My ex threw away 15 years in 2 weeks , this was 3 weeks ago , so still fresh and now with another guy ,though she broke up and came back twice before ,I took her back cause I truly loved her with all my heart and tried desperately to save our relationship.This time she can go to hell . Dude, what are we supposed to do? Nowadays 8 out of 10 women will eventually get bored and monkey branch. 1 out of 10 will end the relationship and rebound, and the last 1 out of 10 is the unicorn who is committed, loyal, and will work through things and grow together, improving together. We supposed to look for the unicorn? I don’t know what to do anymore. The commitment of our parents era is basically gone. Especially as I get older, most of the women at my age or even a few years younger are traumatized and have a bunch of bodies. I could date a 23 or 24 year old that isn’t a ho and is family oriented, but that’s a pretty big age gap, and also hard to find. So I’m not sure lol

I really hope you find this comment. This is by far one of the best RUclips channels regarding healing I have encountered.
It’s so genuine and no bullshit. Not telling us what we want to hear but what we need to hear.
The channel is focused on healing and personal growth. I watched 3 different videos and I immediately bought the healing course. I am so excited for my journey over the next few months to heal and grow and move forward.
This video gives clear instructions that we should heal and hope for a reconnection but not after they’ve been with someone else. It’s so sincere, you can feel it in his voice.
I sent one last message to her today. Making it clear that I was going to focus on my growth, and character development over the next few months and if our paths crossed again, perhaps we can’t start something new, but the moment that someone else is involved (on either end) the possibility of reconciliation dies forever.
I have never felt so free. So excited for growth. I am happy with either outcome. Either I reconcile or I grow so much that I find better.

I’m a prime example. Had a happy family life married to my high school sweetheart, never thought had to worry about this. Had an affair and hurt me even after I tried saving my marriage and family. The thoughts are same about resentment and pain. I remember feeling that when we first dated about her exes can you imagine now. It’s hard to let go of your family and part of it is thinking love forgiveness and healing is everything. Fact2 is the pos that they destroy your life for.
Same here. But like 7 different dudes over a 7 year period. I'm absolutely permanently damaged psychologically and emotionally for the rest of my life. It never goes away, that pain is there like a recovering addicts cravings ....forever!!!
The spiritual connection part is true- we were together over 20 years! Felt inseparable. After the affair and the horrible behavior and things she did to hurt us no matter how hard or what I did to try to save our marriage and fix it nothing worked. I took my ex back after she cheated and after 10yrs she cheated on me again and kissed cuddled me had sex the night before she told me how much she loved me and can't wait to marry me then i came home to empty house she left me and destroyed me. I can't move on because i now hate her and its taking over my life cos i want revenge for hurting me like that.

This is so painfully relevant. I just listened to this like 5 times in a row to really absorb it and to hear what I’ve been thinking said by someone else.
You’re right. It’s been 6 months and I recently started seeing my ex going to my gym with another guy. It pisses me off so much because we were so in love. She repeatedly told me she wanted to marry me and loved me and wanted kids. Even the day before she discarded me she told me she really missed me and loved me.
Then the next day….a dozen excuses for why she never wanted to see me again. Half of which either were just things she had swore she loved and appreciated about me but now hated. The other half were either not relevant to our relationship or were easily fixable, yet she wanted to fix nothing and wouldn’t listen to solutions. She made up her mind without giving it a chance. She slowly became cold over the next week then cut me off.
I only reached out once before I saw her in the gym five months later. She was so mean and treated me like I was a horrible boyfriend and a diseased plague. She avoided even walking anywhere near me in the gym and I even saw her run out of a movie theater when she saw me sitting in the middle row with my daughter before a movie started.
I switch between hating her and loving her constantly and I’m so angry and depressed despite the amount of time that has passed. I haunts me every time I think of this guy with her enjoying her in every way I used to. It’s not fair and it makes me question my worth daily. Even during the break up she told me what a good man I was as she cried in my arms. I just want to be so angry at how she has treated me but I can’t understand why she would go from being head over heels in love to hating me overnight. And then having the guts to tell me she never loved me and to leave her alone when I tried to say hi to her in the gym before I saw she was with a guy.
Whatever u do do no under any circumstance take her back if her current relationship ends. Block her.

@@A23-e9d Thanks for your kind words. I really am broken. It hurts seeing her and then feeling her shun me only to go laugh and smile and be happy with some other guy. It doesn’t help that there are very few real options to date out here and her and I always believed we were so lucky finding each other and falling for each other the first day we met.

She still telling me how I was her handsome bf and how she was so lucky just a couple days before she discarded me. I can’t stand seeing her smile with her new guy when she should still be with me.
I think I know what kinda woman you were dealing with, this are the women who are desperately looking for love and fall in love really quick once they find you. They do not focus on themselves and promise a family and kids but theyre really a mess. This is what Im going thru after she ended things with me she couldnt really take some time for herself, she hopped onto someone was with him for a month and then found another one on dating apps and keeps jumping around, unfortunately I still live with her because of our baby but this women are always looking for validation once you stop giving them that they leave.
A little late for this necessary advice as I had a revolving door for the same person as I was trying to heal my heart. I’ve learned now and am ready for the pain process.

