I used that at a place called Spectrum Sports, which is in Thurmaston in the UK, and it is really cool what you can do with it! I have limited experience with it, so don’t expect me to be a pro. I found out how to loop part of a song though, and I used the Sweep FX too!
its a big boy….beast…i cant see myself carrying this unit for holiday travels..😝😝😛 unlike the Prime GO…but im loving this whole setup n layout… wish u could test the speakers loudness.. good mix as always, Carlo..🙌🏻
Yeah, it's not the best for portability, but hey, it's great for gigs for sure! Also, I wasn't able to speaker test like the Mixstream (I was preparing for a trip), but rest assured that in making the mix, I didn't need to use external speakers anymore. Testament to their quality
ive learned the most about djing from your channel and I really love every video you put out. I also just recently got this board and I love it so much, thought I would hate the speakers but honestly theycan be useful if I'm just practicing at home. Wish you would move the crate connect advert to the end of the video though because it gets in the way of you telling us what tricks you are doing to mix tracks

Like always, you're the boss ! I want to run the road to Serato after starting on RB with a DDJ-400... With the DDJ1000SRT shortage and maybe with a new MK2 this year or in 2024... I'm thinking of buying this cute baby to learn 4 deck and Serato. My fears are clicky pad and resale value after 1 or 2 years. So : Take a FLX6 and wait Endlessly searching for an used 1000SRT Go on SC Live 4 Change plans and choose the Traktor S4MK3 (Traktor for Latino and open-format?) Hard to make an opinion without testing, but difficult to test when you do not yet have enough experience on more serious equipment.
I'd say go for the SC Live 4 for the house. It'll actually negate the need to buy speakers, and you can play around with the decks all you want (and need!) :)
Carlo do you think you could do an extended mix on the sc live 4? There aren’t many long mixes on this controller because of how new it is, and you are my favorite dj on RUclips ! That would really be a dream come true if you could! Thanks

There's far too much gatekeeping in DJing these days, e.g. "Only real DJs use vinyl" or people telling you thee right way to do it etc. I think whatever genres or styles of performance we enjoy, we should never be so arrogant to assume that those methods are superior or negate the use of others. I use Traktor mainly with my S4, but I would love a go on one of these badboys.

I know that the equipment is not the most important thing, that creativity is the most important. Mobility is not important to me. The club standard (Pioneer domination) is not important to me. The possibilities of the set are important to me, they will not limit me. Or otherwise, value for money :)

Hey, thanks Rey! Really appreciate the kind words! And tbh, it's hard to compare the two since the 1000 needs a laptop. This one works with a laptop and alone though, so this maybe the better choice to an extent, but the 1000 is by far the most club-oriented with the layout and features

Might've just been my Serato volume Mitch! I don't usually touch the program's master output volume, but I did play around with the trims when doing the mix on the controller
I love my Prime 4 to much to give it up and I can do everything the SC 4 live does and more, but what I want to know. Are we going to get a firmware update to the JOG LCDs so they give up information like the SC 4 Live?

Hmm, I haven't really had much experience with either, so I can't say. I'd honestly recommend the SC Live 2 from these, but if you really wanna go all out, check out the Mixstream Pro Go!
@@djcarlo I had mixstream pro go and loved it untill it developped a flaw (temperamental play/cue button and bleeding crossfader) so sent it back and now I am eying this one....the power it takes is 12v so a small lithiun leisure battery with a 12v rectifyier could be the answer to make it portable like my pro go was...at least that's my plan ;). Great mix btw!
They've just moved the prime4 FX and replaced them with useless speakers. They can't be used as a monitor in a club/pub. Why????? Does the mic have a cue now? The P4 didn't originally and had to be updated. I sold mine and went for a ddj1000. Pricey as well.
Hahahaha, I'm so glad they played in succession! But I get you there. I really feel like this wasn't meant to replace the Prime 4, but cater to the home market. The Prime 4 is really meant for use in clubs and bars, and the SC Live 4 is meant for the streamer/bedroom market more than anything. Thanks for the compliments on the mix though Dave!

I have a denon controller and for me the price is convenient against pioneer equipment but ... the knob of the filter and eq are not the same :)

Not really Ben! Sync is on as usual, but I just used my ears to see if they truly were in sync

It's connected to Serato Thewseph! Just to showcase that it can work with Serato DJ natively
Ah...so the sweep FX work with Serato on this unit unlike the Prime 4
