    Just fyi: I kept getting a "MCX8000 Compatibility Warning" error every time I launched Engine Prime (1.6.0 on Big Sur 11.6) with a fully formatted USB pen drive in EX FAT. Read up somewhere that this format is the problem, and in order to stop getting this issue, to re-format it to MS-DOS (FAT 32). This worked for me.

    Engine DJ needs vocal detection shown above a track on all players & desktop. To avoid vocal clashing in a live mix. This should be in your next 3.4 update. Thanks.

    LC6000 needs to be able to control dual deck mode when auditioning desktop tracks Mac / Pc. I want to buy the player but update the Engine Dj to include this feature. Thank You.

    Do we really need to do this to even plag music via usb

      No, the purpose of these steps is for track analyzation, cue points, and other custom metadata for your digital crate (as well as specific settings you prefer on the mixer). So when you plug your stick into your mixer it has everything ready. If you just play with tracks on a USB stick the main thing is the track will have to analyze for 10ish seconds before you can auto-sync.

    Hello and thank you for this guide,but I could use a little help here....
    every time I connect my 4tb crucial x6,a proccess named "aggregating drives" starts and it takes long time to finish.....Is this normal?Is there something I can do on my end ?

    Hi there, nice video. I have a question, How do I transfer my entire music files to a new external hard drive from an old external hard drive that I been using with engine dj software? Will I still have to reinstall all of my music files in the engine dj software collection panel? I also have a different drive that I use with denon prime go.

      How did you do it?
      I think I would copy my whole SD card to someone else's non-dj computer, then copy it again from it to a new SD card.
