This is perfect to fall asleep (not in the boring way, but in the calming one). No commentary, you are thrilled to follow so not a single information gets away from you. Only the sounds of zone, gunshot and nice music. I always watch it, but because it's so chill and calming to watch, I fall asleep and have to re-watch the next day. Thank you sir, for giving me a good sleep after multiple years of sleep deprivation and nightmares.
I like Cheeki Breeki for the fun narrative way he pulls us along on his adventures. This however, this is a wonderful way to show the beauty of the zone with no commentary which cements the loneliness you can feel while playing it. I really like the style.
By the way once, exploring the X18 laboratory in the G.A.M.M.A assembly, I stumbled upon the first locked door (the one from which is the password is 1243), the sounds of mutants were heard from there, according to my own not the first experience of passing this Laboratory, I thought it was a scripting sounds, but when I opened that door, a surprise awaited me, everyone except poltergeists met me, bloodsuckers, dwarfs, snorks, even a pseudo-giant pinned up. I was lucky to have a Saiga-Scientist with me.😂
I have never seen a better looking game, I'm still playing my first campaign of SoC, I can't wait to finish all three games and finally start playing Stalker Anomaly with all the cool mods you are running!

I think it was a mercenary playthrough.

Would love to see a more realistic red dot sight behavior (having the "red dot" be actually projected through the sight and moving with the weapon) like desolation did, before it got rid of animated recoil and the whole guns just started climbing up, but this is still better than the older weapon mods where the sights we just a texture slapped on the glass of the sight itself
god the amount of hours i put into these games back in the day. this looks so sick its like a new game... wish i had time to deal with modding the game like this
Grass height adds so much to the immersion but the gameplay is not adjusted for it. You will be food for mutants and game literally puts grass everywhere with no grassless open spaces in which you could take refuge on to survey the area. Not to mention you will always be sniped by enemies if you're peaking on a ridge, also the FPS hit is horrible, we need open-xray guys to maybe come up with a solution for that. PC shouldn't have to load all pixels on a grass in the 130meter area.
screen space shaders mod counters that with the interactive grass. You can clearly see something coming at you most of the time. Don't be afraid to play with taller grass if it looks better to you
@@QuestionmarkTimes2 Sadly even if I like its looks, the gameplay impact is way too severe. I had enough of banging my head on the wall because I get shot through the bushes by bandits and whatnot. And interactive grass doesn't really improve visibility if the grass infront of you is too tall that you won't see the bushes behind it going down not to mention even with a 6900XT I get like 50 FPS with grass looking the way I like em
@@Saturnit3 Grass size doesn't affect performance. There's an addon for anomaly that prevents the AI shooting you through bushes (gamma has it I think, but it's disabled by default). It's easily exploitable though, since standing inside of a bush practically renders you invisible to them. Doesn't work the same for tall grass unfortunately.

This one was amazing, such a thick atmosphere. Two things stood out, how did you manage that aim around corner feature while you were in the trailer? Looked like a blind fire feature, haven’t seen that before. The other is where we see your character light a fire and sit down on a bed, was that another NPC or is there some 3rd person dark magic going on here?
I love GAMMA, the atmosphere is spot on, the progression is pretty good, and the overall dedication to the project is insane. However, I can not praise the AI like most do. It's not "Smart AI." It's simply hard because they aren't affected by the same things that restrict the player. They can strafe at max speed while landing very accurate shots and turn on an absolute DIME due to no inertia on their end. Meanwhile, I'm having to slug my way to cover, try to corner peak, and hope they aren't just rushing, aha. Only way to combat this is to just increase your damage, increase their recoil, and their bullet dispersion, but it ends up feeling too cheap. In the end, I still love it, and it's hard to complain about a game this old, and a mod that's holding it together.

Glad to hear! I think A.D.E.G.A. is a more robust texture pack overall and I prefer using it for Autumn/Winter setups. ZR does have its own visual flair that really shines with higher saturation and Spring/Summer builds, though. I tend to swap them around to fit the mood of whatever I'm recording at the time, so it's difficult to pick a favorite. If I was just playing to play though I'd pick A.D.E.G.A.

I like ZR for summer/spring setups and ADEGA for pretty much everything else. Overall I think ADEGA provides higher fidelity across a wider suite of textures, but ZR has a compelling style that brings the Zone to life whenever you're creating a greener/more saturated setup.

It's entirely up to you. The visuals are great with the new Atmos / SSS LUT Module, but there are still effects offered up with ReShade that significantly improve visuals. I recommend experimenting and finding what's best for your system.

Some weapons have animations for the ammo check mod (already in GAMMA), some just don't.
