Unfortunately it was very windy all day long and Thomas had to wait until the wind calmed down a bit. Still the plane was shaken quite a bid in the air.

Wow, that sure is light and very nice build! Nicely flown considering that light weight and - the wind. Shows very nicely the uses of ducted fan propulsion. Great job with a very tricky landing :)

That sure was a slick landing in windy conditions.
Der Start und ganz besonders die Geschwindigkeit zum Zeitpunkt des abheben wirkt sehr realistisch.
Was wohl dem Leichtbau zu verdanken ist.
Natürlich macht dieser das Modell windanfälliger, aber man kann nicht alles haben.
Der Start ist auf jeden Fall traumhaft.
Ist eher etwas zum Fliegen bei Sonnenuntergang und Windstille.

Respekt, bei diesem Wind zu starten. Sehr schön geflogen und trotzdem ist der Einfluss des Windes gut zu sehen. Tolle Landung. Erinnert mich an manche Landung des Vorbilds. 😂
Thomas war am Überlegen, ob er bei diesem Wind überhaupt fliegen soll. Tagsüber war der Wind noch heftiger und somit musste er den ganzen Tag über warten bis es besser wurde.

Since this model weighs only 9 pounds, it is very sensitive to crosswinds. That was the reason why he landed at an angle to the runway.

Imagine boarding your next flight from An uneven grassy runway. Why do RC pilots do this to their beautiful aircraft? Is a paved runway taxiway too much to ask for?

@@aetreus88 you just wouldn't be able to get a structure light enough (and stiff enough) made just out of carbon fiber. Using any kind of sandwich material would significantly increase the weight. In fact the model in this video is kinda made out of just the inner core of a composite sandwich.
those engines look like they would rip off due to the fact they are wayyy to close to the floor. best of luck great aircraft oftherwise. happy new year brother
