I hate the 90/91era. Of course because lost Eric and because of how he was treated in the band , and the fact they ( gene and paul) act like they loose a distant neighboor... On the other side , Revenge was great ( he will has been as great with Carr....) , and the line up , to be fair, was great . Unplugged was their last great record. After that kiss became definitly a touring circus band...

Its funny how gene talk shit about ace or peter , and then vinnie. Gene never fault??? How can You blame peter or ace being away from the studio works in the late 70's , and being now proved that he was himself almost never here from 83 to 90... And vinnie riff and songs were a great part of the band's rescue between 82 and 83. Taking out the mask for lick it up was a mistake. It would have sold 2× more of copies. The idea was great for animalize , not before. And kiss is certainly the band with the most numerous songs who " could have been uge radio hit but never was" ( a million to one , thrill in the night , sure know something , a world without heroes , what makes the world go round , reason to live , turn on the night... and so on.

Ive Just decided DTK in my top 5 kizz Albums listening Hard to listen to Rock Bottom though compared to Alive version😵‍💫Greats songs on this album easily could play this and Hotter than hell as a Concert at least acoustic 🤟😈

Eric was a genius hire.. Paul and gene liked he'd work for a check and be happy. The fans got someone who WAS THEM a year earlier.. so he was beyond cool when Paul and gene didn't give af and went back stage to women. Eric would go hang with the fans.. Paul calls him a "Schmuck" for that.. which seriously makes no sense.

The in between album. Recorded as a masked band , released (and touring) as an unmasked band. Lick it up makes good sales , but i still believe he would have works even better with the band still masked...

I've always liked Dynasty as it's the first KISS album I owned. The first five songs are great , then the album tapers off a little.

Ace's is the best of the four

They recorded The Elder in late 79 early 80'... there's such a small chance that Eric Carr had ANYTHING Metalica at that point. If anything they maybe had demos and wouldn't have even been a fully formed band yet. Nope. Pauls thinking every speed metal band is Metalica or something lol.
