- A very quick video on how to load your own samples on Denon DJ players with Engine DJ 3.0 and greater. I found the process very fiddly and took me several attempts to get it right. This needs to be improved as first time users might struggle ! @DenonDJTV
Thank you Mike, your explanation of how to load a sample certainly helped me a lot. I also discovered that by pressing Shift + Sample you can immediately stop the running sample and not have to wait for the sample to be played to the end.👍
To load a sample to the pad for all-in-one devices, open the library view and swipe the desired sample to the right. You will then have 8 pads shown on screen, tapping the desired on-screen pad or physical pad on a deck in while Sampler mode will load the sample to the pad.
On the Media Players, the workflow is slightly different. From the library, perform a partial swipe (until you see the Green LOAD button), then tap the word “Load”, you will then have 8 pads shown on screen. Tapping the on-screen pad or physical pad will load the sample. The workflow is different to avoid interrupting the established Media Player track load workflow.
Thanks man, it's very useful for me
Thank you very much!
Mike
On my Denon SC5000
When I load the samples, everything shows on the screen, they are loaded But the same sample from the first one is on all of them when you play them I have no idea why anything you recommend is greatly appreciated. I’m desperate to get this working properly. Thank you.
🔥If you load in your own samples does it override the default sample forever so you can’t recall it back afterwards?🙏🏻
Thanks so much! I got this to finally work on my Prime Go.
The only problem now is how do I get it to start at the cue point instead of the start of the track?
I have the first cue point cued up but it plays from the beginning of the track
Ik denk dat je dan je sample op de PC/Mac met een audio bewerkingsprogramma zo moet aanpassen, dat deze begint op de plek waar deze track moet beginnen.
If I put a sample in a slot where the siren is, how do I get that siren back?
Looks like this changed in 4.0
thanks, couldnt work this out, very un-user friendly!
I have no sound coming out from sampler. Any help thx
What device do you have
@Mike Corlett prime 4 I try loading it its showing all samples there just no sound coming out
@@shaffgulamadeen9656 think it's channel 4 on the mixer for the sample volume .....
It is on channel 4
The pads need to be in sampler mde, press shift + roll, also the sampler volume is on the screen when you drag down from the top
