Thank you for posting this....I have both the MK1 and MK2 Boss Katana Heads and couldn't figure out how the heck to get the MK2 driver installed. Your method was spot on. Kindest regards.

Hi Bred! I’ve just bought one, and I'm having the same problem at installing the driver, how did you fix it?
@@890mora so i plugged it in, and after a few minutes rechecked windows 10 OPTIONAL updates, there it had the same Roland- Media thing down lower in the options. Install that and restart and windows 10 then recognises the media device and it installs it as a device. Fair warning, itll swap your pc’s audio output TO that and set it at default, so if you’re like me and play games and have a headset, you’ll need to change that. Then it worked. Only other problem i had was in the media page, it kept disconnecting the gt1, but that was just a dodgy cable
I have a problem with my Gt-1. It is already showing or like installed in my computer but whenever i run the installer, it will just load but it wont show the application.

Roland concerning the audio path internal resolution and I/O between the sy and the gt 1000

This fixed mine also. But it did not download Roland Media automatically. I had to check optional driver updates and Roland Media 1.0.0.0 was there. Had to check that and do an update.
I had problems with GT-1 driver.
I installed many times according to user's manual, however never worked.
After many searches, I found (somewhere I didn't remenber) the solution.
If the driver installs into Windows 10 and shows "Driver error" message, then the "Core Isolation Memory Integrity" should be disabled.
After disabling "Core Isolation Memory Integrity", the Boss GT-1 worked well into my Windows 10 (21H2).

Sadly does not with me GT-PRO on WIn11. Searched the whole damned net but no solutions found. Any idea is appreciated
Old device that. Honestly... Prob an older operating system. They needed a USB driver download, assuming they like the gt100, and last os I used for that pedal was vista or xp

BOSS GT-PRO Rack .. Does anyone have the solution to install drivers on Win10??! Please HELP
Good luck man I remember the gt10 worked on win7. Don't think I got it working in 10. But never had the pro, but they basically the same brain. Let us know if you get it right.

hello, my windows update does not work, so I couldn´t use this fix but a guy suggested to download the drivers manualy on this link and it worked! ( www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=Roland%20-%20MEDIA%20-%201.0.1.0 ) ( thanks random guy ), but also my friend had this problem and I didn´t now wich drivers uses his pedal, so I used DRIVERMAX just to download them and it work! (them unisntalled DRIVERMAX). thanks for the help JaredGunstonTV and Jaap de Jonge ( Random guy).
