As a car guy and an engineer, I must say man, YOU DID THAT! I love seeing creativity like this! Good job! Well worth the time and effort. Thanks for the video!
Holy crap you did it again! These are gorgeous! I already bought the first type you made, which i love! But i will gladly purchase these if you decide to make them again. Please let me know if you decide to start making this type.
If I could give you more than one thumbs up I would. Could you upload a tutorial on this? Very creative. Looks like the tail lights of the 08 challenger concept car. Infinite thumbs up. Congratulations on your build.
Definitely, I'm going to be selling a limited amount for the first few people that are interested. I'm also going to be doing a giveaway for the ones in the video if I can get to 1k subs but I haven't officially announced that yet.
Had to watch it agin great video thats skills i still would love to have a set if you sale them or charge todo it i still have my challenger but salute good video man looks like it was a good amount of work too.
Could you give some more info on how to wire all the components? Would love to build something similar for my 2008 srt8. I would like to keep te reflective outer line functional though, since its mandatory here. I see you painted that part black, was that a purely esthetic choice or do you think the reflective edge wont work after sandblasting en sanding? Greetings from the Netherlands.
So for the wiring I found it easier to just buy a sequential light kit which is pretty much what I built with the timer relays and diodes in the video. The reflective part can stay and work fine I just painted it for a sleeker looking final product. Although thinking back now I could have just left that part red and just tinted it black and got the same result.
At 0:31 while u r putting the beads, i tried but it doesn’t fit unless i trim from inside the lights housing (the bridge in the middle and in the corner)
@@willa5060 i cut the bead down so the top half of the housing fits if that's what you're asking. But i don't build them like that anymore, i put the bead in upsidedown and screw it to the housing. This assures me that it will never come loose, the epoxy will eventually fail. Whether that's a year or 5, who knows but it will eventually.
Did you have to make each bend by cutting the led strip at each angle, or was it a single strip & you somehow bent it or folded the strip over to make a bend/angle? Want to make a solid piece like Oracle makes for this car, but its for a totally different car.....
Can you get me a cleaner picture of the wiring diagram? And maybe the led strips you used? Gonna attempt this after watching this video I saw the earlier comment on what resistor timers you used the part in the video is just kinda blurry on the diagram, thanks
How did you trick the cars computer into having LEDs without having it think there was a missing hollagene bulb. On mine I had left the oem ones plugged in and hid them in the trunk. I made a similar replica to these but water got in through the back center light and shorted out an LED strip.
Hey brother so I started this project, trying to figure out how you got the middle tail light lens off? Did you Dremel the trunk bezel off from the back and then glue it back?
@@WINOBOT Good morning. I will be doing a 2014 Challenger build/giveaway next year on RUclips and I would love to have you do these custom taillights. Would you be willing to do it, let me know.
Hey I know it's a lot of work but I would love it if you could make and sell a few of these. I bought the black strip from Luxe that runs along the lights so I can at least try and not hate them but man I would buy a set of these in a heartbeat!! Please let me know if you decide to build another to sell. 👍
Could you tell me what spray cans were used to make the tail light lens to go from clear to an acrylic matte finish? & which ones to use from first to last? I would like to do the same for my lenses on a different car & have that "led lens" look.
Bro really dropped the hardest taillight setup and dipped

Hey man just checking back in about getting some tail lights made?
This reminds me a lot of the taillights on the saleen challengers
Damn homie that was some of the dopest shit I've seen. You should make custom ones at request and make money
Thanks, thats the plan!
Wow, good job! Looks OEM.

Wow awesome I wish you could just make a kit with the relays and the lights so we could install them they ate like the concept car
They look amazing how can i order a set ??
I no longer make these, sorry

This is super awesome!
It’s amazing bro good job.
they look amazing! Do you have to take it apart if one of them goes out? Like reconstruct it again? That would be a pain.
I would have to, luckily none have went out yet.
@WINOBOT how much would it cost to do this to my taillights? I'm located in Florida. lmk
Hi winobot these tail lights look amazing can you custom make mines for a Evo 8? Let me know 🐎
I got you fam
U killing so clean
Beautiful
Looks good!...... but what did you do about the reverse light(s)?
They're there, just tinted. You can see in the part where I'm painting that I left them clear.
@@WINOBOT sir really interested ,how much total price if you make for me
You got my subscribe by this video. Good work !!
Thnx for the great video, quick question plz, did u remove from inside the light to fit the corner bead?
Where exactly are you asking about?

I had to cut for every angle
Ok, nevermind. These are the ones I want 😭

Hello , are you selling those. Interested .
Stopped selling them a while ago. Was thinking of making a few more though. I'll let you know if I do.
Can I place an order ?
Sure, you local? Fl.
Hey Winobot, what did you used to mount the leds inside the light? I mean the metal things that you’re cutting at 00:29.
Drywall corner bead
materials list is in the description of exactly everything i used if you want to try to make your own.
@@WINOBOT thanks fam. It’s been tough but hopefully mine turn out as good as yours :)
@@zacsalerno3297 I kept getting requests for materials list so I went ahead and compiled it. How far along are you?
@@WINOBOT just opening them today. Got em off a junker and had to clean them.
this shi fire 🔥🔥🔥
Brahhh i gotta get these on my 14! Clean look. Ever thinking about selling a couple of sets?"
Eventually
Could you send me a list of things I need to buy to complete this job
So you said later on the road I’ve been waiting to see if you would sell them now or is there a link to anything sim
Super slick looking man. Are you selling these or even interested in selling a set?
Let’s see the reverse lights
Forgot to record those but you can spot them when I'm painting. I left a clear spot in the center that I just tinted to keep a sleek look.
It turned out amazing 👌🔥🔥 Will you be selling sets of these? Highly interested if you are
Maybe down the road for the right price
I'd be a buyer for what it's worth
I will buy just say the price!
Give me a call/message if you do build one for sell!! It would look great on the back of my truck bed im building. 9039463335
WINOBOT i want one please lol imma need some asap
I'm very interested in potentially purchasing either version of these taillights. If your still selling some let me know
How fix newer challenger taillights
Nice !
NAH for real you the truth for that I need that for my car
I want a set. How much, best taillights I’ve seen

Resistors
Would you please share what size and how many resistors you used on this project?
this is maness !
Nice! But no reverse lights?
They're still in the center, just tinted to blend in.
Hey brother so I started this project, trying to figure out how you got the middle tail light lens off? Did you Dremel the trunk bezel off from the back and then glue it back?
Dremel it in half then epoxy back together

That was not spray paint, I sandblasted the plastic.
@@WINOBOT ok thank you
could you upload a list of parts you used Im trying to figure out which leds you used im about to tackle this project myself.
The important stuff is in the description. I used 3014 led strips.
please contact me at eventz9999@gmail.com I would like to do it for me, i will insted of buying the new sequential tail light
Man thats dope
Are you making and selling these? How much any price.
Im not, maybe if you're local?
Do you still make these
Does it have reverse lights?
Yes, they're tinted over
@@WINOBOT Would the tailights be considered street legal?
How much for you too make a set for 2012 challenger rt
I need this on my car. How much to order this light please?
What sandblasted did you use
And what pressure
It was a cheap harbor freight portable one. Grey plastic.
Fr fr they look like the concept tail lights
This is how new challenger taillight should look like . 2015+ taillight looks cheap. Charger taillight is nicer
Looks good
