Mr. Carrell is an excellent recording engineer, mixer, and producer. I don't know him but I have heard several of his productions on his RUclips Channel - and I am very impressed with his work. I've been doing this about 70 to 100 hours a week (Music, Radio & TV Ads, Criminal Forensics, large PA Mixing) for almost 47 years - and have helped many young people start their careers - one of them has 10 Grammies - from Beck, The Foo Fighters, Radio Head, and several others. I know a great sound when I hear it. Thank you, Joe!
joe carrell is the Goat he works magic
i am an experienced recording enthusiast and have seen literally thousands of youtube videos detailing recording sessions and none of them, i mean none of them, hit the details, make use of affordable equipment and come across the way these joe carell "in the mix" videos do. I can't beg warm audio enough to keep them coming!
Roy Cox thank you very much Roy!
Joe Carrell is one of my favorite engineers and producers out there. As much down-to-the-earth as he is talented.
I love Warm Audio gear, and that was before I saw all their videos, which are consistently stellar. Joe's are my favorite.
Loved these videos
WOW great mix and song WA73 been looking into this mic-pre I'm sold, a great bang for the buck too... Thank you.. God bless you..
Thank you so much for all this educational videos! Keep it up! 🙏🏻✌🏻✍️
So grateful for that series. Too bad we're brand limited, tho obviously understandable , I wish Joe would also give feed back on that sweet AA MT8016.
Ojalá pudiera creerme que este gran sonido es todo y solamente de Warm audio ojalá en serio, me cuesta creerlo ja ja un saludo
This video is awesome, thank you! I’m doing a minimal drum mic setup, and am very interested in adding some external preamps. Would you recommend the TB12 for OH, snare, or kick, or would the 73 be a better choice for those applications? I realize they sound quite different, but just curious if one or the other is inherently more advantages for those specific applications? Any info is greatly appreciated!
I own a pair of Warm’s WA-76 compressor/limiters, and they sound just like the original 1176’s for HALF the price!
Appreciate the feedback, Ed! Can't go wrong with the 76. Glad to hear it's performing well for you.
No no really... that warm audio rack has always been here in this studio!
cityz3n Every since I moved in it has been. 😉 sits there everyday. must be pretty good too as every guest engineer that works here falls in love with it. It’s all over the latest Jason Aldean record for example. Take care.
