I've watched a lot of car shows in my 42 years on this beautiful planet I came across Bello's And it would be a dream to work and learn from you I love the cars I love your energy Keep up the great work my friend
The best custom shop on RUclips, period. Stone cold beautiful work. As far as the taillights, a custom design with a matching custom light on the grill surround.
When you said "When you're poor you're poor." I could just hear my dad who passed 30 years ago saying, "A poor man has poor ways." Thanks for the memory.
It's all in the experience . Like on the fender , I wouldnt know where to start . Mike Bello does know . First he created the lower portion , with the correct shape . After the lower portion was done , there was just a hole to fill with the right piece of metal . I'd have been trying to shape the entire piece as one . Thats where years and years of his experience shows up . The best part is , he's giving free classes in every video . I appreciate the lessons .
Mike you are not only badass but you are highly entertaining. Cannot get enough of your channel. Please pass on my regards to Catapilla as well. Regards from Australia
And again Mike, Great job love the bumper bracket idea, fender repair superb as always, ( you know, for a guy that doesn't know what he's doing, LOL ). That 36 is sweet!!!
Wow! That rear fender is a real tribute to Shadetrees of America. "You crunch it, we munch it". Fixing it right is just another day in Mr. Mike's Neighborhood...according to my calculations. Salud!
So when is the 3 hour live shop session ??? I know Mike gets plenty of Questions that are on the fly !!! It’d be cool to have a live build session with the man !!! Locochon !!! And of course the tail lights should be homemade !!! But make some nice big ones inset into the fenders !!! Them itty bitty ones too small !!! Old people can’t see them !!! 😂💯
Hey , I was thinking....There are many leaf springs that are just thrown out. Maybe you can use a welding table and make a pattern with some bumper mounts , bend up the leaf springs drill them and now you have Original parts still good for a set year, model, make. AND now you have the custom bumper mount you just created. ( for future projects since you already altered this set. ) Just a thought , My light bulb flashed for a second while watching you in Action !
Have you ever worked with spring steel its very difficult to drill the donor parts need to be close as possible to what you need starting with a leaf spring is not impossible but very hard
@@jeremyhanna3852 you anneal it by heating it up, then after you shape it, you can heat treat it and quench the metal. Yes takes time but you can create something that you might not have available.
What a great fab work on the bumper bracket and fender repair Mike you’re the best, keep watching your videos, also 👍🏽👏🏽to the video man does a great job as well!

Mike's experience with these cars really shines on the fender deal when he showed us the pic from top down I was sure he would figure out the driver side was dented in and not the passenger side dented out shows how much I know about these cars its rare to find dent over stretched compared to smashed in
When you’re trying to make a radius you need to heat up the outside of the radius more than the inside because the outside needs to stretch and the inside doesn’t need as much heat try it out on a scrap piece of metal 🤙🏼ALOHA FROM HAWAII 💯😎
I was doing up a Bentley S1 in the 90's for a guy , I was using a Bentley and Rolls specialists premises , it was his mates car , there was virtually no inner wheel arches left , they had no wheeling machines or benders so I got him to buy lip section steel panels for the floor sections and when I did the wheel arches I cut 3 or 4 mild steel curved sections welded them together to make it boxy then shrank the weld down to get a rough wheel arch she , hard work and hot , I did not look the best but the owner was a tight git .
