Every time the drums solo and begin I keep hearing Fleetwood mac "Dreams"...a vintage type vibe I get from the tone of the drums. I think it's the initial fill and then the groove, but it has that vibe for me

this was hands down the finest tracking drums show and tell I have ever seen on youtube....period. its simple, shows absolutely everything, the right amount of talking vs tones. simply brilliant demo joe!

Fantastic! The raw drum sound was awesome... great mix platform. Thank you again for doing this, esp giving us the raw sounds, it reminds us that 1/2 the battle is getting it right upfront.

Love those vids! One thing... can you guys put in the description all the gear and mics used for all these sessions (with the links of course!)? Will be awesome to have it structured what is used on the recording for the kick, snare etc.+ same on the mix. Thanx!

Pezzo Lane tha is for watching Pezzo. Appreciate the input. If you haven’t yet, check out episode 5. It shows the mics and positioning for each in good detail. The only difference for this song was different mics on toms and overheads. Same positioning though. 👍👍

Sweet, do you have anything advising us on how to mix a Rollin T20
    kit?

hey joe, do you usually prefer a dbx 160 on snare top? im looking for a great snare drum compressor and needed a great recommendation. I see you also have a distressor. any help?

I love the 160. Especially the old VU version but even the x or XT work for me. If those aren’t available I’ll go distressor anytime! Thanks for watching.
