💯 One of my all time favorite songs, not just of KISS. It's a snappy, catchy, simple rock song. Their harmonies and the crisp playing is a shot of adrenaline.
After Rock and Roll Over came out i was done with KISS and my music changed but i must say that Dressed to Kill is my absolute favorite Kiss record ever. The songs and production are brilliant and it stands alone in my opinion.
Agreed, never listened to Love Gun all the way through. I was getting in Yes Tull Kansas and Rush plus 10 year old at a concert was my idea of a good time.
It sounded twice as good as Hotter than Hell. That album almost killed them the mix was so bad. I'm not sure what they were going for but it didn't work.
It was very good, but the original album was the best!!! It was just underrated and underappreciated!!! Love all the original lineup albums except for Dynasty, garbage and Peter and Ace agree 👍

Ive Just decided DTK in my top 5 kizz Albums listening Hard to listen to Rock Bottom though compared to Alive version😵💫Greats songs on this album easily could play this and Hotter than hell as a Concert at least acoustic 🤟😈

Gene and Paul contradict the making of rock and roll all night Paul said after his discussion with Neil, he went back to his room and went to work, came up with the chorus. He then said he went down to Genes room and showed it to him when Gene pulled out a verse he had been working on. Gene then says that Paul had been working on something for months then they put it together. Hmmmm, funny how the story changes

I think it's funny how people were saying, back in the day, that Kiss was an overnight sensation. But, nothing could be further from the truth. While, those first three albums were great albums, they didn't resonate withe people, albeit the hard-core Kiss fans. It was only after the success of the double live album that they started making dome headway. They wre anything but overnight sensations. Having said that, those early songs on those records became classics in hindsight.

After that the 3 first albums got more appreciation, because I mean let's be honest, Black Diamond, Strutter, Deuce, Cold Gin, 100 thousand years, and Firehouse were frickin amazing 👏!!! Kiss was amazing, but kinda did it the opposite way of most legendary bands!!! Most come out and people like their albums and then they go on the road for live shows, but Kiss was actually having a huge buzz about their live shows and nobody was buying their records for some reason!!! Loved dressed to kill, Ace's solo's were killer, short and sweet. Actually never really thought rock n roll all night was all that great, but people who don't really know Kiss think thats their only good song

I don't hate it. I did get really tired of hearing it. For an "anthem" song, I prefer Shout It Out Loud. I don't know if R&R All Nite would even make it into my top 10 KISS songs. For some reason, I always really liked the songs that Ace wrote, no matter who sang them. I didn't know that Ace wrote them until much later, that's just how it turned out. Never really liked Beth that much either. Hard Luck Woman is better, imo.

The album cover design is classic. I had an original copy w embossed Kiss logos.

She was a very different song originally so it is hard to compare.
