mechanicos like yourself...Taking pride in what you do and concern for the customer...chaa ah haaa.
Tell her she needs to address that differential leak. Poor old truck probably has the original grease in it the way it looks. Another great episode homie!
Mike, show us your suspension magic on the 50 merc chilling on the other lift, how to lay frame the right way. You the man.
Perfection! Turn that hacked up mess, into a masterpiece!
That’s some home crafted jale
The truck has a better stance now, too. Great job
Mike always wants to do a good job. He wants his customers happy and he is keeping a professional reputation of the best.
YAY!!!!! The old welds look more like backyard boogers. Common sense aint too common. Gonna be another happy camper cruisin Mike Bellos style. Thank you Mike. Cheers
Joe did a great job cleaning it up as well.
Great job, like the thickness of material used to support the weight and air bags..
You're an inspiration carnal. I'm building myself a low low all lokochon.
SIEMPRE CON ESTOS CHINGON JALE! NICE JOB BELLO'S! ALWAYS TOP OF THE LINE. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE JALE ON THE LITTLE FORD! BUENO SUERTE! ALWAYS! AND KEEP DROPPING THE NEW VIDEOS. ADIOS....
Wish I had met ya when I was living down there. Would have worked for free. Love the art of your builds.
If you’re doing work like this put the tools down 😂😂😂 it took me five minutes to stop laughing. A great video and great tips Mike
Another outstanding job Mike!!!!!
Custom Boss!👍 Needed the Bello’s Kustoms monogram plate to make it official. Great work!
Attention to detail, I like it
A arms look factory now. A bodge job for sure. Put right by the master, and companion. Sweet truck nice and safe now. Gnrs hope to be there. We will see.
Backyard boogie, AKA, shade tree mechanic'n. Once again the Bello's touch outshines the rest.
Let’s face it Señor Bello ,you’re the best fabricator and that’s a fact .
Riding and steering a whole lot better - attention to detail really helps with longevity as well. Thanks Mike, nice job.
Great video Mike , I love the way you have pride in your work and look forward to the next one 💪🏽
I'll watch just to hear your old school lingo. Great vid as always 👍✌️
Professional as always.
now that's a proper work! congrats!
A master craftsman no question, putting your stamp on something is putting your reputation on it. Respect to you my man.
Nice work! Professional install!
"You do this kind of work, put the tools down." So 👍🏿 true. Sloppy work causes real-life and death safety hazards.
Another good job and some great work I wanna have you guys do some work on my 52
Love watching you change a butcher job into a work of art 😎 nice job Mike 👍
Great content as always☺️your videos remind me of working with my pops when i was little. He always emphasized he was not a carrocero, he was a Metalero. Youre a Metalero👍🏽
I really like how you design brackets for different situations. Great mind for sure. As others have said you always go a step beyond and improve.
By the way I love the music playing in the shop. I heard a little Hendrix today.
Looking at that C 10 suspension! it was built like a tank. I bet if you hit the curb at 40 miles an hour you would just break the curb. Mike did a great job of fixing and keeping the integrity of the beast! Great video.
10:31
Tu ponle homie! 🤘 puro lokochon!! Backyard boogie🤙
If they don't take time to do it right then it will take time to do it over. Respect for your work.

Absolutely love all your work, truly amazing
You’re thinking way ahead of the other guys that’s a hell of an idea being able to place that ball joint on that old Chevy truck and GMC. I love the way you engineer stuff so that it lasts a long time and it’s clean. Good job.
I look forward to your Sunday videos
Once again you took it to another level. Fortunately that level is Bello Kustom. Hopefully who ever did the original work doesn’t take it personal and learns from this video. Elevate your game from seeing and learning from those who are at their game. 👏
This'll be a good one! 👍I hope later she wants to convert to disc brakes, at least on the front. Great Job!
That bracket setup for the air bags on the A arms is "clean, clean, pinky ring!" That's how it's supposed to be done. Qvo!
Clean clean pinky ring!👍👍

Awesome video guys
No. Bueno you got that just right again
I have a 1961 Chevrolet Apache 20 with a hoist under the box. Used that truck all the time. Soon will have to junk it or see what I can get for it!
Outstanding.
BIG STEVE!!!! lol
great job locochones, nice & clean..... saludos!!
we don't all have air tools at our disposal or welding and cutting torches or computerized plasma cutters, so we do with the best we have at the time. Granted if I came into some money and could afford half that stuff/tools, I would then bring the truck back in and rebuild the parts You are doing now
Keep them coming Steve.....ai carabila..get to work...😂
Tolle Arbeit.!! *****
