You really need to check out the ps2 berserk game. The gaming animations are superburb in those old days. Personally I think the ps2 one is more realistic and better because it really makes you feel the heft of the dragon slayer. The musou series is more flamboyant, but details are on point.
I hope the Berserk ending is just like this. It'd be even more awesome if Guts took away Griffith's powers and just let him live his life as a cripple, having to accept the consequences of his mistakes (which, to him, would be worse than death).
Zodd is only loyal as long as he has something stronger than him to fight, and if Guts mauls Griffith then Zodd will just walk away or fight Guts until either of them die.
Casca should also be involved some way. After being reduced to her state for so long because of Griffith, she should at least get to put a knife into him. Or cut Slaan's head off.

Man "Sign" truly is the most hype Berserk soundtrack. Also I'm surprised Susumu Hirasawa didn't compose a song for this game although he did for other games in the past.
If this game was something like Dark Souls i'd like it a lot. It's so fucking fast paced. You feel over powered af slashing everything to the dust. It feels like a mash fest. Additionally, Berserk needs to be more gory and brutal. Decapitating, chopping limbs and stuff. Regardless i'll give it a 7/10 because i love the manga.
The ps2 version plays beautifully yet it's repetitive as hell the arc is awfully chopped, censored, also they introduced an original mini-arc that is quite bad, but boss fights are damn epic and the best of the game (kind of feels like Dark souls bosses cause you can parry atacks) as well as the end and the change of gameplay while using the berserk armor, I got bored of the musou I couldn't even finish it, maybe sometime later.
It's a hack and slash slugfest for casual gamers without deep skills or development that steps on nostalgia and love for one of the best Manga ever to succeed in sales
A mix of both of the with some some tweaks would make a great game honestly. The ps2 version sucked cause the combat was trash and most cutscene attacks against the bosses while the new version is better at the overall combat but no flash to help it not seem repetitive as fuck besides the Musou attacks mixing these styles while addressing and fixing the faults on both imo is the way to go.

it's funny, because griffith is... pretty much in every sense of the word, omnipotent, so fighting him like this, unless some plot element comes into play that weakens his power (something to do with the world tree, for example?), it'll be impossible to beat him in combat.

Tbh this is the closest to the real ending. But to Kill Zodd Guts have to kill the Skull Knight, becuase they are were one before their eclipse. So yeah, in this fight there should be Skull Knight killing Zodd so he can die with him and finally reclaim his own self.
@@Clarity_Control facts. Skull Knight and Zod were the King Gaiseric, but were split into 2 cuz king wanted to control the armor without letting the Beast take over. In Gut's case after that mistake, that didn't let Gaiseric to win(he just didn't had enough motivation to fight and were at his limits), they decided to no split Guts and his Beast, but combine them, so Guts could control his power properly, but never give up.
I never understood the purpose of these games, since it's impossible for guts to fight griffith while still wearing the brand, furthermore the berserker armor couldnt help either bc it makes guts die. So rly...