7 years and she broke up with me and she told me she did not trust me and she after a year of us talking she decided to see a new man. This devastated me and she doesn’t even text me , knowing I am fighting cancer , I still love her and I have not text her for a month the last thing she told me I did not want to hurt you , I want you to be happy . She wins and I feel so broken ..this video is good but the hart is what the hart wants . I am so lost what do I do . ***** Need to add to this comment**** Sorry if its long. My Ex asked for the break up a little over 2 months ago. Its been 66 days of No Contact for me so far. We were together for about 4.5 years. Long Distance. I'm in Jersey, shes in Mass. The distance between us was always an issue for her but I had no problem. There is a 17 year difference in age. Me being older. She expressed on several occasions to be married, I have no desire. She pushed constantly me moving up there, I cannot due to work, family and all that goes with that. I never asked her to move here. There are other things I can include in this list but I wont.
Just 2 days ago, She posted something on Facebook along with photos of her and another guy spending a long weekend at a resort in RI. I am still friends with her. I am tempted to pull the trigger on blocking her and unfriending her but wanted to hold out a bit longer (90) days or so to see what happens. Obviously she monkey branched me and rebounded to this new guy. Who by the way is a bit younger and lives and works in the same town as her up in Mass. Convenient huh? anyway, I'm torn as to my decision on totally blocking and unfriending her or riding it out on No Contact to see what happens with this rebound. Yeah it sounds like you're considering taking him back out of pity. There's more than one good reason not to take back an ex. If you don't respect and admire him that's a good reason not to take him back. You'll be saving him from a lot of hurt in the long run as well, because it wouldn't be a healthy relationship anyway.

I guess it's true that our phones really do listen to us. I'm in the thick of it right now. After 2 and 1/2 month break up and her having a rebound relationship, yes they had sex, she's come back asking to be with me again.
As heartbreaking and painful as it can be ,stand your ground 💪, and tell your ex to f@@k off , there aren't words to describe how much I loved and cared for my ex , the pain I'm going through after a 15 year relationship is just immense, I accepted her back twice before, and 3 weeks ago she did it again, and this time round it's been traumatic, believe me !!! All my love has turned into total resentment . So pls get the necessary strength to refuse her straight away , you'll be saving yourself from further and greater pain cause each time it'll get worse, and the one thing that you must keep in mind is that she's been with someone else ,thus violating the sacred temple you had in the relationship, like coach himself said , it's now contaminated!!

I disagree. I and several of my friends took back our exes months or years after they left and got into another relationship. They saw the grass wasn't greener and fought to get us back and we all ended up marrying them 🤷♀️
During the separation we had dated other men as well. Sometimes people don't know what they've lost til it's gone. People grow through learning lessons. You don't know what you don't know and by closing doors and not working through issues together you could be depriving yourself of an even deeper connection than you would ever get with someone new

I've experienced this one chance mentality where I was discarded for not immefiately getting everything exactly right and perfect by the first man I dated (after I had not dated for 18 years, which he knew). There were extenuating circumstances that could have easily been worked out with some communication but he decided to ghost me instead and just go find a new girlfriend despite the fact that we had extremely high compatibility and chemistry, which in my experience is rare
I'm sure his new girl will end up being discarded too, and the cycle will continue even though he says he wants to get married and have kids, and I'm left wondering what the point of dating is if this is how people relate to each other now

I see what you say and it makes sense. But my question is: in this damn real world, are there people who wait after breakup? And reflect on whatever has happened...? I haven't been raised in the US. But all my friends who are from here say that even decent people usually heal the breakup pain with hook ups, jumping into rebounds and it's kinda very common...

It’s interesting bc it’s been extremely true from my experience both as someone who has been rebounded on and the rebounder. When I rebounded I was still very much in love with my ex but I stayed with my rebound relationship for almost a year. She could tell I wasn’t fully present and ultimately I ended it.
I also had an ex rebound with someone for over a year and it turned extremely toxic but you wouldn’t know it from the social media posts. People who genuinely loved you don’t get over you that quickly. That’s why it always turns toxic

My ex and I are married but separated for a year. He had this girl already before he left and been with still. He screams red flags but they’re still together. It’s a total mystery to me. I myself been doing the work and healing from all this mess. Definitely moving forward.
@@silkiar6297 glad to hear you’re moving forward! It’s tough especially when you see them “happy” on social media and what not. I even had an ex MARRY someone else a year after we broke up but they ended up divorced a few months later. It’s pretty much guaranteed to fail when they rebound so quickly.

Not necessarily. Only if you think it helps you to heal. But usually it looks very immature and weak to block.

Don't reach out, and if they contact you respond always polite and short-term. Don't put more energy into it than they do.
Remember this person left you and has no problem living a life without you. So why would you reward them with your attention and energy?

Will he always be there for her like you did? Will he drive her crazy with neediness and jealousy? Is he as confident as you?
