I have a 2014 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic (Super Track Pack) & ordered this tint kit for my car. I received the kit earlier this week & installed it this evening. Installation went well (pretty quick & easy even though it was my 1st time doing something like this); your instructional video was excellent. I am pleased w/ the final result, although in retrospect I probably should have gone w/ a darker or opaque tint. Thanks!
Glad to help, and I do agree with you on the black vinyl vs the tint. For these tail lights tint is an improvement but they are really calling for some black vinyl.
When I get this kit, I’m going to black out the dodge sign with some plasti dip so it all can look blacked out and clean rather than some chrome sign in the middle
The link in the description will take you to the page. Order the Blackout option in Gloss. That will block light from passing through that area and be glossy like the tail lights.
Did you do something special to be able to see the "lines" of the recessed areas so easily? Is it just proper lighting? Looking at it from a certain angle? When I glimpse at my taillights the recessed area is not that pronounced... I hope the previous owner didn't install some aftermarket taillight piece like they did with the headlights.
Yup The event is open to all Chrysler/Dodge LX/LC/LD platform vehicle owners. This includes 300's, Challengers, Chargers and Magnums. Looking forward to flying cross country and and hanging out with the online fam.
I have bought this kit twice now and managed to mess up both times. Does anyone know if tint shops will install these for you if you buy it and take it to them?
I just install mine on my 09 Challenger, anyone can do this without experience, this was my first time doing this. What I did, to install it very easy, it was, clean the lights with soap and water, applied the so called secret solution that comes with the kit, dry out with the microfiber rag and then apply or spray soap and water again, do not dry it out just peel off the vinyl and then apply it to the wet surface and align it, you just can move it using your fingers until you get the perfect align, use the squeegee that came with the kit and start getting the soap and water out, do not apply it hard it may scratch the film, do not tucking the overlays yet, just after you get bubbles out, do the same process of all lights(3)very easy process specially for the center light.
DO NOT APPLY THIS VINYL WET!!! This vinyl has air release and is not intended for install wet. You can reposition this vinyl by lifting it off the surface and replacing it. When you tac this in place it's easily removable. The adhesive sets with heat, pressure and time.
use a blow dryer to heat up the lettering and carefully pry it off. Luxe sells a kit that will give you everything you need (except the blowdryer) to remove the badge and clean up the mess lift behind. bit.ly/2EBPzMe Note on the 2014 and older Challengers the DODGE lettering is in a recess

No tint kit for the 2014 and under, but if you are interested you can grab the light wrap 10" x 60" and tint it on your own bit.ly/2wJgSQ2. You will also need a heat gun ( amzn.to/2DU7fpg ) and a good 30 degree blade ( amzn.to/2Gsq6pJ ) to make it look crisp

I agree that would look a lot better ;)
Comes in Fri, can't wait!
If you post photo on Instagram tag me I'd love to see it. Which one did you get the dark smoke tint or the non transparent vinyl?
I got satin black non transparent to go with my stripe decals, I'll definitely tag you once it's done
Nice I've been dying to see this combo.
Work Play Drive just got around to install the decal, tagged you on ig same username
Looks awesome man, I think that should be their go to kit. I need to find a local challenger to put one on so I can see it in person.

Here you go bit.ly/2y9Dsmi
Which type of tint do you recommend? I was looking for something to completely black out the inner tail lights similar how the plastic looks

Proper lighting helps but the lines are easy to see just with daylight. Once you start lining up the tint it becomes very easy to follow.
I have a quick question. Ones went it's install went having a car was it won't peel off because of the water n soap ?
Nope, this will stay on for years, and withstand the weather washing, and I use a pressure washer on my cars.
@@WorkPlayDrive oh okay thanks !
Nice kit ! The car looks great ! Is that event just a Mopar event?
Yup The event is open to all Chrysler/Dodge LX/LC/LD platform vehicle owners. This includes 300's, Challengers, Chargers and Magnums.

Work Play Drive oh well I am a Camaro owner
It's ok I still like you :)
I have bought this kit twice now and managed to mess up both times. Does anyone know if tint shops will install these for you if you buy it and take it to them?
They have an installer finder on their site. www.luxeautoconcepts.net/apps/store-locator/
Looks good
Thank you
Hey man how do I know what picture goes with what option on the listing on the website?
What are you looking for it may be easier to send you a pic of it. My recommendation is the gloss or satin black non transparent

Thanks for the video. Where did you get those headlamps? They look like the ones on the 2015 model.
The end clip with the black Challenger is my car a 2015, just to show how easy they are to take off.
Hemi Fam is going to smuggle you in just like you had to smuggle your wife's "heat gun" huh? LOL
shh!! she's not supposed to know
