I have a question and it's pretty basic since I haven't DJ in a while. How and when do you use the eq when mixing? I know they are for "equalizing" the songs together, but I don't wanna use it just to look cool or if it's unnecessary.

Yo Carlo, I think this mix would have been better without using sync. It's just not 100% reliable and I think that might have been the reason why some of the transitions were not perfectly beat matched. I highly doubt this was due to your lack of skill, since you're an award winning professional. What's your opinion on that? Keep up the good work tho 🙌🏼🖤
@@thewseph_g Haha so true ! To kindly respond to your comment, it's not about the Sync. The thing is that the Grid of the tracks are not perfectly aligned togethers when synced (you can previously adjust the grid of your tracks on Rekordbox, Serato...) so he have to adjust with jogwheel when he throw a new track to beatmatch. You normally do that on your headphones, but in the case of technical, fast demo Mix he don't care to do it through the master/speakers. Peace 🤘

@@djcarlo appreciate DJ Carlo but these controllers are very rare to find nowadays even the first DJ controller I told you the the the Hercules DJ's steel controller used to have and it has the same settings and everything only my biggest problem is only has A and B cue button but I do believe it it was a really good competitive controller against the Hercules DJ Steel but I'm thinking of getting in the Hercules DJ rmx I'm not trying to waste your time but I see that old DJ controllers should be a first start of DJing is because don't have all that features you just need a little bit of features on the DJ controller and then once you work your way up with your first DJ controller then buy the expensive one and I did take your advice about the beat matching and I think I have told you this before I mixed Lady Gaga with MGK a few weeks ago in November I do believe and I recorded on a tape player and it sounds perfect
Quick question can you use any turntables controller into the analog inputs instead of using the little circle scratching pads that makes the sound scratch my dad told me that you can't just use any turntable because you might ruin up the motor and the gearing but can u use any turntable

There's a load button for the songs! Allows you to instantly load songs
I know about the load button but it looks like when you load the song it plays instantly - I don’t see your hand hit play or any hot cue.

Good observation! It's not perfect, but I try to focus more on the ways to accent mixes for these videos. But very good ear there!

Good question! No, you can only use the ones meant for DJing. You'll definitely destroy the motor drive if you use the ones only meant for playback
