Very much appreciated. I'm still confused on how to split the pads between decks. When I assign as sample to a pad, it automatically goes to both decks...? Also, is there a way to preview a sample before I assign it to a pad?

Thanks dude! I now have my effects pads working after struggling for months to sort this out. I have the Mixstram Pro Plus and I had to find the enable samples function deep in the settings to add this to the available sources... I'm so relieved. I have a big gig tomorrow so I'm playing with these now. Its a shame the library is so limited though... I can't do much with the drum kicks imho but the sirens and other sounds are ok..
