    i had to rethink my work flow a few weeks ago, you mentioned found money in a previous video.....I FOUND SOME...LOL...finally had a chance to rid myself of the fire wire setup I've been having for decades, it proved to be costly and i'm lovin it..lo, gonna try some of your recommendations.

    I love what the WA87 gives my production team for vocal options. Current working go to is the Lawson 251 and Vintech X73i

    I felt that the WA73-EQ just took a little getting used to and exploring, I've found killer sounds for both bass and guitar DI. I'm often using the Avantone CV-12 as it's well suited to the voice I'm mostly recording, I've had no noise-floor issues. I've considered other mics, and have a pair of TFK Copperheads, which kill as drum stereo mics - maybe one day I would like to try the WA-251 on vocals - thanks Warren for a great presentation as always

    Would the wa73 be a good combo with the tlm103?

    • @WarrenHenry
      @WarrenHenry  3 года назад +1

      I think it might be. The design of the 103 should pair quite well. Thanks for watching 🙏🏾✌🏾

    Idk i feel the heritage 1073 eq is way better in sound maybe not the greatest knobs but the sound is awesome ..

    • @WarrenHenry
      @WarrenHenry  4 года назад

      That might be true as they use the proper inductors for the eq section. Thanks for watching

      Ha! Said the same thing in another video. At some point you have to look at these as just tools.

      @@WarrenHenry interesting. I'm using u87ai and thinking of 1073lb giving the future scalability option as I would then have the option to add the eq section after another good session run. I was thinking about the wa,heritage,bae and its a mine field. I used uad emulation until I saved for the hardware. Ahhhhhh

    • @WarrenHenry
      @WarrenHenry  4 года назад +1

      That’s the way to think, scalability. If that’s your approach then definitely get the 1073lb. There are so many choices available and they’re all good. But you always have to keep in mind what’s best for your circumstance. Thanks for watching

    The word cheap is incorrectly used these days. Cheap is a product that is made poorly at a low price. Inexpensive is a product that is made well at a low price.
