You know what? Who cares about anybody's opinion in the band about other members. Ace is still out there doing it, for better or worse, Peter is living his life on his own terms, the only ones who like dragging the past up to criticize are the oblivious ones who continued to tour with two replacements pretending it was still 1977 until last year. But hey!!!!!!!! The Aviators will be here in 2027 and I'm sure there will be enough idiots who will go to this. Let the corporate machine roll.

Wow Never heard these stories before. These stories are better than the books they came out with.

The title track to this album was terrible. I heard terrorist organizations play this song to torture government prisoners and get them to speak. There's a whole lot of he said she said crap regarding this era of KISS, but long story short Paul single-handedly kept the band alive in the 80's. Gene sure af wasn't helping and just phoning in his filler songs. The proof is in those albums. To put it all on Paul's shoulders was bullshit, which is why he did a brief solo club tour and kicked Gene in the ass to start contributing more after Hot in the Shade, starting with the Revenge album.

I actually back in the 70's ! Delivered lots of ferry dust to the studio! For ace during the solo Albums ! He used to say curly come in and hang out ! But i had a buisnes to run ! Although i do remember once going in << Rip it out was playing < I said wow i like that ace ! What ripping out the $ For betty white!😅😅😅😅

The transition from Cat to FOX was great and in my opinion was respectful and motivating.

Solos; 1- Ace, 2- Paul, 3- Gene, 4- Peter. If you are into the R&B thing, then maybe I can see the appeal of Peter's album. For me at the time, I wanted hard rock and only hard rock, so I completely dismissed Gene and Peter's albums. Still feel that way today. I remember hearing Rip it Out for the first time and saying YESSSSSSSS !!! Way to go, Ace.

Ace was the most creative and talented member but his weak work ethic and substance abuse squashed all of that.

1978 KISS as a band are only four years old and yet already have made the albums 1.KISS 2.Hotter Than Hell 3.Dressed To Kill 4.Alive 5.Destroyer 6.Rock & Roll Over 7. Love Gun 8. KISS Alive II as well as the four Solo KISS albums which i personally prefer in the order listed below though i love all four more and more with each passing year 1.Ace 2. Gene 3.Paul 4.Peter - thats 12 KISS albums in four years kids, and i had just barely turned 12 by years end and was lucky enough to have seen them on the Love Gun tour at the San Diego Sports Arena on August 19th 1977 age ten with a new band called Cheap Trick opening...man i wish i had a time machine

I really wish they would admit they made a fucking masterpiece, but I totally get where they're coming from.

Without Paul, KISS does not exist and would have ended in the '80s. Gene was very important, but Paul kept the faith. Ace was the best musician in the band. Peter would have been unknown if not for KISS.

They had plenty of material for a full Alive 2 set without repeating songs. If they could put tomorrow and tonight and hard luck woman, there's no reason they could not have put hooligan or take me.

If anyone has noticed, the guitar riff for the song The Oath was the same guitar song for the Lick It Up album song Exciter.

I loved Peter as a kid ……played drums because of him. Such a shame he let his demons take over. He had the talent to do so by much more. Like it or not…….Paul is 100% right

Although true, all those compliments towards Vinnie went to his head. As talented as Vinnie mite be he has failed to release any music in the last 35years. Unfortunately Vinnie isn't a team player and does not play well with others and on his own its doubtful he will ever release anything in the future.

What is Paul's deal with wanting relationships with women in relationships with other guys. You like the taste of another guys dick in your girlfriend's mouth when she comes over and kisses you Paul? And they always go back to the other guys instead of you tells you how unreliable in a relationship they think you are

They should have made a deal for Eddie to tour as their guitarist for that tour without any kiss make up. Just a one tour thing. It would have been fun and great. Fun wasn't a gene and Paul thing. To see Eddie having fun playing kiss songs would have been. They could have dropped the corny Paul yelling stupid tired cliches between songs. Just be kiss with special guest Eddie Van Halen. Who wouldn't have wanted to see that tour?

Man - that was a GREAT record! The photos! The album cover, the songs! The look of disgust on the face of the 50 year old lady at the cash register when I bought it. It was everything a teenager in high school could want!
