    Great video man! Just bought my first piece of analog gear (The tegeler EQP1) and I'm so damn excited. I feel like I just can't get that sound from plugins

      That is a great piece of gear! The vibes, color, sound I've been able to get from my rack has been amazing. I'm a huge fan of in the box work, but there are aspects of analog I don't think I'll ever be able to not utilize. Congrats on the new gear!!!

    i had same problem. mixing in the box takes forever and most of my songs sound thin, harsh very digital. now ive been practicing with analog its a different sound and fast work flow. i use warm eqs and bus compressor on drum bus they sound amazing. i stopped buying plugs i only have few but best plugins for different purposes. the only problem with gear is its kind of an addiction once u hear what it does then you cant stop buying mew units lol

      100% on the nose! After I got the first batch of my analog gear, I got rid of my Slate subscription and bought a handful of Waves plugins outright. The only go-to in the box plugins I use when mixing are are the Waves API 2500, CLA Comp, Kramer Tape Master, & Ozone 9 Advanced. I have a couple different reverbs and delays I use depending on the application, but my insert game is a fraction of what it use to be thanks to the off board gear. And I'm looking at new analog gear nearly daily... it's absolutely addicting!

    awesome man! lol i dumped slate too, the times i needed to use they would crap out on my , licenses not found smh! so i went warm audio route, best move i made after spending lots of money on plugins! i'm liking acustika plugs in conjunction with analog but they suck out the life of cpu... cheers

      Yeah, I love to keep my eye of for sales and hop on a few new plugins each time! Flat out owning in the box and offboard gear has been a dream. And not having that monthly cost with a subscription plan is a nice bonus!

    Hello question how can I record keyboard with one WA 73 my keyboard has left and right output or do I need to preamps

    • @ZachWirchak
      @ZachWirchak  Год назад +1

      Thr WA73 comes in a single or duel channel. If you wanted a stereo track, you want to get your hands on a duel channel or two single channels. But depending on your keyboard, you might possibly be able to use the mono out into a WA73.
