I just bought my son the Mahogany version of the CD-60S yesterday. He loves it. It's a beautiful guitar, with a very nice tone. For the price these guitars are selling for, it's a great guitar.

Good video for soundchecking the Fender gitar.👍
The perfect entry level gitar or low cost pro gitar. Comparison: Olmost the same like my Richwood artist series. Same specs, playabilety nut-with body size.
The natural mat spray on the richwood is ultra thin and therefore its sound has more tone flavors so to speak and longer sustain becose there is no thick lacker on it not influencing the sound coming from the body. Costing a 100 euros more (2022) therefore...
This Fender is a really good one to start with and has a good sound coming from a solid top !
In comparison with a plywood top you will notice rigth away next to each other.
The plywood has no tones like cartbord..!
Yes there is a 100€ difference from the cheapest gitar.
In the end its your wallet that decides. If you are sure you want to play gitar have a solid-top! 😂
Or start with plywood and lateron you can drag it anywere without a case and leave it somewere as a backupp or on the wall for decoration?!

Saskia Hi, the CD series is a Dreadnought (bigger, most popular size) for more bass and volume. CC is a concert, so most likely smaller in size and higher in tone and pitch, meant for people with smaller hands or smaller frames. Hope that helps. I myself am considering this or a Yamaha FG800, not sure which though.

Hi, it sounds like yours is the Parlour sized model (nice guitar btw!), the CD model is the dreadnought size. Fender also make a Folk sized guitar, the CF60S, which is in-between the Parlour and dreadnought sizes. Hope that helps - Sam
